Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.

I had a very good sleep in this hotel. My room on 5th floor was facing the backyard of the Expo and Convention Centre, so the view was not even close to beautiful, but room was very quiet. Thanks to the efficient air conditioning, it was easy to get my room to cool enought for a good sleep. However, I would have preferred a softer bed and pillows. The room was clean and it had everything I needed for one night stay. Breakfast buffet was nice, nothing surprising though. The service was ok. As a Finn travelling in Finland I think the staff should be able to speak fluent Finnish, for example to to ensure the service level of elderly people. Unfortunately this wasn't the case with every customer service person in Holiday Inn, some spoke only a few words in Finnish or just didn't want to use the language. The location of the hotel is central and it's super easy to get to Tripla Mall or Pasila railway station.

-It is quite new and good in Europe. - You can arrive directly from the airport by train - The train station/subway/shopping mall/hotel are all in one building, which is very convenient - For 4-day accommodation, Ctrip sets its own price for 1-day accommodation; for 3-day accommodation, the company's price is 40% more expensive. Ctrip is really cheap this time

The minute we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted at the reception desk by Samuel, who efficiently checked us. He then kindly offered information about the hotel amenities and directions to Executive Lounge, the sauna, and where breakfast would be served. We enjoyed the delicious meals and relaxing sauna very much. My left leg started to hurt later and the next morning my husband and I decided it was time to get medical care. Again, it was Samuel to the rescue. He got us an appointment with a orthopedic specialist who spoke English for an hour and a half later! Samuel then got us a taxi and soon we were at the clinic. The Mehilainen Form Clinic (a medical provider with BCBS Global) provided exceptional service, and was super clean. After an exam by the orthopedic specialist, Dr. Tuomas, then a sonogram of the leg by Dr. Juhani, the condition was diagnosed and Rx ordered from a nearby pharmacy. Upon our return to the hotel, Samuel continued to show concern by offering a wheelchair and getting us a cab to the airport in a snowstorm. Citybox has been a fantastic catch, really unexpected! The hotel is easy to reach, close to metro and tram stops, and located in the trendy Kallio neighborhood, but also at walking distance from pretty everywhere tourists might desire to go. There's self-checking, but someone is presiding the office 24/7 - which might be handy. There's no breakfast, but there's an area equipped with fridge, toaster, tableware, sink that you can use. In the lobby, you can also find table tennis and co-working areas. The room was small, but sufficient. Clean. There's no daily room tidy-up. The price is definitely the added value. Very good price-quality ratio, I would have never expected. I would definitely stay at Citybox again, strongly recommended.

bless this hotel and its staff, my stay was a relaxing and peaceful as it can only be. windows to the inner yard, could even sleep with open windows, no street noise. Air conditioning in June is necessary, was working prop and adjustable. next to hotel is McDonalds and S_market, I recommend, which has lots of food stuff. botanic garden just across the canal literally 10 min walk, 20min walk to main station . thank you scandic hotel and see you next time!!👋👋

Stayed at this lovely hotel as part of our wedding anniversary in Helsinki. We had such a nice time. Excellent hotel, well located, lovely friendly helpful staff. Great room, good size on the eighth floor, room had an electric kettle, and a mini fridge which is always welcome. Large comfortable bed and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent, very tasty food, and drinks, a good amount of choice, I had a cheese omelette made to order on several days and it was delicious. Good bar at the hotel, nice to relax and have a glass of wine at the end of the evening. We don't normally eat evening meals at the hotels we stay in, but the food we saw did look lovely, so on our last evening we were hungry but did not want too much. So we both had the salmon soup as a starter each snd that was it. It was delicious. The menu was small, and that is in no way a criticism. I actually prefer that. There are two small super markets nearby for any essentials, we got fresh milk for cups of tea each morning before breakfast. We bought our own teabags from the UK! we are British after all! And bought chocolate and water at the supermarket. We walked every where from the hotel for what we wanted to do, but there are trams/buses right outside the hotel if required. Plenty of cafes and restaurants near by. Would recommend Kuu restaurant. My favourite restaurant during our stay. Although to be fair the food was amazing. I really liked the Finnish food. All in all we had such a lovely holiday and would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

If you are not used to eating cold food for breakfast, there is a microwave oven on the side and you can heat it by yourself. ; 4. One reminder: a) If you need to provide room cleaning and finishing services, you must hang the service tag on the door handle; 5. The hotel is in a good location, two stops from the central train station, with a water view. The hotel is an old hotel but the room has been newly renovated, which is quite satisfactory. The bathroom has a bathtub and the breakfast is rich. The air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted, and the air conditioning is a bit cold at night

This is a lovely hotel that recently had its grand opening. There are 4 separate buildings, two restaurants and two bars. We had a large deluxe room with lovely linens and towels and a 2 sink bathroom with a separate large bathtub, lighted makeup mirror,and glass enclosed stall shower. Excellent water pressure and good AC. There are lots of outlets both bedside and desk and in bath for all of your electronic devices and all lights, music etc. are controlled by a tablet device in the room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were in building 3 and there are a few steps to enter the buildings. The room also had a sofa for seating, safe, nice sized closet and a few drawers. The room is well lit. The breakfast buffet was good and eggs were made well. My husband had sent his laundry to the hotel laundry and whoever they used did not get stain out of his shirt but I did when we got home….so a wasted laundry bill. We also had lunch outside one day on the terrace and salad and sandwich were good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
