It was a trip to Tohoku, but I wanted to only sightseeing in ryuhizaki and Hirosaki City, so after visiting ryuhizaki, I looked for accommodation in Hirosaki city while taking lunch. I found this place close to downtown at an affordable price, so I made a reservation without confirming the word of mouth. The building and facilities are not new, but there is a feeling of cleanliness, the staff at the front desk was polite, and the free breakfast was delicious. The viewpoints of Hirosaki City are compact and the city has a satisfactory sightseeing using the rental cycle operated by the city.

It's a simple accommodation, so it's troublesome to write your name and address on the ledger every day even for consecutive nights. It was OK at all at a capsule hotel where you can stay cheaply if you travel alone. There was a space to sleep separately up and down, and I thought it was more noisy with the voice of the next person, but I didn't care so much. It was a private room for the time being. It's small. But the upper bed is not suitable for the elderly. It's hard to climb and I think it's dangerous to get off. No matter how many hours the parking lot was stopped, it was 1 100 yen a day. The sauna was also comfortable and it was a hot spring. I went for a drink at night, but there were many drinkers. There was a highball all-you-can-drink shop just behind the hotel, and I could drink a lot cheaply. The tonpei yaki at this store was excellent. It was the most delicious I've ever eaten. I was able to go from here to the Shirakami Mountains I was looking for in about 30 minutes, but the period I went was regulated and I couldn't go to the mother tree. It was to the visitor center in the foreground. You can go to the mother tree from the mountain trail, but it is difficult and not suitable for families with children. It is also close to the Iwakiyama trailhead. The royal road is to climb from Iwakiyama Shrine, but it is impossible for amateurs. It was a difficult steep slope because it was called Shugendo. You can drive to the 8th station, so it's better to go from there. The Shirakami Mountains were a World Heritage Site in the virgin beech forest, but visually it was not much different from ordinary mountains.

Go through the cold passage to the front desk and the souvenir shop to the dinner room. Aomori winery hotel also exhibited Takeda. I can't drink my wife, so I will have red and white wine of the service. Today, I don't need local sake. Viking. Scallops and steaks are baked. My wife is a seafood bowl. From 7:10, the performance of Tsugaru shamisen. Mr. Tsugaru shamisen. The world's second-largest master of Tsugaru shamisen. The pipeline was also a good live performance. It was 2-30 minutes but I enjoyed it until the end. It was good to have a bed in a large room. The bathroom, toilet and bath were the same room. The snow from last night is not stopped and is loaded on the car. It was porridge yesterday, so it is rice today. Big pumpkin. Corn soup was delicious. It's 10 o'clock, so I'll go back to my room and take a slow time. It seems to be cold outside.

The hotel is some distance away from Hirosaki Station. The taxi to Hirosaki Station is about 3000 yen. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Hirosaki Station at a fixed time. The hotel is Japanese style, but it feels that the heating is not enough. Features, there is an apple tree outside the hotel, and two apples will be served in the refrigerator in the room. The taste is good, sweet and free of scum. There are not many varieties of breakfast but the taste is OK. The waiters are very enthusiastic!

Fujiya Hotel is a Japanese-style Ryokan and located on Hirakawa River and has a bright, lively atmosphere. The guest rooms face to south. In the Rotenburo (open-air baths), guests can fully relax and enjoy the calm atmosphere of this historical area while listening to the sound of the river outside.

GGuest User 2021.09.27
It is recommended. Good value for money whether traveling alone, with family or with friends. It's a casual ryokan, but the staff are very friendly and the hospitality makes you feel at home. I couldn't eat all the cooked rice for dinner, and I couldn't drink the local sake, so when I tried to take it home, they prepared rice balls for rice and a small tray for sake. After making the bed, there were small flowers in the room. Most of the dishes are prepared on a tray, but the large amount will fill you up. Next time I would like to go to Hirosaki when the cherry blossom festival is held.

Very unique secluded oil lantern lit ryokan in the mountains of Aomori Prefecture. My second visit there - I absolutely loved the experience last year and decided to return. Unfortunately, half of the baths were closed due to flooding that destroyed the inn's suspension bridge across the Aoni River. Worse, they closed one of the remaining baths for cleaning prior to checkout time - without any advanced notification of the bath's closure. Disappointing - they should have considered leaving the remaining two baths open until checkout time - or at least advised at check-in time when the baths would be closed. Also, it would have been beneficial to reach out to guests ahead of time regarding the closure of the other two baths due to damage. Their website mentioned it in Japanese, but when I called I was told all the baths would be available for my early-September stay. Again, very disappointing considering the primary appeal Excellent rustic Japanese meals - both dinner and breakfast are included. Staff was friendly and accommodating besides the abovementioned issues. Sadly, unsure if I will return again.

GGuest UserReally clean, standard hostel with about 20 beds in a room and little boxed sleeping pods. There's a surprising amount of space in the sleeping spaces, with a bedside table and enough space for me to put my luggage. Ventilation was good even in the peak of summer and the beds were comfortable - full on futon blankets which I've never seen in a hostel. The bathrooms are unisex, with gender labelled individual shower booths. It's a shoes-off sleeping space. The pantry area is a bit small so don't expect to be cooking anything there, but there are washing facilities and free tea/coffee. Location is just a few minutes away from the station and the buses, and a 15 minute walk to the park. Not much restaurants around though, but I felt there weren't much dining options in the whole of Hirosaki.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in front of Hirosaki Station. Iwakiyama was visible from the window and the view was very good. But when I put hot water on the bus, my body hair and my lower hair floated, and I was disappointed with this. When I dropped the lee key and accidentally looked under the bed, it was full of dust. There is also dirt on the curtains, so I would like you to be careful about cleaning the room a little. The taste of the buffet was normal, but the restaurant felt a bit small. The attitude of the front desk staff was good, so I feel very disappointed.

GGuest UserThe public bath is on the 14th floor. There was a note to put the room key (the card key with the room number written down) in the clothes basket, because there is a risk of theft, so put it in the locker. There was a locker in front of the entrance of the bathroom, in the slipper place Mukai. I stayed two nights for breakfast, but it was good that there was a change. When you stay consecutive nights or when you go out, please return the room key to the front desk once. It was a very convenient item for sightseeing and traveling by train while leaving luggage right across from the station. For sightseeing, we recommend taking the 100-yen bus from the station. We also recommend renting a bicycle from the tourist association at the station.

QQIBecause it is the cherry blossom season, the price is super expensive. The hotel is just a business hotel, the facilities are average, the breakfast is good, but the location is very good. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to Hirosaki Park, so we easily went to the park several times. There is a big department store nearby, a variety of food and beverage outlets, and several churches. On Sunday, we attended the worship of the Hirosaki Church and were quite moved. The cherry blossoms at Hirosaki Park are so beautiful. Thank God for the wonderful weather given the next day. I recommend everyone to go to Hirosaki once in a lifetime to see the cherry blossoms, too amazing feeling!

GGuest UserIt is a leisure facility in the suburbs of Hirosaki city. There are hotels and cottages to stay. We stayed in a Japanese room with 2 meals for 1 nights. It was a quiet place surrounded by nature, and we enjoyed the meal and the hot spring. I would like to visit the Observatory if I have the next opportunity.

GGuest UserI used a super hotel to see the Hirosaki Sakura Festival. During the Sakura Festival season, we were able to stay at a relatively reasonable price while all the hotels in the surrounding area were raising prices. It is a so-called business, but there is a large communal bath. (Although it is small). The rooms are not large, but WiFi is also complete and I wasn't so dissatisfied. There is also a free breakfast buffet. (The menu is small) Free drink service from the evening is good. No way even alcohol. Super hotel is also used, but I think it is stable with only chains.

Uudagawa_6During the cherry blossom festival, and it was the first day of the consecutive holiday, so I think it is the highest time, but I was surprised at the price of over 16000 yen in twin. It's strong. However, if you go to the cherry blossom festival, it was convenient anyway because it was close to resting and returning to bed. It was a facility that felt high even at 5000 yen if it was normal time. Then, I wonder if I can only leave my luggage until 12 o'clock in the day of check-out. At this accommodation price! ? seriously! ? After all, I couldn't go to take my luggage at 12 o'clock, but I didn't say anything because it was. Then what was the morning question and answer ... I should keep it well and pay after 12 o'clock (I think it's okay).

SScenic811351It is a little far from the station if you are walking, but it is not a distance that you can't walk. This time I used the dynamic package, but it seems that there is a cheap plan sometimes. Although the number of breakfasts is small, there were specialty products such as squid, scallop miso, and shrimp soup, and there were apples. The venue is not very large, so I think it is good to use the first (6:30) in the morning.
