Stayed here the bank Holiday weekend. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. However we waited in a queue for 20mins for a table in the enclosure bar. Having been seated and given our order we waited 45mins for our mains. When the food came it was dry and very disappointing. Breakfast was no better tasted like it had been cooked and left sit for a while.

Exceptional all round experience. Stayed one night. Food and service outstanding. Room spotlessly clean with lovely decor. Beds extremely comfortable. Swimming pool and spa fantastic. Staff extremely friendly. Very accessible off M8. Will definitely be back.

En positif : - WiFi OK - Piscine - Spa - Bouteille d'eau offertes (eau plate et eau pétillante) - Bon dîner dans le restaurant sur place - Café/thé/bouilloire - Petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux mis en avant En négatif : - On entend trop les autres chambres et l'extérieur : problème d'isolation phonique à la fois extérieure et intérieure. En neutre : - Grand parking mais il peut y avoir beaucoup de monde car cela fait aussi centre d'affaires/conférences et même salle de spectacles. - La salle du petit-déjeuner est assez petite pour un hôtel de cette taille. - La salle du restaurant est plus grande mais cela peut être vite complet aussi car certaines personnes peuvent venir aussi de l'extérieur sans loger à l'hôtel. - Il y a une entrée devant et une entrée derrière. On vous guide plutôt vers l'arrière quand vous êtes à l'hôtel mais vous pouvez tout à fait vous garer devant et vous serez bien plus rapidement à la réception.

Went for a meal with my mother here at the start of June, we both got the steak sandwich and chips, they were delicious! Unfortunately I left my wallet behind me when we left, I was searching for it for ages. However relief came quick with a message for a worker in the Hotel! Louise contacted me asking if I had lost my wallet and if so, they had it in safe hands! I was delighted and two days later it was returned to me safely. I offered a reward but Louise honorably declined, what a legend! This hotel truly cares about their customers, evident by the great lengths Louise and Connie went through here!

Loved my very spacious bedroom which was spotlessly clean. Had safe, fridge, and usual facilities. Shower was amazing but could benefit from hand rail. Bed was so comfortable. No air conditioning so May want to consider ceiling fans or having portable fans in Rooms. Wasn’t impressed with food. Would stay there again.

We stayed at the horse and jockey for one night. It exceeded our expectations. Our bedroom was beautiful with a gorgeous bathroom. My only criticism was we ordered a taxi to take us for dinner we had to chase it a couple of times and finally arrived 25 minutes late. Luckily we were only travelling 10 minutes so didn't miss our dinner reservation. I didn't like the bedsheets but I think that was personal taste. The service in the bar was slow. Breakfast was very good so we would stay there again. Lovely!

15 min queue. Then ordered food, server threw 3 sets of cutlery 🍴 in the middle of the table. Then the wait began. The table beside us who were seated at the same time had their coffee and dessert before we got a main. A number of other tables who were seated after us were also served before us despite us reminding the servers. Food when it did arrive an hour later was disappointing poor quality and even raw.
