Great location, right across is the start of Zhong Yang Street. We went mid Dec, with temps of around -10 to -33 at night, the hotel location allowed us to still be able to do some sightseeing by just crossing the road. The rooms are warm and spacious. Hotel breakfast had a good variety, a great plus point having hot breakfast on site! Hotel right on a busy road made getting taxis very easy. It's under 10 mins walk to Sophia cathedral, walkable during the day if wrapped up warm! Train station is around 10 mins away, airport around 35mins away by cab

The hotel is very nice! I am so proud of my own vision😝 The transportation is so convenient. From Harbin Taiping International Airport, take the Airport Bus Line 3 and get off at Central Street. The airport bus is about 20 yuan per person. It is recommended that you don’t take a taxi, or call an online car-hailing company with standardized platforms, otherwise small companies’ online car-hailing companies will easily increase their prices. Therefore, it is very convenient to get to Central Street from the hotel, just go out! You can eat Northeastern cuisine at any one of your restaurants. It takes 3 minutes to walk to Central Street Station of Metro Line 2, 3 stops to Ice and Snow World, and 2 stops to Harbin Station (I went to Yabuli). Just say it’s inconvenient! The hotel is very new, and the design is in line with the aesthetics of young people. The rooms are clean, the toilets are clean, the shower water retains heat, and the room temperature is very comfortable. You can also buy Xiaodu Xiaodu intelligent control appliances, giving you a very modern feeling. The room appears much smaller than on the website but is adequate for solo travelling. Although water bottles was replaced daily, dirty tea cups were never removed or washed during my 4 day stay and I had to rinse them in the bathroom. The trash can was emptied every day but they do not make your bed. The shower head was broken and difficult to handle and the mattress topper was too big for the bed and kept slipping off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult in the sense that the hotel is situated in a very busy main road, with one way direction and few in between passes, meaning taxis must first drive quite far past the hotel before making a u-turn to turn back to drop you. The downside of using Didi's or taxi's are the rude and impatient drivers. They charged extra high fares during Christmas. We were often gridlocked in traffic, ending up walking back 2-4km to the hotel. Overall I was disappointed in the city itself. Many buildings were rundown and neglected with broken windos and peeled paint, that reminded me of *********************. Streets were very dirty and a nearby school did not make traffic congestion any easier when commuting forth and back to the hotel. Rumours that Christmas is not so busy and a better time to be visiting Harbin, is not true. The crowds spoiled the experience at Saint Sophia Church, especially the influencers who dressed up in ridiculous outfits posing in freezing temperatures at the church staircases and corners, spoiling any photography opportunities. Stalls and shops around the Church were very expensive. I visited a few other churches like St Aleksyev and Jile Temple which was far worth the effort. The highlight of my trip was Volga Manor, Baroque Street and the Songhua Railroad Bridge. Sun Island snow sculptures were very enjoyable, easy to navigate and not congested with people. Plenty of space to walk through the park, play in the snow and take the cable car over the river. The ques are not long from the Sun Island side, but crossing over to Harbin's side, the ques were very long to get a cable car. Danny's Beer in the Baroques Street area is a must visit and offered welcoming, warm and delicious food and hospitality. It's a 4,7km hike from the Songhua River bridge and offered good food at very reasonable prices. I did not visit the Ice sculpture park or light shows because of the three hour waiting cues, too many people and slippery conditions. The Tiger park was a so-so experience and mostly annoying due to people teasing the tigers with meat *****s they cannot reach; all for the sake of a photo opportunity. If you are an animal lover, rather skip the tiger Park. Lastly, a big plus was the public toilets near the Songhua River that were impressively clean.

Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

第一次住如家，這家如家精選有家庭套房，很難得👍首先一家人入住活動空間就大了很多， 房間佈置和衞生方面，一大一小兩張床，大床睡兩大一小都綽綽有餘，睡的很舒服，房間窗户也不小夠亮堂，温度適宜，和我們在南京家裡開地暖的温度一樣不會覺得很乾燥熱的不舒服，放行李和吃飯的地方也足夠，衞生間也很乾凈無異味。 地點很好，出酒店右手邊五分鐘就到中央大街了，左手邊直走過一個馬路就是索菲亞教堂，再往前就是兆麟公園，可以給孩子免費看冰雕，玩冰滑梯的地方，中央大街站和尚志大街站離酒店都衹有幾分鐘路程，去冰雪大世界，雪博會兩三站車程就到！ 總之對第一次入住如家精選的印象很好👍

The hotel is in a great location!! It is near the Hagia Sophia, and the hotel transportation is also very convenient. If you want to stay on Central Street, this hotel is a great choice. There are lots of shops and restaurants around you with in walking distance. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from the nearest train station however getting a taxi is just around the corner. The staff didn’t speak English, if any very broken yet it’s not a deal breaker, because all you have to do is hand them your passport at check-in. The room had everything you would need or expect from a highly rated hotel such as a kettle, hair dryer, tv, etc. Feel rest assured that the rooms are well insulated too. We had -32 degrees outside in the evenings and didn’t feel cold at all. The biggest let down was the quality of the bathroom. The shower head didn’t spray water very well and the shower door had to be fixed during our stay as the water sealant ***** was loose, thus water kept running on the bathroom floor. The hotel is showing its age but not chasing be away. Yet its not the newest hotel, definitely one of the best placed. One highlight was the breakfast spread. I booked my room with breakfast included and I’m glad I did. There was freshly baked goods, fresh fruits, eggs and meat, some Chinese dishes and some cereal. Glad to have been able to leave the hotel in the mornings with a full stomach.

I came here because of the gimmick of Centenary Hotel, and I came with a feeling that may be good or bad about the whole hotel. But after arriving, the service, hotel facilities, and environment were all very good. The twin room I booked had better beds. Before arriving, I was prepared for a family of three to squeeze into two 1.2 small beds. But the arranged room has a 1.8 or 2-meter large bed, plus a small bed, which is equivalent to changing from a twin room to a parent-child room. And it’s on such a popular day in the third grade of junior high school. However, I did not find this type of apartment on Ctrip. It may be a hidden apartment to surprise guests. Then the hotel has welcome fruits, the hygiene is very clean, the parent-child room has been changed, the toilet is large, and the dry and wet separation is very good. The entrance of the hotel is inconspicuous, but as soon as you open the door and walk in, it is magnificent, resplendent and unique. The service is also very good. For breakfast, each person has a steak and an omelette. It is a Russian meal. As expected of a fighting nation, they eat a good breakfast. When I finally left, I was given a beautiful souvenir. It's very good. It's not far from Sophia Church. There's also a morning market nearby, which is popular with locals. It's cheaper than Hongzhuan Street. Traveling to Harbin, I was upgraded to a double room for free when I checked in. Even the cleaning aunt was very kind. There was also an aunt in charge of tourism at the front desk. I couldn't buy tickets for the Ice and Snow World, so the aunt helped to get them and told me We have many places to avoid pitfalls, which are really good! Recommended👍👍👍
