Michelle was fantastic when I walked in the door. Big smile and very welcoming. The lobby was clean and bright with the pool gleaming in the sun. The workout room caught my eye. My room was quiet and just so clean. Close to 20 restaurants. Easy off the freeway

I’ve stayed at this Courtyard before, and it was your average mid-budget Marriott property stay experience. This stay was kinda bad. But first, the positive aspects: - Short drive from the rental car center and airport - Convenjent location: in Henderson, but close to Vegas, *****, I-215/15, etc. - free parking - good staff, including Michelle at front desk - recently updated room, clean and comfortable; in line with newer Courtyards - Room A/C unit (floor-mounted) struggled with daytime heat (triple digits) but was still pretty cool (74°F) during the daytime heat and cooled a bit more (down to 70°F by early morning) during the night. Now, the bad parts: - A/C was off in all common areas, including lobby, bar/restaurant, elevator, and hallways. They’d rigged up two big flexible pipes to push cool air from a machine in a room off the lobby to cool that area, which at least made it feel a bit cooler. - The main (maybe sole working?) elevator was HOT, slow, and covered in construction cardboard. - My room was on the 3rd floor, and with no A/C in the hallway, it was hot (111°F daytime temp the day of my stay), which I think made it harder for the floor-mounted A/C to cool the room. - Mechanic checked the A/C unit in my room, which (as described above) wouldn’t fully cool the room during the day, but did so at night (if only b/c I had it on full fan and set to 69°F). - There was an odd persistent electrical burning smell in the hallway (and also slightly in my room, 331. All in all, a rather depressing and hot stay. I’m glad it was on points; I wouldn’t advise spending much money to stay here. The adjacent Residence Inn (RI) is much nicer, and the Vegas South/Airport RI is much nicer still (but usually much more expensive). -

This is the dirtiest hotel that I have ever stayed at. The grounds were filthy, used toilet paper rolls all over out side , trash all over, the building has stucco falling off. Our room was on the third floor and had just ben renovated but the TV didn't even work right we had to call twice to even get someone to come up and fix it. The screwed up our return reservation, I canceled the reservation and they charged me for the wrong dates. On our return trip back to Las Vegas I called for the shuttle and we were told it runs every 30 minutes, we got to the pickup spot right at 4:00 PM and waited until 5:00 PM. After calling and them telling us that the shuttle was there when it wasn't I finally got tired of sitting in 104 degree heat and had to pay $30.00 for a taxi. I just called about a refund for the room that we were charged for and never reserved and I was told by customer service that they would do an investigation which would take about 3 days before they could refund my money.

I am shocked at the number of positive reviews this hotel receives. First of all, the staff we interacted with were great. No issues there. But, our room wasn’t vacuumed, there were pieces of bark from a flowerbed on the arm of the couch, a drink lid on the floor and the bed wasn’t made properly. The bathroom, however, was the worst. I think someone actually shaved their back in there…and it wasn’t cleaned up. The fan on the AC was very loud, which was probably a blessing considering the proximity of the hotel to the airport. The faucet on the shower was broken, so it was impossible to get hot water. As someone else said, the hotel is older and showing its age…I can live with that, for the price, but it should still be clean. Luckily, the bed was comfortable.

As often as I travel I have never had this happen. Michelle smiled when I walked in the door and she handed me my key to my room. Woweeeeeee. Clean comfortable and easy to get off the freeway. 22 restaurants nearby and a Trader Joe’s 2 blocks away. Wonderful

I absolutely loved this stay. The hotel is older and showing its age, but the positives are many: - amazing staff. Truly exceptional. - great location. Restaurants, locals casinos, Ethel M. cactus garden all nearby. The casinos have good games and complimentary drinks were plentiful. - very clean rooms. Ask for a high floor with a view of the *****. It is neat seeing it in the distance. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. This was an "off the beaten path" Vegas vacatiom and it was perfect.

The staff was wonderful. It is the condition of the hotel that left a lot to be desired. Carpet in the hallway is stained. The room was clean and staff checked often to offer daily cleaning. The room's air conditioners seem to work periodically, bathroom caulking needs attention, and the elevators were not accessible. The hotel has two elevators but one was unavailable due to remodeling. The remaining working elevator was in disrepair leaving guest to use the stairway to exit the building with luggage. The room rate fluctuated during my stay. I arrived early on a Monday morning which was still considered Sunday for a rate of $119. During the week the room kept the same rate however Fri and Sat the rate increased by $40 each night. Conveniently close to the airport, two banks near by and a shopping center across the street. Local restaurants are nearby and Ethel M's chocolate factory is close as well. I don't recommend this hotel for a long stay but one or two nights with a consistent rate would not be bad.

This is a good hotel. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The room and hotel were very clean, and the hotel is located around a lot of restaurants and shops. The only issue I had with the hotel, was the lightening in the room. When the shades were closed, even with every light on, my room was very dark.

This was the worst stay I've ever had in a hotel, and I'm a retired military wife, so I've lived all over. If I could give a negative star I would. And I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a resolution. Manager never reached out. I'll list in order... 1. Requested an executive suite with a patio. *Did not receive suite or patio. Was not informed prior to check-in. Had to call to be informed that they had none. But you reserved me one. 2. Cold water in shower *Ended up taking a cold shower Thur night and Friday morning because NO hot water. 3. The bathroom flooded. * The shower curtain was too short, and the bathroom flooded with water each time we took a shower. 4. Refrigerator *It was so tiny it couldn't hold 4 bottles of water. Ended up buying a cooler. 5. Back Entrance Door *Door was broken and slammed all night long. 6. Dirty towels *Dirty towels were hung back in the bathroom. Had to call the front desk to request new complete sets. They only brought 2 towels. 7. Ice. *Had to walk to the other side of the hotel. See above...bought cooler.
