Insel-Hotel Heilbronn

I have just come from a 4 day seminar at Insel Hotel. First of all, and I think it's very important, the staff was without exception very friendly and helpful, no matter what time of day. We were 13 people and on the first day we were accommodated in an extremely small and cramped seminar room, something seems to have gone wrong in the planning. But you immediately apologized and from the afternoon remedy. We had lunch 4 times, we could choose between two dishes. There was gnocchi and fish with spinach and potatoes on two days each, I would have liked a little more imagination when planning the menu. I had a single room on the 3rd floor. The bathroom was relatively new, but the room still had the charm of the 80s. The bed sheet had some unsightly stains, when I complained about this, it was immediately remedied and new covers. On the second day the TV remote control didn't work anymore, here too the response was immediate and friendly. In fact, I was disappointed with housekeeping. In the room only my duvet was turned down and the bathroom was unfortunately not cleaned at all. The glass door might look good, but the disadvantage is that it has to be cleaned regularly and if you don't do that, well then it just looks very unclean. A definitely positive point to mention is the quality of the duvet and pillow! Simply great!!! Incredibly light and soft! I read some reviews on here that were critical of the breakfast. In my opinion, the selection wasn't overly huge, but it doesn't need to be, maybe just an additional type of cheese....it was also refilled when empty and the rolls were delicious! I'll be back in a few weeks and maybe I'll be lucky and get one of the renovated rooms.

Stayed there two nites and it was a nice accomodation. Breaky was good quaility and also broad variety like scrambled eggs, yogurt, bread, cereals, vegetables and so forth. Hote room was huge and with a good shower. If you dont go by car, it is quiet challenging to approach the hotel: public bus has strange routes and time-table and the path from main station, not far away and along some lakes, is interrupted by a huge working area...not the hotels fault, of course.

Great breakfast buffet with a large selection and all fresh, even homemade smoothies and Bircher muesli. Very good downtown location. Underground car park. Triple room a bit tight. But everything was very clean. Very nice boss and employees. Ideal for a visit to the BUGA, on foot in about 10 minutes on the site.

We chose a suite because they are air-conditioned. They are very large, with a living room with a small refrigerator. The bathroom is equipped with a double bath, shower and bathroom, there is still a large surface. The room is also very pleasant. The deco is neutral but it is very good. A breakfast at €7 is widely worth the price. There is choice and quantity of salt and sugar. The hotel has a fast food for chickens, not a big gastronomy but it is quite relaxing. There is also a supermarket at the bottom of the hotel. Attention points: there are no hiding flats or cordials, so in June it is day in the room as early as 5 a.m. The suites are on the floor of the sauna. And the apartment with access to the terrace. On the terrace between 17:00 and 22:00, men are mostly naked in the sun. So it is not disturbing if you stay in the room or if nature does not disturb you. We remained compelled in the room.
