"I stayed there for 3 nights. The place is a good value for money at a strategic location. The grungy feel doesn't make it seem that it looks dirty. However the staff is strict on timing. Checkout is at 11AM and they will Whatsapp you and make sure you have confirmation by knocking at your door by 10:30AM."

"The capsules are clean and modern, so are the toilets and showers, however the rest of facilities are a little old.
The staff is kind, the location is the old town which is an interesting place to visit but I personally would have preferred to stay downtown, however you can take a bus or metro and get there in around 20 minutes.
I was here for over a week so in the end it's a little bit uncomfortable to stay in such small place with all my stuff (one large and one small backpack) but for a few days or with less luggage it's okay. I'd have gotten the double one if I wasn't on a budget."

"Had a short staycation here. Overall it was okay, but a few things to note:
First, the location pin on Google Maps was a bit off, so we had a hard time finding the place at first.
When we got into the room, the AC wasn’t cooling at all. We called the staff, and they came pretty quickly to fix it. After they adjusted the settings, the AC got a little better, but honestly, it still wasn’t super cold — just so-so.
Other than that, everything else was fine. Staff was helpful, and the stay was quite pleasant overall."

"with that price so far ok. just please change the bedsheet, it's already hairy. if staying overnight it's still ok but if for a long stay with hairy bedsheet it's not comfortable."

flyingyoungThe value for money is decent, after all, it's a youth hostel, so you can't expect too much. The advantage is that it's completely partitioned, offering privacy. The downside might be that the ventilation is a bit poor, but it's enough for a one-night stay.

Guest UserOverall, my stay at Bobopod Tanah Abang was good. The location is decent, close to some shops and food options, though public transportation isn’t the most convenient from here. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
However, the bathroom area could use some improvement — it’s quite small and feels a bit older compared to other Bobopods I’ve stayed at in Indonesia. Also, one of the toilets area was constantly closed, which made it slightly inconvenient at times.
Still, it’s a good and affordable option for a short stay in Jakarta, especially if you don’t mind walking a bit to reach public transport.

tomorrow AAlthough it might be the user's fault, the toilet was dirty and the toilet paper wasn't refilled much. The futuristic design where you manage the room and safe locks with an app is cool, but it's a hassle to always have to carry your phone just to go to the toilet or refill your water.

勇恩The location was pretty convenience as it as just beside the train station and the transportation hub. The hygiene in the hotel is pretty clean but not the street outside of the hotel. Overall, it is quite nice for a one night stay. If you have big luggage, you just need to aware that there are only stairs in the hotel.

It was a really nice stay, one night only, but everything was provided to have a good rest before a long flight th day after, I would like to mention the receptionist for his kind and thoughtful assistance he was really nice. Definitely staying there again.

yunadilnugrahaThe hotel itself is quite old, the service is just so-so, and one thing I really didn’t like was having to hand over my ID card as they also required a deposit. I feel like this is quite outdated nowadays, especially since even 4–5 star hotels don’t usually do that.
There was also no hot water, the room was quite old and clearly needed some maintenance. The location is great, but I really didn’t like the tons of rules they have for a budget hotel.

A lot of transportation options nearby. The check in was smooth. The dorm room was spacious and clean. Wifi was somewhat weak in room but better at the communal area.
I liked the cozy communal area near reception, but it was full of mosquitos at night.

When I came to check in, it turned out it wasn't as bad as what many people said in the reviews, got the promo price at 87k. Arrived at around half past one in the evening, still served well (even though when I ordered, it said max checkin at 10pm, but before that I had confirmed first on the hotel telephone number that I wanted to check in at midnight because there was still an event), the air conditioner was good, the room not cramped, the facilities are safe for a budget under 100k, and I even forgot to sleep when I locked the door but it was still safe, just lacking a toothbrush and mineral water, but that wasn't a problem, overall not bad. Thank You
