Japanese family hotel. Sleep on tatami. The problem is that the toilet is inconvenient downstairs. Sound insulation is too poor. I was disturbed by a group of Japanese people next door and couldn't sleep well. I won’t stay again without contacting you.

Its a very quiet, beautiful spot close to stations to travel to hakone and the baths were lovely! Its nice to walk around the area. The man running the hotel spoke english pretty well, my non japanese speaking friend had no issues at all. The bedding is futons and it was more comfortable then the hotel we previously stayed at and was perfect for our single night stay

We stayed with 5 people and it was very comfortable as it was close to the station.
The nearby convenience store closes early so I recommend doing your shopping beforehand.
