Great price for our family of 4. Clean and everything we needed. Cleaning staff super friendly. Small pool but refreshingly cool.

The lady in reception was friendly but made a comment on how I got the room so cheap. Room was very dated. Poor lighting in bathroom and no exhaust fan so gets very steamy. Smoke alarm in room had a plastic bag over it. There was a biscuit packet under the bed so was unsure if they cleaned properly. Bed was quite uncomfortable and firm. Not entirely their fault but it rained and there was poor drainage so needed to walk though water to get out of room. I won't stay again

Stayed in a room where the quilt overs on single and queen bed were so badly stained we removed it from the bed immediately !!!!! 😖 Nothing like pics on internet the carpet felt unclean to walk on with no shoes on We have been travelling for 11days worse motel we have come across on our trip and we travel to lots towns around our country We stayed at Rockhampton for 3 nights with a White Doona on the bed and it was spotlessly clean and more than $20 cheaper a night Obviously the cleaners don’t have any pride in there work just disgusting sent pics to my family to show them and they couldn’t believe the state of the quilts

An older but quality built hotel. Located a short distance from the main drag, the hotel is near a picturesque church. The room we stayed in was a deluxe room double. It was clean and tidy. For a country hotel, it featured the essentials such as air con, electric blankets, tea making facilities including jug, mugs, toaster and microwave. LCD TV, info guide on the city and restaurants. The bathroom also features a hair dryer and the wardrobe also stowed an iron and iron board. In summary the hotel was clean and reasonably priced, more than adequate for a short stay.

We were charged for a ‘deluxe’ room. I doubt it was even a standard room. We were greeted with ‘I’m not cooking breakfast’ cool, we didn’t want breakfast. Clearly been in this business too long. The heater was behind a wall and unusable. Bathroom hasn’t been updated since it was built. There was still the previous occupants soap in the shower. The beds were hard. The curtains didn’t cover the windows until chairs were placed holding the curtains in place. There was a substantial gap under the door which we had to plug up with pillows. One side of the jug was corroded. The water was very hot, I’m glad there was no child using it. The shower kept losing hot water. Bypass, bypass, bypass.

We needed somewhere for overnight. The price was good. We got what we paid for. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful. The decor was dated but the price was good. The hot water was hot and the shower was good. I would recommend it as a stopover.

Our stay was fine the accommodation and location was good for the purpose of our stay. Rooms are a little dated and the heating Was not working, but other than that this is a tidy comfortable motel, staff and communication was fantastic we got what we paid for.
