I accidentally clicked on this Kaiyuan Hotel. It is very convenient to get off the highway. It is very close to the Fuchun River. It can be reached in ten minutes' walk after dinner. There are many people and it is very lively. The hotel environment is very good. Although it is not big, it is quiet and fresh. The free coffee in the lobby tastes good. The room is big enough, the TV is huge, and the whole room is decorated with wood, neat and stylish. Breakfast is on the first floor and is basically satisfying. The variety is rich and the taste is good.

This Ji Hotel in Fuyang District is not far from the terminus of Metro Line 6, with convenient transportation. It is very convenient to go to nearby attractions, museums, and Gongwang Art Museum (online taxi is only a dozen yuan, and there are also bus routes). The room facilities are complete and the room area is spacious. It is very friendly to people who have the habit of drinking tea, and tea sets are provided. It is a hotel with good value for money.

Every detail from check-in to departure makes people satisfied. The overall atmosphere is excellent. The front desk and room service are attentive and meticulous, helping with washing and drying clothes. The service in the restaurant is also very friendly. The breakfast is very rich and makes people feel warm. The facilities are also complete and intelligent, and the stay is very comfortable. Our party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

I have stayed at Andingyunju before. This time I found that the proprietress had re-upgraded the homestay, with a lot of flowers and plants, and created an infinity landscape pool to take pictures. The courtyard and room are more exquisite and beautiful than before. It just happened to be surrounded by clouds and mist in the rainy season. It was like being in a fairyland. The room was as clean and tidy as ever. The breakfast was very rich. The proprietress was very caring and pet friendly.
