The sanitation is good, and the facilities are preserved in the style of the late 19th century. Although old, they are still interesting and the sanitation is good. There are only three floors in total, and there is no elevator. A charming historic landmark right on Macquarie Street- close to all landmark interests. I got upgraded to room 6 which was quite comfortable in size. Bed was comfy and nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- and included with my booking. Holly and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I went on a Bruny Tour - pickup nearby and saw the albino wallabies!

The room provided by this hotel was so bad. The toilet in the room was connected to the room, so I couldn't use the toilet in the middle of the night, otherwise the loud pumping sound would disturb my sleep.
