This is a place I stayed while backpacking. If there's a downside, it's that the toilet and shower room are together, but the staff were all friendly and the place was perfect. Hoan Kiem Lake was also very close by on foot, which was nice.

great location but you will get checked on by showing your keycard a lot of time to prove that you're staying here. It personally makes me feel awkward but overall, it's a reasonable price

Great hostel, the staff is very caring and professional! In addition, they have a great sense of humor and know how to entertain you (especially Linh) the rooms are very clean. They can also offer you tours, transportation for all the tourist attractions in the region! I recommend 100%!!

Used for a one-night stay in transit.
The staff was friendly and easy to deal with.
However, the fact that it was hard to lock the door (it was never locked) was a big minus. I only stayed one night and checked out early the next morning so it didn't affect me much, but if you want to use this as a base to get around Hanoi, you may be concerned about security. (Although it may not be a problem if it's just for you...)
The price is reasonable and the location is good (Hoan Kiem Lake, the Cathedral, and Hoa Lo Prison are all within walking distance), so I think it's worth adding to your options.
