This is one of the most beautiful family owned hotels in the world I would say. We stayed at this hotel in June 2024. It's made out of wood rooms are spacious. Front of the room was mountain view and there was a 600 years old beautiful fireplace. Owners were very hospitable and cooperative. We had an amazing stay and wonderful memories of the place.

Well located, spacious and clean rooms, a little dated, especially the separate toilets/shower rooms (no en suites). There’s no reception as such or any communal space but the manager was very helpful, especially when we tried to locate a lost item, though he’s not always on site. Communication via phone or DM can be frustratingly slow.

Don't risk your Hallstatt stay by booking this place. Property cancelled 1 hr before arrival. Booking dot com confirmed reservation 5 mths prior. Nothing else in Hallstatt to convert to last minute. Completely unprofessional operators Simply the Worst accom booking experience in 40yrs of travel.

An amazing stay! I came here with my family for 2 nights and we loved every minute of it. A great experience to stay in a 400 year old hotel. Staff were lovely, very accomodating and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay truly remarkable. Already planning our next stay here!!

This was one of the most scenic places I have stayed in. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. The rooms were super clean and cute, definitely added to our Hallstatt experience. France, was super polite and helpful, he provided us with information about things to do around the village and he was there for us any time we needed him. All in all we are very pleased with our Hallstatt accommodation experience!!!

Looked all over town for place to sit, and finally landed here. The service was good, but the cheese pizza was very average. However, we were starving, and we ate every bite. Went to use the restroom, and that was interesting....It is 1 room, with 3 stalls--a mens, women's, and I can't exactly remember what the middle was labeled.

We stopped at the sidewalk cafe during our day trip to Hallstatt. We had the goulash and tomato soup, both were served with a warm freshly made roll. Then we had the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert! It was amazing and filling! We had to get a to-go box.

Plus a nice surprise The place is great in the city center but in a parallel alley so quiet. The place is charming. The owner and the employee are very friendly. There is a free shuttle between the parking lot and the hotel for arrival and return. Park at P1 or P2. We had room 6 very nice with a superb view of the lake. Spacious but with carpet. 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets shared on the landing for the 3 rooms. It was very clean. Breakfast is also 17 € it is correct. And the general price of the night is rather high but it is everywhere in Hallstatt. So it was one of the cheapest and very good. Dogs are accepted and at no extra charge. In short it was great! I recommend this place. The fact of sleeping on site in the heart you can visit the city alone in the world in the morning and evening. The best

We stayed in the apartment and it was simply stunning! The decor was charming and the beds were super comfortable. The second bedroom had a stream running next to it which made for the most relaxing time. The master bedroom was beautifully decorated with a balcony to take in the evening and listen to the music. The staff were immensely helpful and very welcoming. I can’t speak more highly of this place.
