Always Great when we stay at Catterick. The staff and management are Very helpful it’s a great base to start . Because we walk all over and it’s easy to get to Richmond buy bus or taxi and of cause walking and the rooms are clean well stocked you can ask for a iron at reception if you need one.

Stayed one night in September. Car parking is a public car park but you couldn’t get any closer to the hotel. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed. We had the meal deal which was very nice, two course dinner and drink and then breakfast before we checked out.

We had a lovely one night stay at Catterick Garrison Premier Inn. A clean room with everything we needed, a comfy bed, air conditioning, friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast - what more could we want? Thank you to all the staff.

Very friendly staff, but the buzzer did not work initially, despite the light coming on, so need to make sure the buzzer works! Lovely kind staff.

Based on a previous post, I thought I would share our experience of this hotel. My wife, who is disabled and is a full-time wheelchair user, was told by other disabled people that Premier Inn offer accessible rooms and that they are very good. As she was attending a course in Leeds, we thought that we would stay in Yorkshire for a few days afterwards to visit our daughter whose house is not wheelchair accessible. The nearest Premier Inn was at Catterick Garrison. When booking via the website, it was not clear whether the hotel had a wet room or a lowered bath, my wife needs a wet room. I tried calling the hotel directly but it was never answered. I thus called the 'accessible' help-line and got through to a lovely lady who was able to confirm that the hotel did indeed have a wet room that was available for the dates we needed. I thus went online to book it at the end of May. I had to pay up front as my credit card expired before our visit, I also chose the flex rate as I could then cancel or amend by 1pm on the day of arrival if we needed to. Whilst my wife was on the course in Leeds I stayed with my daughter and decided to pop into the Catterick Garrison on the Tuesday before our visit, to check out its location/access etc. I was greeted by a pleasant duty manager called Danielle who was happy to show me the room (as it was unoccupied) and explained the fire procedures etc. I was sure that all would be well. On the Thursday my wife called me to tell me that she had a bed sore and had been advised to bed rest, missing the last full day of her course and meaning that we should ideally come straight up to Catterick rather than look round Leeds, grab lunnch etc.. She thought that she needed to vacate by midday and so I said that I would try to contact the hotel to see whether we could check in earlier. I called the hotel direct but once again it was not answered (I even hung on for 9 minutes until it cut me off). I thus called the central reservations line and explained the situation to a chap who told me that he could arrange early check in for £10 which would be taken from the credit card I used to pay. I naturally agreed to this and said that the earliest we could be there was midday. In the event my wife had to vacate by 10am in Leeds but we took our time to drive up to Catterick and parked up just after midday in one of the convenient disabled slots outside the hotel. My wife wheeled herself and I took one suitcase from the car and entered the hotel lobby. The first words from the lady behind the desk (whose name was June) was "you can't check in until 3pm".. not even a 'hello". I said that I had called the central number the previous day and was told that I could have early check in. June said "you can't have done, as you can only do it at the hotel". I said that I did try to get through to the hotel but the phone wasn't answered. I then said something like, "well that was a nice welcome" and June walked off saying that I had upset her and tha

We had booked and paid for a family room because of our 86yr old Mother with terminal cancer needed supervision at night, there were no children. On arrival the female receptionist could not understand our explanation for this as by all accounts you are only allowed 2 adults in the room under normal circumstances. A week prior we had also stayed at a Premier Inn Junction 42 M6 the staff there were exceptionally understanding and accommodating of our situation. The receptinist unbeknowing to us had pressed a hidden button summoning the duty Manageress ( June) who exploded through to the recption desk practically ignoring our explanation and chastised us for referring to the receptionist as 'she' when describing the conversation previously. Her manner was aggressive and confrontational in front of us and my elderly ill Mother! Not impressed with this at all. It requires some further training on how to deal with people and situations that may not always be 'the norm'. Needless to say we will not be staying there again.

Lovely stay at cattrick premier inn, staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. A shout out to Lee who was on reception and helping at the bar, went out of his way to find a large enough ice bucket to keep our son’s milk cold over night. Rooms were clean and comfortable and in a great location for shops and restaurants. Breakfast was lovely in the morning, however on arrival home we received an invoice staying the money for breakfast had been taken twice. Hopefully that will be returned in the coming days! However this didn’t damper our stay and we look forward to returning again!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights over a weekend and found the central location and free car parking a real positive. When we could speak to staff they were polite and tried to be helpful. The issue for us was that it was difficult to find a staff member when you needed one and their knowledge of the hotel and the way that it operated was very limited. This resulted in service quality issues which could not be remedied in the short term. The hotel itself was quiet and in a great location, but our impression of the visit was tainted by the low levels of staffing which made even the simplest query difficult to resolve.
