For the price, you can’t beat it. This hotel is a distance away from district 1 but that’s exactly why I wanted to stay here. It’s nowhere near as busy and it has all the amenities you’d expect from a nice hotel. It has an awesome gym with decent equipment, a great view of the city with a rooftop pool, and best of all it’s very affordable. I recommend to anyone who is staying in Ho Chi Minh City.

A very good hotel. The hotel is located in the Korean area. It has a more lively atmosphere. The surrounding environment is relatively clean and comfortable, and life is convenient. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel environment is comfortable, the front desk service is attentive, and you can choose a different breakfast with local characteristics every day. Highly recommended!

Merperla is an ideal choice for a business traveler or rather for someone specifically in Ho Chi Minh to attend an exhibition at the Saigon Convention Center. Its located in District 7 and the city comes alive around District 1. So if you are visiting HCM for business meetings or tourists, look for accommodation in District 1 or around. Merperla, however, is located minutes from the Convention Center and is a lovely hotel to stay in. Make sure you ask for rooms on the top floor facing the convention center for a lovely view. Rooms are spacious, equipped with all basic amenities to ensure your comfort. The hotel also offers in-room dining facilities and serves some decent choice of dishes. The would have only a dish or two if you are a vegetarian, however otherwise, a good menu to choose from. Portions and quality of the food - really good. The hotel also serves a good breakfast. The staff is friendly, accommodative and cooperative. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the exhibition center almost every 20-30 minutes and immediately if you make a decent request to the staff. Make sure you book early to grab a good deal, otherwise the hotel is a little expensive (but worth it) compared to other good & limited stay options around the convention center. To sum it all, I had a comfortable and a really memorable stay at the hotel.

Hotel was decent, in a mixed Korean and vietnamese area. Everything was great except my room with no windows had a window by the door leading to the elevator and was the only room with it. Anytime someone walks by the hall lights turned on 2 levels of brightness waking me up. They should really get rid of that window or block it. Other than that. Decent stay for the dollar.

The hotel room is good for the price. I would come back with pleasure. I am writing this review to compliment Mr. Autumn who provided an excellent service from the check-in to the everyday needs (with a very nice English). Thank you for your energy, and good vibes. It was very much appreciated and noticed.

Very close to Ho Chi Minh Exhibition and Convention Center, 5 minutes drive by Grab. Quiet upscale neighborhood, the landlord is very nice, and gave us free mini bar and red wine. Two-bedroom apartment with a living room, highly recommended for business travel in District 7!

This is a good accommodation for business travelers. Located in the middle of Phu My Hung, it is easy to go to Korean restaurants and various entertainment venues.

My stay at Golden Star Hotel was delightful. Although there was no breakfast provided, I discovered a fantastic restaurant nearby. The internet connection was excellent, allowing me to stay connected and productive throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of travel. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met during my one-night stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Golden Star Hotel and would recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation option.

I came to Vietnam to participate in an exhibition with my colleagues, and they chose the hotel. The overall style is a bit retro, and you can order drinks at the bar downstairs at any time☕. The room size cannot be compared with that in China. It is relatively small and the bed is also very small.
