commuter123This was an unplanned, last-minute trip to Barcelona; I booked the flight just over three hours before departure. Hotels in Barcelona aren't cheap, and after walking all day, I really just needed a place to crash. It felt like a waste for one person, but it was my first time staying in a hostel. The environment, cleanliness, and location were all pretty good. The people were from all over – a Filipino-American, a Korean pastry chef who broke her arm and had to rest for six months, and exchange students from China. It was a memorable experience. The hostel is about a fifteen-minute walk from the airport bus stop. The entrance is tiny, and you have to ring the doorbell. Not far across the street, there's a good Chinese hotpot buffet, I think for 29 Euros. The sunset at Bunkers del Carmel and the sunrise at the beach are both worth seeing. Don't forget to try the churros with chocolate!

The service was very good. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They recommended tourist attractions and restaurants to me and cared about me as a traveler. They also had a pleasant chat with us. However, the room was very poor. There were about three rooms with 12 people sharing one bathroom and toilet. The quality of the roommates was average. The bed was very hard. There was a strange smell in the room. I didn't sleep well all night.

Myra B TablanteI stayed at Yeah Hostel for 3 nights. There were several high points, but also some significant drawbacks that made the experience bittersweet.
Service & Staffs -The receptionists were very accommodating and helpful. However, I noticed a clear difference with the other staff members; many didn’t seem happy working there and weren't as friendly or welcoming as the front desk team.
The Incident - Living in a hostel always carries a risk. Unfortunately, I lost cash inside my room during my stay. While the hostel acknowledged the situation, they couldn't conduct an investigation because there is no CCTV in the private sleeping areas—which is understandable for privacy, but still very frustrating.
Facilities - The rooms are spacious, and the lockers are large enough to fit a big piece of luggage. It’s a peaceful place to stay despite being a hostel.
Location - This is the hostel’s best feature. It’s walking distance to Sagrada Família and other major tourist spots. There are plenty of resto-bars, convenience stores, and easy access to both bus stops and the metro.
A great spot for convenience and comfort, but you must be extremely careful with your cash and valuables, as you never know who you are sharing a room with.

I recently stayed in a bed space at TOC Hostel in Barcelona, and unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable. The pillow provided was quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the electric socket near my bed was not working, which was inconvenient for charging devices.
Another issue was the noise level. Both during the night and throughout the day, the environment was quite loud, making it hard to rest properly. It doesn’t feel like a suitable place for anyone who is sensitive to noise or values a quiet atmosphere.
Overall, I would not recommend this hostel, especially for those who have trouble sleeping in noisy environments.

This was a truly wonderful place to stay! I accidentally left something behind at the hotel, but they were incredibly kind and helpful, keeping it safe for two days and even arranging for DHL pickup. They also offered laundry service for an additional fee (they mentioned having an 8kg washing machine). I do agree that there's room for improvement with the locks. However, the staff were lovely, and my roommates were all very kind and quiet. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

Guest UserDidn't felt welcomed. The room was not provided at the checkin time and was given a dialogue that checkin starts from 2 which does not mean you will get room at 2. During evening when I asked the member at reception about the ac, because I didnt spoke their language both of the guys at reception started laughing. Worst experience at the hostel.

CHOW LONG HANGThere is thief in this hostel!
I almost lost my phone but luckily the police find it, it is hide somewhere else in the hostel, but there is no direct evidence to charge that suspect, all the hostel can do is to kick him out. Another Korean women are that lucky as the police couldn’t find her phone at last.
The staff are really helpful when dealing with this issue and I really appreciate that. The staff did warn all guest to be careful for their own things and make sure to lock all of them in the locker the night before. The owner of the hostel also offer me help immediately during the whole process. Thank you again.
About this hostel, the location is really convenient and with a fair price in the city centre. The kitchen is a bit small but it is acceptable. The shower room is okay for me and the shower room is clean in general.
However, for the bed-set & towel you will have to pay 3 euro for it. Else, you can only sleep with a pillow with no bedsheet during your stay. If you pay card & the amount is less than 120 euro, they will charge extra 5% fee. So you better have some cash.
Like all the other hostel, you should be aware of your own valuables and lock them up in the locker.
Overall, I would recommend this hostel despite the sad incident happen on me.

We recently stayed in a 4-bunk room at this hostel for two nights. Overall, the experience was decent, though there were a few notable drawbacks.
Pros:-
The locker and bed facilities were excellent, spacious, secure, and more than adequate for four guests.
The general service was acceptable, with staff being reasonably responsive and helpful.
Cons:-
The shower was a major issue. Despite adjusting the temperature lever, it often only produced hot water, which was uncomfortable and frustrating.
The air conditioning was inconsistent and, at times, ineffective. In a humid climate, this made the room feel unbearably hot.
Unfortunately, opening the window isn’t an option, as it’s linked to the air conditioning system and automatically shuts off when the window is opened.
Summary:-
While the sleeping arrangements and security features were commendable, the poor shower and unreliable air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. These are essential amenities, especially in a humid environment, and I hope the hostel addresses them soon.

Great location if you know where are you are going. I got one of the pods with a door and it is quite comfortable, but it might get too hot in Summer. It was hot on my first night despite being winter out there. Bathroom could be cleaner, although they appeared to clean it every day (fixtures are old and not well maintained). Staff was nice! Will be coming back!

Guest UserThe place is clean but the lady in the reception with specs is sarcastic. She expect people to understand her. While she was talking so rude the other guy was laughing. better dont get this kind of people as it will ruin your reputation as you are running a service related business. And sometimes you wont know how a customer can help the business gain good eyeballs.
