Where do I even begin? This hotel absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. Let me start by saying that the hotel grounds are a beautiful oasis, a true hideaway where you are immersed in nature. My suite was huge, like a villa, and I had a beautiful patio space where I could listen to the sounds of nature and do yoga. The river access was breath taking, where you can go on an hike and take a dip in the beautiful Celeste waters where it is completely private. The staff all made sure to know your name and treat you as family. Juan Pablo, Isma, Paolo, Jennifer, Josie, Nelson, and Christian all took great care of me and truly made me feel taken care of (which makes all the difference when you’re traveling solo). I did the nightwalk with Freddy which was also a great experience seeing all the wildlife on the property. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for a truly amazing experience.

Out time at the Hideaway was absolutely beautiful! Upon our arrival we felt instantly welcomed with a cool face towel and fresh juice. We were then taken to our bungalow by golf cart by the sweetest employee. The grounds and scenery are unbeatable! We had a forest view suite and it is totally worth it! We were able to sit out on our balcony and view tons of wildlife and listen to the chirping of the birds. We also enjoyed all the food and refreshment options with a full service dining area for the complimentary breakfast and the reasonably proced dinner. There was also a swim up bar with food and ddink options as well as a coffee shop. My partner also reay enjoyed the gym and all the nice equipment provided. All around the staff were very kind and helpful going above and beyond. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and will be back when we are in Costa Rica again!

Like living in a storybook for a few days. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the property is so awe-strikingly beautiful it will take your breath away. Every detail, so incredibly thoughtful.

Las habitaciones son enormemente confortables con una decoración excelente y multitud de detalles para hacer que la experiencia sea inolvidable. Una terraza para el relax dentro de un paraje natural único. Si la habitación y el entorno son maravillosos, sin lugar a duda, lo mejor son las personas que con una educación y una sensibilidad exquisita, con la calidez del tono y ese leguaje exquisito hacen sentirte de una manera especial. Quiero destacar al Responsable de la Cantina Delirio Guatuso con el cual tuvimos una amena charla de vinos, quien ha creado un grupo humano de saloneros (como ellos dicen) que no olvidare. Gracias por tu ranita de ojos rojos.

Hideaway Rio Celeste is a beautiful resort with such attention to detail. The staff are very attentive to every small detail. The rooms are large and beautiful. The pool and jacuzzis were awesome after a day of hiking. The plants are gorgeous all around the property. Our dinner and breakfast were so good. Highly recommend.
