3-Star Hotels in Ha Long

When we arrived the check in process was easy and the staff were really helpful and nice. We got into the room and were immediately greeted by a putrid smell of sewage or fish. We had just got in from a 9hr long bus journey so really wanted a shower however, the towels were dirty. The door would not lock and we had no hand soap either. We went down to reception to ask for a new room, which we were given straight away. The new room was much better although still no hand soap and the door did not lock. Food wise, the hotel only serves breakfast and lunch, which is very limited. Apart from this there is one hotpot place on the corner by the hotel but no other food places around for a good 30 minutes walk. We went on a day trip to Bai Chay beach which was around a 15 minute drive away, and it was completely empty- not another soul in sight for the whole 5 hours we were there and again with no food around. If staying in Halong I recommend staying on the Bai Chay side of the bridge instead of Hong Gai as it is very out the way of most things. The area is lovely and very well built, just the lack of places to eat made it difficult. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

I often stay here with my partner. We love the cleanliness and quietness of the place. There’s also breakfast here. Food are always warm. Added to that is the friendliness of the staff and how they accommodate you. On top of that, there’s a pool where you can see the view of Halong Bay and it’s neighborhood. It feels like home away from home.

The breakfast is good, but someone in the restaurant recommends traveling, but I don’t like it. The guy at the front desk can speak Chinese and is very enthusiastic and good. The hotel is good. The coordinates are wrong! ! ! ! Spicy Chicken Ctrip! The taxi took more than half an hour, which cost more than 50 yuan, and made several rounds. They are all Panshan Road. The location is a bit off.

Nice viewing, good location, near Sunworld and cruise port and very helpful staff. However the listed price is unclear. The price when I booked includes breakfast set but the hotel said no. And there is construction nearby hotel so it is noisy from early morning.

The hotel is right next to the market. It is very awkward in the morning. The room is clean and tidy. The sea view room is beautiful. The breakfast is average. There may be fewer guests. So it is an order. It should be a self-service form. The front desk service is very friendly.

We needed an inexpensive hotel for a one night stay before our Halong Bay cruise. I have no idea how my spouse found this place but it was a great find. Located in a local neighborhood but close to shops, a great French bakery and many great restaurants. The only hick up we had, the cc machine didn’t work and I had to get cash from a nearly ATM. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom also was big and the shower had plenty of hot water. The bed was so comfortable after sleeping a week on hard wooden beds in the country side. The breakfast was to write home about but it was filling and the coffee was good…. The Aircon was good and the WiFi was AMAZING.

It is highly recommended to come to Halong Bay to live here! Natural architectural design, patio lighting! Toiletries are natural and organic! The beds, pillows and sheets are very comfortable! There is also a terrace upstairs where you can see the harbor view of Halong Bay! Affordable and good service! Safety! Big push!
