Hotel&Spa Century Marina Hakodate

Last time I came to Hakodate, I stayed at the famous La Vista Hakodate Annex Hotel (not the one in Hakodate Bay). The experience was very good. However, because the itinerary was a bit rushed this time, I didn't book La Vista. I temporarily chose Century Marina, which has a good reputation. The location is right next to La Vista and is also in the Kanemori Warehouse Group. It takes about 7 minutes to get there from the JR station. Downstairs is the Hakodate Morning Market. The feature here is that guests can choose their favorite aromatherapy and pillows that they feel comfortable with before checking in. There are many choices of aromatherapy and pillows, each with a large row, and there is always one suitable for you. Aromatherapy can be placed next to the pillow to help sleep. La Vista is more famous for breakfast, and I didn't expect Century Marina to be quite good. The variety is very rich and the ingredients are top-notch. During the peak breakfast time, there will be a queue for calling numbers. Many Hakodate-limited ones must not be missed. Beer and champagne are provided, and coffee is from the local brand Meiling, which can be taken away when you leave. The open-air hot spring faces Mount Hakodate, and the scenery is not much different from La Vista. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs. The outdoor one is of course not to be missed, but it will be closed if it rains, so be aware of this. Take an open-air bath while looking at Mt. Hakodate and the streets of Hakodate, and then have a spa after coming out, and the fatigue of the journey will disappear. By the way, the lotion here is particularly easy to use, a local brand, the lotion is very easy to spread, and has a good moisturizing effect. It is sold in the store downstairs for 2,300 yen. It is recommended not to miss it. I searched the entire network but couldn't find it.

very big room. Excellent location, near to JR station only 2mins walking distance! Hakodate train is near, only 5 minutes walking distance. I stayed for the first time. Check-in was late around 21:00, but I was able to respond with a smile. However, it was a pity that I missed the alcoholic drink service in the lobby. The room was still large and easy to use. The bed width is 156 cm, so it's big enough for me to sleep next to it. As for breakfast, the main menu was colorful salad. The corn soup was very tasty and delicious at first sip, but the amount was large and the latter half felt a little heavy. The bread was very delicious. It is a recommended hotel for sightseeing, of course, but also for relaxing alone.

The hotel is an hour away from Hakodate station. It is an old styled hotel but well kept. Their bath is superb and we enjoyed using it. The receptionists didn’t speak English and they had instructions in English instead. They don’t provide any water. You need to purchase them for 100yen each. I asked for Japanese room but they gave me beds instead. I had pleasant stay and would consider visiting again

Very near to JR Hakodate is walking distance. In winter be careful when you walk because sometimes walking on the ice slippery. We enjoy staying at Tokyu Stay, our bedroom facing Hakodate City Seikan Train Ferry Memorial Museum Mashū-maru. We also can see christmas tree at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse - Bay Hakodate from our bedroom. The hotelhave vending machine and ice at 17 floor. Enjoy creme brulle that bought at Hakodate station in the bedroom.
Yunokawa Kanko Hotel Shoen

The hotel is quite big, the room is quite big, sleep three people (one family) no problem. The bathroom is small and there is a large bath on the first floor. After all, it is an old-fashioned Japanese-style room, after all, it is cheap. Very close to the beach, there are 100 meters. The buffet is also traditional Japanese.
