Smelly old Motel, No Aircon and breakfast was terrible. Pool was the hottest we found and the Jacuzzi worked well.

If you or your kids have asthma maybe look elsewhere as the caretakers smoke in their suite causing the hotel to smoke.

Property is severely showing its age both inside and out and the person at the front desk was the picture of surly. There are a couple of much nicer motels just up the street that were a little less and much better. Avoid this place

The room was clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. The pool was awesome. Good parking. Good AC. Good TV. Good fridge and stove. Pleasant 2 night stay. Ice machine and pop machine. Front staff turned on AC prior to our arrival. The temperature was 37C.

People that run and stay in the place smoke and the whole lobby filled with smoke. They told me the entire place is no smoking EXCEPT for their suite LOL Rooms were outdated and old, ant trap in the bathroom and the staff was quite rude during check in, 2 star at most but charge like a 3 or even 4 star

We had a great room, clean, comfortable. The staff at the front desk, one younger woman, one older, both were extremely pleasant and helpful! The cleaning staff were also very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again

The most outdated place I’ve ever stayed. The room looked straight out of the 1930s. It would be extremely harsh on my Nan to compare it to her house. The bathroom was ancient and the minuscule kitchenette was even older. The hot tub was way too hot to did a toe in. The owner was horribly rude to all people despite her staff being nice. Breakfast was underwhelming to say the least. The only upside was the brewery a minutes walk away both providing lovely service and food and a getaway from the hotel

good place to stay for a couple days while working in town. I think it is being renovated and should be nicer soon. It is right on the highway but you cant hear the traffic. Food and grocery shopping is close bye too.

If you want to know what a hotel looked like in the 70s, stay at the Travelodge in Hope. Fortunately we were only staying for one night en route to Vancouver. The hotel lobby and hallway stank of smoke, which is ironic when every sign possible warns against smoking or you’ll get a hefty fine. There were a heap of other rules posted up on each door on the hotel. The pool was its only good feature and was enjoyed by the kids. It was so warm in there. Sadly the hot tub was even warmer, it was unusable as the water was too hot. The room was outdated with a tiny bathroom, and an even smaller kitchenette. There was one plate and no cutlery in the kitchenette! The pool closes at 8.30pm and doesn’t open until 10am the next day, so no early morning swim. Meanwhile, the “continental breakfast” doesn’t start until 9.30am, not ideal if you’re up and out early. We managed to pack up the car and then wait for breakfast to begin - I’m glad we did as there wasn’t a huge selection and it was looking bare as we left (family of four). The only other plus side was it’s right next door to the Mountain View Brewery, which is where we ate the night we stayed as the kitchenette was so shabby. Do check out the brewery! But give this hotel - their rude/grumpy front desk lady (the older of the two ladies) - a swerve. There must be better in Hope.
