Handywater Cottages is a very special B&B with the most wonderful hosts. We have stayed several times and in our opinion it cannot be bettered. The cottage (Wisteria) is spotless, comfortable and has the additional patio and relaxing chairs/loungers to relax and have a nice drink. The outlook is stunning and the gardens pretty. Some of the fish in the pond are huge! If you want a special stay this is the place for it! Breakfast is very good and Natalie tries hard to ensure yours is private from other guests. Highly recommeded.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Wisteria room which has its own patio overlooking the orchard .A lovely place to stay . Delicious breakfasts . Secure gated parking. Great hosts .Just a short drive into Henley. Would highly recommend Handywater Cottage .

My partner and I have been visiting Handywater Cottages for several years now. Natalie and Ray provide the most welcoming and superb accommodation with delicious breakfasts. Ideally located only a short drive from Henley town centre and River Thames. This is a very hard act to follow!

Just back from a lovely 4 night stay at the Handywater B & B. The accommodation is spotless, has all the facilities you need and as we stayed in Wisteria, we had access to a patio, which we enjoyed as the weather we had was fantastic. Well located for Henley and local facilities (pub next door but we did not visit). Garden is lovely, views great and food excellent. The best thing for us was the hosts. You could not get a more helpful and friendly couple than Natalie and Ray. Happy to advise on where to eat/ visit locally and also can give you lifts (when they are available) if needed. They just made the whole stay such as pleasant experience. We will be back! Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Handywater and it was so convenient to take in a trip on the river at Henley. Natalie and Ray are perfect hosts and our room was lovely. The garden was delightful to sit in and watch the huge fish swimming in the pond. Natalie's breakfast was scrumptious with plenty of choice.

Stayed in a lovely room with a patio overlooking the orchard, perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the red kites flying around. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use which led to local bread and cheese to go with the wine. Natalie and Ray were welcoming hosts who ensured we had the perfect stay; this included lifts to and from Henley which were much appreciated. Breakfast was exceptional, good food well cooked and presented with numerous options. What more could you ask for!

Very relaxing setting with superb hosts. Our accommodation was first rate wonderfully put together room with plenty of thought gone into the detail. Ray and Natalie are lovely people where nothing is too much trouble and are great together both bringing their individual and joint character to the stay. I honestly would love to talk to them all day. Beautiful gardens and pond which just adds to the relaxation. Couldn’t recommend this property highly enough. Thank you.we have returned home very relaxed.

Handywater Cottage is by far the best B/B we have ever stayed in. Natalie and Ray gave us a warm welcome on our arrival providing iced-drinks on the hottest day of the year. Natalie then showed us to Lavender cottage which had everything and more that we required for our stay. There was even a beautifully equipped separate kitchen for guests to use . Breakfasts were excellent and l would rate our stars 15 out of 10 We shall certainly return. Merriel and Paul Gallifant.
