Everything about this hotel is so perfect: location, room size, cleanness, service. Our experience with previous accommodations in Vietnam was even if everything looks ok at first glance, something will end up not working. Here we saw none of that. Shower was always having warm water, mattresses were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, location couldn’t be more central but also very quiet at the same time since it’s hidden in a side street. We extended our stay, and the host not only allowed us to keep the room until the evening bus (without charging a penny) but also packed us goodie bags for the night trip. You won’t go wrong if booking with Victoria hotel. Highly recommended and definitely staying here again when in town. Thank you most amazing hosts!

Rates as a 2 star but not sure how. From the warm welcome by amazing host Ms Hue to the care package of water and fresh pineapple for our journey upon leaving we were treated to perfect service our whole stay. The rooms are spacious enough, clean and comfortable. They have a fridge, large tv, fan and aircon and a safe. The pool is fantastic, and there are also bikes and scooters to hire. Massage in your room costs only 200k and we experienced some of the best massages we’ve had. Highly recommended

The hosts were very lovely and hospitable - they were even kind enough to help us with a late check-out since we have a sleeper train booked. Beautiful views, sweet dogs and kittens, free bikes and cheap motorcycle rental. Great location one minute from the center of town. Couldn’t have asked for more. Many thanks!

We stayed in this homestay for 3 nights in January. Upon arrival the hosts were welcoming and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The room was well sized with good ammenities. However, the room got quite cold during the night and the AC does not have a heat setting. They supply you with a small heater but this was not really enough. Suggest including some warmer blankets during winter. We also found the hot water does not last very long so it’s very hard to warm up after a day of scootering in the cold wind. There were also some animals living in our wall so was hard to sleep. The food was good and the ammenities of the place were good too - free bikes and scooters are cheap. They offer laundry and bus booking services too. There are cute kittens that hang around and the general area is nice. The homestay is well located close to Mua Cave and a scooter ride from everything else. Be aware it is very rural and you may see some shocking things around the area that are unrelated to this accomodation (think family violence, dead animals, etc). Overall, good budget accomodation but wouldn’t suggest staying in winter.

If you are looking for the best host and unforgettable view and huuuuge cozy room, you should stay here! The accomodation was clean, the breakfast (pancakes) was nice, but I am mainly writing this review because of the friendly service! The Host: Julia has a wonderful smile on her face whenever you met her. She is so helpful and friendly - it was a pleasure staying there! We also had the chance to rent a motorcycle from her - it was uncomplicated, fun and had a reasonable pricing.

What a great experience for the price we paid! The hosts were always at our service and ready to assist with any request. Once, we had an issue with an inland flight, and the gentleman at the reception promptly made a call to the airport, resolving the problem for us in Vietnamese! The property is incredibly clean and offers a fantastic pool with comfortable loungers, a billiard table, complimentary bicycles, affordable scooter rentals, and an excellent restaurant! During our stay, my girlfriend and I occupied a double room (Room 10) on the top floor. The room couldn't have been better! It was consistently clean! If you're looking for exceptional value for your money, there's no better choice in Ninh Binh than this accommodation! Thank you for the lovely time; we would definitely book again!

On that note, the kind souls here noticed our hefty bags and graciously upgraded our room, a gesture we deeply appreciated. Our sole regret? Not having booked a longer stay. We can't stress enough how two days, at the very least, would do justice to the experience here. And if you're considering a journey to Halong Bay, they've got you covered too. They seamlessly arranged a luxurious limousine van for us, which conveniently picked us up right at the hotel's doorstep. Oh, and don’t miss out on the bicycles they provide – it’s the perfect way to explore Ninh Binh’s beauty. In a nutshell, if you're seeking an authentic Vietnamese experience with a touch of home, Trang An Village Homestay is the place to be. Highly recommended!
