Hallstatt Spa Hotels

We booked the lake view suite, and the location is superb. However, Hallstatt has become quite congested with heavy tourist traffic, making the prices excessively high compared to the facilities and service level they offer. On the bright side, they provide L'Occitane amenities in the room. In summary, when considering the hotel rate, think of 80% of it as paying for the view.

The breakfast is good. Although there are not many varieties, every item is delicious, especially the honey, which is really delicious. The waitress at the front desk speaks English and her service is considerate. In a hotel in this small town, such service is already a 5-star level. The dinner at the hotel was also very good, and I was very satisfied, except that the charge was a bit expensive. Note that the elevator only reaches the 3rd floor. I booked a room on the 4th floor. I have to carry my luggage to the 4th floor. I need to confirm which floor I am on before booking. Also note that the hotel does not have air conditioning, so be careful when going in summer. The picture shows the breakfast room. You can enjoy breakfast in front of such a beautiful fairy tale scenery. Although it is more expensive, it is worth every penny.
