Petra Village

Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Swimming pool, sea views, bar and a mini supermarket just up the road. Friendly team working here. I’ll definitely return.

On arrival at Petra, we had to wait for about an hour as some of the rooms for our group had yet to be sorted. Spent that time at the bar and pool area. Accommodation is very basic but you spend your day at the pool or exploring the nearby towns so doesnt matter. It was too hot to sleep in the double bed upstairs as the room was like a greenhouse after a day in the sun (we were top floor). Aircon can only be used whilst you are inside the room with a keyfob to activate it, so it takes a while to cool down. Slept on the single beds downstairs no problem. Water for showers etc would sometimes cut out but i assume that was down to the entire complex all using them at the same time or something? Staff would quickly resolve the issue. Also the staff are really nice and welcoming, always with a smile. Food on site is very nice. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully next year. Yamas!

We stayed at Petra a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. OK the rooms are basic, and this time there were some power issues but the owners and staff are super friendly and made our stay extremely relaxing. Would go back in a heartbeat, the pool area is lovely and the bar cheap (and great bar food too!)

Exquisite and a MUST visit! However, more than one day is required due to the sheer amount that there is to see and the long walks involved! 😌🙏🏼 A true wonder of our world and a privilege to visit. We visited as part of a tour and cannot wait to return! Entry price correct as of May 2023 and in the ticket on my photo. Donkeys/horses/camels/stalls are VERY expensive so please be careful. 🙏🏼 I don't like how the animals are treated in countries like this so refuse to ride them but they are also around £100 for a short ride on a horse as 2 people that we traveled with paid this.

Well what can we say. We booked a cheap holiday just to get away for a week. After reading some if the reviews we where apprehensive. I wish I never read the reviews 😪. It's lovely. The rooms are clean and the team at Petra Village are just fantastic. 10 minute walk to the village for wonderful food and night life. We really do feel that we fell on our feet with this Hotel. True Greek Hospitality. Just love the place 😍

Being the first time here made little difference. Everyone was welcoming, staff and other guests as well. We found ourselves in a very convivial and friendly atmosphere with great value facilities in excellent upkeep for what is clearly a budget hotel. You do need to be prepared for the hill up to the apartments and the steps as well. However everything is exceptionally low cost and reasonable quality. The village centre ten minutes stroll, the nearest supermarket a shorter distance. Come with Euros for the bar and an open mind .. we were not disappointed.

This hotel is lovely. A typical family run Greek hotel with the best hospitality. Our room was big, clean, great view from the balcony. The pool area is excellent… wide open sunbathing area with loads of loungers . The bar snacks served all day were good especially the breakfast. We’ve booked with Vaso for September. It’s our 5th visit to the village and our 2nd stay at Petra… in all our years of many holidays, we’ve never returned to the same hotel but I feel drawn back here…

We visited Petra village with my family!The place was wonderful, the location very good(5 minutes driving from Hersonisos)!The rooms were very clean!!! The staff Vasilis and Vaso was very helpful and friendly and they made us feel like we were at our hope!!!

Best time ever. Vaso and the team are amazing. They’ll do anything to help. The rooms were very clean! Could not fault them. Comfortable, and good value for money (we paid for flights and hotel separately) Will be returning next year! Can’t wait to make more memories
