Das Hotel liegt perfekt zentral gelegen, nur ein paar Schritte vom Hafen entfernt und umringt von guten Restaurants. Am Vortag kontaktierte mich der Besitzer, um ein paar Eckpunkte abzustimmen, wie benötigter Parkplatz oder Möglichkeit seine Koffer bei der Ankunft auszuladen. Beim Einchecken wurde uns ein, für unsere Bedürfnisse, geeigneteres Zimmer gegeben und der Besitzer kümmerte auch gleich um ein wunderbares Restaurant, als er erfuhr, dass wir einen Geburtstag zu feiern hatten. Am nächsten Morgen ging es genauso kundenfreundlich und sympathisch weiter. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls klasse. Der Lärmentfindliche sollte allerdings nicht im Erdgeschoss unterkommen.

L'Absinthe Hotel is a great choice in Honfleur. It's located right on the harbour in a fantastic location. Offsite parking is provided which is just a short walk away. The hotel itself is charming, full of historical features in the newly renovated 17th century building. The original feel has been maintained giving a magical and comfy atmosphere. The hosts are very friendly and couldn't have done enough to help us settle in and make the most of our short stay in this lovely town. They provided great suggestions for dinner and a walking tour. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and a visit to this gorgeous little town.

We are spending our second night at L’Absinth Hotel. I cannot say enough about the staff/owners willingness to help, guide and ensure our stay here is an excellent experience. Hotel L’Absinth is a treasure. We will highly recommend. Hope to return one day soon.

This is one of our favourite French hotels, set near the key side; a cozy, relaxed atmosphere that is as welcoming as are the young hosts. In winter there is a warming fire with settees, which we experienced on our first visit. This time, in summer the reception area is cool and inviting, the welcome warm. We are shown to our huge , well furnished room, full of thoughtful touches, such as a separate sheet on the bed, soft pillows, finest towels and toiletries. At every step you are comforted to know that these people really care. Look at the expensive , beautifully decorated crockery ! And the bonus is that you are in wonderful Honfleur as well.

Aside from the hotel being centrally located, it has gorgeous rooms (we had suite 7) and a lovely breakfast with great quality ingredients. As if this wasn’t enough to guarantee a wonderful stay, the hotel’s staff cannot be praised enough. On arrival, the lady at reception went out into the street where she’d seen us wandering around and wondering where reception was. She was extremely kind and attentive. Then one evening, when it looked like rain, her colleague on duty gave me his own umbrella so I wouldn’t get wet. And one breakfast morning, when I’d inadvertently asked for a different kind of produce to what I normally had, the very lovely man on duty in the morning came out specially to verify if I wouldn’t rather have what I normally ordered. Little things maybe, but something way over and above what you get even in the best hotels. We can’t wait to be back! P.S. And many thanks to all the staff for letting me torture them with my French :)

Hotel davvero caratteristico in un edificio storico nel centro di Honfleur, dispone di un parcheggio privato a pagamento a pochi metri di distanza. Colazione eccellente con prodotti locali di primissima qualità. Personale molto attento e disponibile. Suite familiare davvero bella.

Petite sortie comme un week-end mais en semaine et nous ne regrettons pas du tout ce choix, nous remercions beaucoup Alazaïs pour cet accueil chaleureux et de nous avoir surclassé, la chambre était parfaite, grande et très propre. Un bon petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux. Elle nous a aussi conseillé quand au restaurant du soir et même fait la réservation pour nous et de nouveau rien à dire sur ce choix qui était plus que parfait, alors merci à vous et ne changez rien!!! Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel avec un bon emplacement et une très belle vue

Sul molo, camera al primo piano con vista mare. Temevamo il rumore ma infissi perfetti non hanno fatto passare nulla. Aria condizionata non invasiva e letto confortevole hanno agevolato lunghe dormite. Posizione ottima. Camera non grande ma c’era tutto. Bagno confortevole ed attenzione per il cliente. Bravi bravi

What a wonderful hotel and staff. They were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and charming and the location is great. The restaurant we had planned to go was closed so Victor recommended L’Escale next door. Breakfast was a treat with all local products. Highly recommended if you visit Honfleur.
