Hotels in Cat Ba Island, Haiphong

I am very satisfied. It was my birthday when I stayed there, so I inquired beforehand if such a service was available, but there was no reply and I was looking forward to staying at this hotel itself, so I felt that it was enough. However, during my stay, I received a message from customer service via WhatsApp and they prepared a birthday cake for me. The hotel itself was quite well-equipped, and I was able to enjoy the hot springs (which use minerals from Gifu), pool, gym, beach, and bar. You can enjoy the hot springs until 10 p.m., but I recommend going before 8 p.m. I would like to stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.

Kept hotel it was in pristine condition and the breakfasts were Brilliant except the Manager said it hasn’t received payment and they need me to pay again from my Bank which actually did he now recognise the mistake because I proved to him with printouts from the hotel that I paid already he promised pay me back via PayPal and took the relevant pictures from PayPal is now five days and nothing……????

The service is good, the hotel environment is comfortable, clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the beach environment is beautiful.

Cat Ba Oasis Bungalows was exactly what we needed for our time in CatBa. Located right near the beach, there was good access to activities, food, drink, etc. Rooms were clean and had good A/C. Check-In / Out was easy. The hotel held our bags for us and helped us book a taxi to do some hiking. Breakfast had reasonable options. The pool was completely empty at night, very nice area to hang out.

We slept here for 4 nights and it was perfect ! The room we book3d was wide with space. The breakfast is a buffet and with a lot of choices. You can go to the terrace , have lunch , dinner or a drink for the sunset. It's a very nice place with a beautiful view ! The price for the laundry and the scooter rental are good too. It's a little bit further away from the center , 10 min walk. A good place to stay !

We were really happy with the hotel, the room and the service! The room has a huge bed, good bathroom. Cleaning service was good. Towels for the beach are provided. The breakfast was good and had a big enough variety (pancakes, bacon, egg, fried noodles and rice, pho, fruits and juices, …) The extra services were also really helpful. We did laundry service (40k per Kilo), booked a scooter (100k per day), booked a day boat cruise for the bay and our bus back to Hanoi directly at the reception without any trouble. The reception manager had good enough English and was really helpful. He gave us a cold drink when we arrived and gave us a short intro into the surroundings. We also got extra water and juice when we once waited in the lobby. Thanks! Also the rest of the staf was friendly and helpful. The also tried the best to support us: when we were not super happy with the boat tour (did not fully match the description) he dealt with the company and gave us a good discount. Also when we had the scooter only for a few hours, he gave us 50% off.

Website trip and motel coordinate poorly 1 , washing does not dry clothes, so waiting for a long time is minus when you want to go to the morning bath or take a boat in the morning, accommodation is far away, so consider taking a motorbike or car (no electric car) , pay attention when you want to use the service j should ask about the price (avoid the owner is comfortable until the time of payment is unexpected), note: should actively request the requirements, bed linens, there are mosquitoes at night, should pay attention, pay attention to the sign on the safety wheel (sometimes there is a police when passing the ring standing there). The host also doesn't care much about what guests do, so it's quite comfortable

Very nice hotel, rooms are clean and well kept. Good location with a sky bar and a great view of the sunset. Hotel staff were excellent especially Elvis, what a guy, can make any cocktail under the sun and also a top coffee after breakfast, very knowledgeable of the aera and was happy to help with any questions we asked. Seeing him each time we came back to hotel with a smile on his face and asked about our day, he made our stay that much better . Highly recommended this hotel
