Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is very new. Nice, clean and fully equipped with facilities similar to the standard of new hotels in China. The location of the hotel is on Saengchan close to Rayong city and near Laem Charoen Beach. Saeng Chan beach looks better in pictures. It's a hip beach for the younger generation to hang out. The location is good for young locals or foreigners who may travel to Rayong by public transportation. I personally prefer further away from city, a more quiet long beach such as Mae Pim beach or Mae Rum Pueng beach.

Great
WWorldWideSvenA somewhat older but clean hotel.
Unfortunately, I had to log back into the Wi-Fi a few times, which required a new password from reception each time.
The staff, however, are very friendly.

JJinwanmeiyouyueliang88The room is spacious, and the air conditioning works really well, much better than the Hilton next door. But the main highlight is the breakfast — it's vastly superior to the Hilton's, and the price is lower too. Plus, there are some great Thai restaurants nearby that are also very affordable.

GGuest UserIf you're coming to Koh Samet, this is the place to stay! Right outside the hotel is a great snorkeling spot. If you have fins and swim a bit further out, you'll see even more fish. Even if you don't snorkel, just tossing bread crumbs by the shore attracts a whole bunch of little fish, so it's fun for all ages. Plus, the fact that it's not crowded is a huge bonus.

Great
DDanzipaiduisishengfanmamaThe room and service were decent. Perhaps with the rising prices in Thailand, it doesn't stand out as much anymore. To get to and from the hotel from the pier on the island, you'll need to take a songthaew. It's definitely more convenient to rent a motorbike if you're staying on the island, you can even ride to some small beaches in the south to relax. The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance and is good for a fancy meal. I'd recommend a street food stall I found – for about 200 baht per person, including four or five beers, the food was delicious. They even sent a small cake on my birthday night.
GGuest UserThe facilities are great. I stayed here once for New Year's Day and came back for a few more days. The hotel has its own beach, and in the evenings, they offer open-air movies and fire dance performances. They thoughtfully provide both deep and shallow swimming areas, so kids can play safely. The pier is also a unique feature. It's a bit disappointing though that when I came for New Year's, the room included a welcome scarf, and the mini-bar had free snacks and drinks. This time, the room price was significantly higher, and those little extras were gone. However, the overall experience is still excellent, making it perfect for a vacation. P.S. First thing to do when you get to the island: rent a scooter!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, clean and tidy, and the waiters are very friendly. The hotel has a rich breakfast. The facilities are complete, including a swimming pool, gym, table tennis table, sauna and steam bath. Very comfortable. Recommended!

Very Good
GGuest UserService: First off, a huge shout-out to the service! Our trip was a bit rushed, and all the rooms were booked up. We originally wanted to stay for three nights, but the middle night was Valentine's Day, and it was so popular that we couldn't get a reservation. I thought it would be easy to find another hotel, but there was nothing available. A guy at the front desk named James was an absolute lifesaver! From the moment I asked him, he not only helped coordinate rooms at their own hotel but, more importantly, he continuously helped me contact other hotels and made reservations for us without hesitation. Otherwise, we would have been sleeping on the streets! There was also a lovely lady at the front desk who was incredibly helpful. A big thank you to both of them.
Environment: I absolutely loved the hotel's environment! The beach is right there, connected to the hotel. It's not a sandy beach, but the best part is that you can go clamming and crabbing there – we found moon snails, bullseye snails, turret snails, and even various sea cucumbers and crabs! It's perfect for families with kids.
Facilities: The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and it's done really well. Everything is very new, so there's no hesitation about staying here. The breakfast was also good.
If we ever come back to Koh Samet, we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again!
CCPeelBeautiful resort. Very quiet ( unfortunately). Perfect location for a wedding. We had a small (6 people) ceremony, pictures and a dinner. We had the resort pretty much to ourselves and have pictures and memories to last a lifetime. My only downside was not enough wine selection. Could be due to lack of guests.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel in January 2026. We liked the hotel; it's centrally located with markets and Lotus nearby. The hotel has a good gym with a sauna and a hammam, a small pool, and excellent breakfasts. Housekeeping is daily, and slippers, a bathrobe, shampoo, and shower gel are provided. However, there's no toothpaste or toothbrushes, despite it being listed as available. There's a safe in the room, and Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel. There's no free shuttle to the beach, even though it was stated as an amenity on our trip booking. We chose this hotel partly because of that specific feature. Ultimately, you can get to the beach by taxi for about 100 baht, or walk about 5 km. We walked a couple of times through the mangrove forest, but it is quite a distance. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hotel. We thank the hotel staff for their hospitality.
