We had a wonderful stay at Rose Garden Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful complimentary snacks and drinks prepared for us. It was also a lovely surprise to find a fresh rose in the room — such a beautiful detail.
The breakfast was very enjoyable, especially the delicious cappuccino. The swimming pool was absolutely amazing, and the gym with its beautiful view of the pool made the whole experience even more relaxing.
The resort truly makes you feel like you are on holiday in Thailand, even though you are in Hangzhou. The atmosphere, design, and facilities are outstanding.
A special thank you to Xiaofan for her warm hospitality and attentive service. She made our stay even more pleasant and memorable.
Rose Garden is truly one of the best resorts in Hangzhou. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back again!

Guest UserThe hotel design is beautiful and well-maintained.
**Xianshan Oxygen Hiking Tour:** The guided tour was a great experience.
**Swan Garden Feeding Experience:** The environment was excellent, not too crowded, making for a fantastic summer holiday experience.
**Environment:** A superb environment, very suitable for self-driving tours.
It's very suitable for family travel as it offers many extra services specifically for children, including a variety of breakfast dishes and bed rails for sleeping.
For business travelers, thoughtful amenities like nail clippers are provided, which are rarely found in other hotels.
I experienced some deep healing services, such as the morning Baduanjin stretching for awakening and the deep sleep therapy before bed.
My child also had an art photoshoot.
Water park tickets were also included.
Areas for improvement: The room lighting was too dim, making it impossible for children to do their homework.
The room ventilation system wasn't great, especially the bathroom, which lacked a separate extractor fan.
Overall, it was excellent value for money.

The front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, just 50 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The front desk even helped upgrade my room, which made my stay very pleasant. Thumbs up!

Stepping onto the balcony, West Lake was literally three steps away – not a distant view framed by a window, but the water almost lapping at my feet. Morning mist glided across the surface, the outline of Broken Bridge faintly visible behind a thin veil, and a couple of early-bird mandarins划开了 the mirror-like surface, their ripples spreading right up to my eyelids.
For these four days, I barely left the lake. Every morning, I’d jog along the lakeside promenade, from Park No. 1 to Park No. 6, watching old people practice Tai Chi by the water, squirrels scampering up plane trees. The fountains hadn't started their show, and the water was as still as an uncarved jade. When I got tired, I’d sit on a bench and watch the sun inch its way up from behind Gem Mountain, stretching Baochu Pagoda’s shadow long before dissolving it into the lake – that 'shimmering lake light' they talk about really was a pool of flowing gold foil. In the evenings, I couldn't bear to go back to my room. As the sunset dipped behind Leifeng Pagoda, the entire lake would blaze orange, and the silhouettes of pleasure boats glided by like a living Song Dynasty painting.
The hardware was impeccable. The bathtub faced the lake, and with the lights off while bathing, the window revealed a lake full of lights, the distant city skyline twinkling like scattered diamonds. But what truly made me want to stay were those small, warm touches: the turndown service bringing warm osmanthus lotus root starch, with a handwritten card saying, 'The moonlight is beautiful tonight'; returning to find my sun umbrella carefully rolled up and leaning by the door; the front desk girl remembering I loved Longjing tea, asking every morning before I left, 'Shall I brew it for you and leave it in your room today, or would you prefer it when you return?'
It rained on the last night. I deliberately left the balcony door open, letting the fine drizzle drift in, filling the air with the scent of lake water and fresh grass. Lying in bed, listening to the rain patter on the lotus leaves, I suddenly recalled Zhang Dai’s 'Watching Snow from the Mid-Lake Pavilion' – though the season was wrong, that ethereal feeling of 'sky and clouds and mountains and water, all white as one' (天与云与山与水,上下一白), I now fully understood it.
Upon checkout, the front desk handed me a kraft paper bag containing a small jar of Longjing tea and a Polaroid photo – a picture of my back as I sat on the balcony gazing at the lake on my first day. On the back of the photo was written: 'West Lake awaits your return.'
My eyes welled up at that moment. There are many good hotels, but only this one can make a lake truly settle into your heart.

LovelyxiaoyuerBooked a lake view room and got an upgrade upon check-in. The room was quite spacious, though the decor felt a bit dated. The open-plan bathroom, with the bathtub and sink integrated into the room, was a bit unusual for me, but it was great that each room had a dehumidifier. The service was excellent; rooms were cleaned quickly, and breakfast offered a good variety, with plates cleared efficiently. Direct access to the water park from the first floor was super convenient. Lunch at the hotel was a bit pricey but tasted good. I'd definitely consider staying here again. Finally, the high-speed rail shuttle service was good, though the air conditioning in the vehicle wasn't very effective.

This hotel has a chic, boutique vibe, with a generally dim aesthetic. The location is quite good, directly across from a park. However, the room was very small with an impractical layout. There were an excessive number of mirrors, likely an attempt to make the space feel larger. While the staff had a service-oriented mindset, their execution didn't quite meet expectations. The dining offered a fusion style, serving breakfast, lunch, and functioning as a bar in the evening. Overall, the value for money isn't great, and I wouldn't highly recommend it.

MARYSaaweetFirm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. Overall a good stay

G_shuishuiI came here for a vacation with my parents and children. Before arriving, I saw some negative reviews and was a bit nervous, but after getting here, I realized it was absolutely worth the price.
Facilities: All the necessary amenities and services are available. There are many things for children to play with, such as rock climbing, archery, basketball, and swimming. We barely had time to try them all. They also host various activities, and I saw the kids participating happily.
Environment: The Club Med environment is truly impeccable. As it's a newly opened hotel, everything is very new. Air purifiers are provided, and the toiletries are the same reliable brand as always.
Service: There's really nothing to fault about the service. From the beginning, when I accidentally booked the wrong room and contacted the hotel through Ctrip, they responded promptly. On the way to the hotel, staff members greeted us with smiles. Before check-in, the hotel's concierge added me on WeChat. A special mention goes to Cling; we could basically communicate any issues via WeChat at any time. We happened to arrive during a typhoon passing through Hangzhou. Before our stay, they politely inquired about our check-in plans and informed us that we could cancel without penalty. Check-in itself was quick and smooth. Cling arranged the entire itinerary very well and even informed us about party start times.
It's worth mentioning that breakfast was indeed excellent, and we also had the buffet dinner, which was priced as expected. Breakfast had everything you could want, and dinner also offered a good variety. The surrounding area is also very convenient; you can go tea picking, there's a town within walking distance, and it's easy to order takeout for milk tea, coffee, or go out to eat.

Guest UserThis hotel is nestled by the water, surrounded by abundant natural beauty. Its design cleverly blends nature and a sense of divinity, with lakeside rooms offering incredible tranquility, perfect for a relaxing and healing getaway. The overall style is modern and chic, and the rooms are warmly furnished with excellent natural light. The specially designed lighting and color palette create a comfortable ambiance. The butler service is meticulous, with thoughtful arrangements before and after check-in, and they are always available when needed. They are very attentive, warm, and friendly. We were traveling with our child, and the butler got along wonderfully with our baby, so I highly recommend it for families. The service is efficient and problems during our stay were promptly resolved. They also offer wellness programs and activities like sound healing, spa treatments, and afternoon tea. The hotel's cuisine is vegetarian, with exquisite and delicious dishes. In short, I highly, highly recommend it! It's a charming hotel I'd definitely visit again.
