Hangzhou Hostels

I stayed here for two days from July 4th. As a Japanese woman in my 30s who was generally looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, please see the following impressions. The location is very good. There is a public bus stop right in front of the hotel, and there are several bus stops for other routes within a 5-minute walk. If you are going to visit the West Lake Scenic Area, it is very convenient to use the bus, so the location of the hotel is very good. In particular, it is about an 8-minute walk to the West Lake, so you can enjoy the West Lake from early in the morning until late at night. Actually, when I told them about my stay, I arrived at the hotel a little earlier than the check-in time, but the room was ready, so I was able to leave my luggage there. I was also able to complete the check-in procedure. The owner of the hotel helped me with the app when he found out that my Chinese was halting. When foreigners stay in some countries, they are required to register with the police, but when I told him that I had never ridden an electric motorcycle, the owner of the hotel let me ride on the back of his motorcycle and went to the police station with him. The owner and another woman work at the inn, and they were really supportive of laundry, water server, and room cleaning during my stay. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The maximum temperature was 39 degrees every day during my stay, so it was a relief to return to a room that was well cooled by the air conditioner. The shower booth was really small, but the water pressure and temperature of the shower were just right, so I was able to stay comfortably. My room was on the main road, but thanks to the comfortable room environment, I was able to sleep well, although the traffic noise was a bit bothersome. There was also a row of large plane trees along the main road, and the sunlight filtering through the trees in the morning was beautiful. For people like me who are looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, this inn is perfect. This time I stayed in the summer, so I would like to visit in the winter next time. Of course, I will definitely stay at this inn next time. The owner's true enthusiasm for entertaining me was so strong. I'm so excited. I want to go to your trip to blue again.

Check-in staff and in house staff were really patient, respectful, and helpful. Asked them for direction and they kindly searched for it. This is a dormitory style homestay with shared room and bathroom. We stay in a private room with a private bathroom and toilet.Has hot water with good pressure. Non smoking room. Room is clean but mattress is really old and should be replaced. The tatami layout is nice with a simple sitting area.Recommend for owner to install more clothes hanging hooks for convenience. No tv in room. They have a large common area with regular and hot water dispenser. Many table and chairs for use. Location is far from city centre but within 10km by metro. Same distance to the west lake

This place is okay but I had slightly higher expectations to be honest. Cleanliness is alright, they give you a bag with a small towel upon request, both to be returned. Has free water dispensers, toiletries and a microwave. Common areas don't have a vibe but you can prepare and have your food and play video games as everyone else. The biggest common area is to the right side of the reception, which, as per usual, they don't tell you. There is that Olympic Stadium nearby, but the city center is actually on the other side of the river. From here you will either need to take public transportation or a cab to West Lake or other interesting parts of town. Walking to the light show on the other side of the river bank took more than 1.5 hrs and it is not supposed to be walked. There are no useful signs on the building but the way to get here is to use the ”hotel entrance” and use the single elevator straight ahead. Do not turn right to use the elevators in the elevator room. If you do, only the very right one brings you to the 5th floor where you will check in. Very confusing and no signs to help you. It also might take a bit until the right elevator arrives. The shoe rack was inside the room, which resulted in a very smelly room. Guitar with old strings, barely playable. If I came back, I'd rather try out another place.

The front desk staff were incredibly patient and gentle, just absolutely wonderful! 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Choosing this hostel for my trip was definitely the right decision; the overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied. The location is excellent, not far from the subway station and tourist attractions, making it very convenient for getting around and finding food. It's also easy to locate. The hostel itself is clean and cozy, with public areas that are simply and comfortably furnished, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Everything is thoroughly cleaned, the beds are tidy, and there's plenty of storage space. The bathroom areas are dry-wet separated and impeccably clean, with no unpleasant odors. The staff are warm, friendly, and approachable, always patiently answering any questions. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers!

Close to the station, more convenient

I stayed at this hostel during my backpacking trip, and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy and welcoming. The common lounge is beautifully decorated – a great spot to read or swap travel stories with fellow travelers from around the world. The cleanliness was impeccable; even often-overlooked spots like corners and shelves were spotless. It's super convenient for transport, with taxis, bus stops, and the metro all nearby. The owner was really helpful with all my travel questions, and the price is budget-friendly. Perfect for young solo travelers!

I chose this youth hostel for my job interviews in Hangzhou, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The location is super convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to both the subway station and a snack street, making it easy to get around and find food. They have separate floors for men and women, and there are surveillance cameras in the hallways, so I felt very safe staying alone. Each bed has a blackout curtain, a charging port, and a lockable locker, providing plenty of privacy once the curtain is drawn. The bathroom is a wet/dry separation, with 24-hour hot water, and the room has air conditioning, keeping it cool. The cleaning staff tidies up regularly, so there was no dampness or strange odors. The bedding is changed for every new guest, and the room is well-ventilated and dry, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner is really friendly and patiently helped with directions and luggage storage. The other guests were considerate, keeping quiet at night so as not to disturb anyone's rest. The price is budget-friendly, allowing you to stay cleanly and safely without spending much. It was perfect for resting up after a busy day. It offers great value for money and is ideal for temporary stays while job hunting. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

The hotel is extremely disappointed. They have a very strange policy of visiting guests, namely a total ban on visiting a room without passport registration (which requires extra payment). My friend wanted to help me to get things in the room and the staff allowed her to come to us for only 15 minutes. After that we watched as other guests the staff refused to skip the guests (they friends wanted to help carry things). I had bronchial asthma and I was extremely displeased with the fact that the room and bedroom were smoked. I had several asthma attacks at night and I couldn't sleep well.

The hostel is on the fifth floor of the building, very close to the subway station. The public area is large. If you want to be quiet, there is also a study room, washing machines and drying areas. There is a restaurant downstairs.

Located in the West Lake Scenic Area, close to Tiger Run. The public area is quite large, with a courtyard.
