Staff provided best customer service and beyond. Room has automated curtain and blinds switches. Welcome drinks stocked up in the fridge. Polite staff and near to Lawson convenience store plus good choice of local eateries.

Hotel location and services by staff were great. Particularly like that there is a laundry room in the hotel equipped with two washing machines and a dryer. Hotel staff also help to keep your laundry if you can't afford to wait for clothes to dry up. Pros: - Very convenient location, a couple of minutes walk to the West Lake. - The lobby is spotless, check in/out is smooth. - We went with a driver/tour guide (Zhu Feng) associated with the hotel who was very helpful, drove us around the lake for most of a day in pouring rain. - Bellman is very helpful with loading luggage (he needs to work out more though :). - Breakfast is good, but not great. Cons - The room is a little outdated, needs some maintenance work. - The AC is the worst. The one in our room was blasting air all day long, but can barely keep the temperate at 25 C (77 F). - The gym is pretty crappy. Looks like it's been rented out for external use, and it's not very clean or well maintained. Overall got a good bone but needs some management shakeup and remodeling.

Excellent location and service. Arrived midnight and allowed us to check in early the next morning. Gave us an odd numbered room as requested with excellent street views. Cross one street to West Lake but no views from hotel.

We stayed there in March 2016 when the hotel first opened. This is our second stay in the hotel. All facilities are well maintained. Services excellent and we will definitely go back in the future.

Lovely hotel, located right in front of West Lake main area with the big shopping malls next door. Warm a**osphere and cozy rooms

A lovely hotel on the lake, walking distance to the centre of the city. Location was great, I managed to do a day trip to Shanghai. Very nice staff, ready to help with any enquiries. Plentiful Chinese breakfast.

The hotel is located at the very beautiful part of the West Lake, making it easier to walk round the lake. However, the amenities are quite dated and the service is certainly far from the expected standard. The breakfast was pretty average. I certainly will opt for more modern hotel to stay in Hangzhou in the future.

The location is superb. It is really closed to the mrt station in Huangzhou. This station is also a Inter-city station that allows you to travel directly to Shanghai. Although not a main station in Huangzhou, but a few trains a day to Shanghai is enough.
