Beds comfortable. Backstop mountains lovely and plenty kangaroos to go around. Very clean and comfortable. Only small drawback was tight parking space. Lovely lady at reception made us feel welcome. More than sufficient dishes and facilities to go around. Perfect for our purposes. The bed was spacious and had electric blankets fitted. Warm and toasty with the bed holding the heat hours after blanket switched off. Swing heater/cooler fitted to wall and large television with wifi connection.

Melbourne to Perth and back again staying in motels and cabins, some of which were ordinary in the extreme. Then we found this gem at Halls Gap in the Grampians in Victoria. Everything in this operation is absolutely first class. Meticulously maintained and top quality fittings and furniture throughout. We were so impressed. The lovely woman who runs it (Maree, I think) knows how to do it right.

Located a few hundreds meters from Halls Gap center, shops and restaurants, D'Altons Studio offers very nice and spacious cottages, in very good conditions. It's also a treat to wake up and see kangaroos in the garden. The hosts were also super friendly and took time to explain us all the things to see around. We highly recommend it :-)

INCREDIBLE 💕FANTASTIC💕 BEAUTIFUL Right in the centre of halls gap The place is everything I wanted and more It’s spacious comfortable bed with heated blanket huge tv you can watch Disney plus YouTube and more The kitchen is fully equipped the jacuzzi was amazing the patio outside was so nice looking at the kangaroos You had so much privacy and the receptionist nari was a beautiful soul with exceptional customer service thank you for a wonderful time

Die Studios liegen günstig zu den Restaurants von Halls Gap. Sie sind um eine Wiese mit kleinem Wasserlauf gruppiert. Von der Terrasse kann man dort die Kängurus beobachten. Die Studios sind gut eingerichtet. Das Auto kann direkt neben dem Studio geparkt werden. Aber am meisten beeindruckt hat uns der Empfang. Wir bekamen Hinweise zu Touren, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten und extra für uns übersetzt auf deutsch.

We arrived on Monday 4th and from the outset the experience was great. Our spa cabin was very spacious and comfortable and had all of the facilties required for a relaxing getaway. The wildlife in the area on our front door step (kangaroos, kookuburras, ducks) each afternoon made it and even more memorable experience. Looking forward to returning.

Ngarie was very helpful on check in and gave us lots of useful information on walks, attractions and places to eat. The location is perfect as you are right in the Grampians, all you have to do is look around and you see mountains. The studios are beautifully maintained and they have good quality appliances in the kitchen and it was evident that they were thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. The two person spa was a wonderful treat after a day of walking around the Grampians. The studios are well positioned and provide great privacy to enjoy the beautiful surrounds. It was lovely sitting on the patio listening to the babbling brook while we had breakfast or while enjoying the antics of the local kangaroos who made an appearance each afternoon. Be sure to get back to the studios by around 3pm to enjoy the wonderful wildlife.

A wonderful oasis set amongst pathways that meander through eucalyptus trees. Wildlife is on show with kangaroos peacefully munching whilst the kookaburras look on. All this in view while you savour your early morning coffee on the deck. So close to the village of Halls Gap.

Made to feel welcome at check in, lots of information about what to do, where to eat and even good coffee in the morning. Lovely little cosy spa cottage. Roos in the front, cockys on the roof and magpies on the verandah to welcome us. It had everything inside the kitchenette that you need including cutlery, crockery, toaster etc. Nice to sit on the verandah after a day of exploring the beautiful local area, and then into the spa of course. Very convenient walk into town and very reasonably priced. We would have no hesitation recommending D'Altons Studios to our friends. Dave and Jane
