3-Star Hotels in Guilin

Didn’t expect this trip would become one of the best trips I’ve been on in China. Came without much expectation, but this resort is like a nice small community where people from all over the world meet in the common area or lunch time. We even had Christmas dinner prepared by their chef who can cook both western and Chinese food. The owner John is one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve met. Anyone would be lucky to meet him as he can talk to you about a lot of things such as news, global matters and sports. The receptionists and the owner are fluent in Chinese and English. This resort is especially popular with Hong Kongers and westerners as it’s quiet, chill and facing the lake. Only 10 min taxi ride can get you to the city center. Here the average taxi ride is only US$2. The food there was superb surprisingly but it doesn’t even cost much. For US$10 per person, you could get one big fish or 2-3 dishes. The room has heater and AC. The hot shower is nice too. In the lobby, they even showcase some old and contemporary Chinese art pieces. The patio outside is my fapvorte as you can just enjoy your coffee or tea overlooking the lake under the sun. If you are active like me, there’s a running track and a hike right around the corner. So bring your active gear! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Hotel located in a very quiet area near cave and surrounded by beautiful place to walk around. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The receptionist recommended good place to visit and even provided a map. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet experience in Guilin.

Great location which is convenient for the walking street near by and other places such as the temple. It is not a “staycation” type of hotel, rather more of a place you would drop your bags and head out to walk around😊 The hotel is very basic and perfect for that over night stop. The staff are very friendly and there are people who can help organize tours etc. It’s not overly loud and the room is very neat, spacious and clean. Lovely little tea set in the window. For a long stay it may not be ideal for most, as from the rooms there is no view, but for a overnight stop or just as a place to sleep, it is certainly convenient and great value 😊 Ps a taxi cannot physically take you right there as it is in the middle of a walking street. But they can drop you very close.

Facilities: There is a bathtub, and a disposable bathtub cover is provided. The bathtub is very comfortable and the price is affordable. If you like it, you must try it. Environment: The environment is OK, normal and there is nothing wrong with it. Service: The service is also very good. If you need anything, you can tell the front desk directly. The front desk brother on night shift has a good attitude and deserves praise. It is also very close to the East-West Lane, and it takes only a few minutes to get there.

A very satisfying experience. The hotel is in a moderate location, not far from any tourist attractions, and it is convenient to eat and shop nearby. I originally booked two nights, but changed my itinerary temporarily, and I got a refund in less than two minutes.

To be honest, I have stayed at Hanting hotels many times, and cleanliness has always been my feeling. The hygiene of this hotel is worse than those in Guangdong and Yunnan... There is a large parking lot downstairs, and the environment is worse, but the sound insulation is OK! The front desk should be praised! Next time I come to Guilin, I will consider staying here.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, they are very clean and the transportation is very convenient. It is very close to the Elephant Trunk Mountain Li River Scenic Area and is also at the end of the airport bus route. It is very convenient to take a bus and eat nearby. The customer service is friendly and very enthusiastic.
