"Location is wise. Just opposite of the Thamrin City Mall. Even my 75yo mum and 70yo auntie can walk straight to the mall.
Also, walking distance to Grand Indonesia Mall.
The breakfast is ok.
With the price, everything is Ok except the bed. For me, the bed is not that comfortable.
And the toilet, there’s a mould on the wall and shower.
I believe if someone monitor how the cleaner clean and brush the toilet, the mould gone and looks better. Please provide a brush and sponge to clean it.
Apart from that, the water pressure from the bidet at the toilet was very low. Please check and ensure the pressure is good. That’s all t"

HHiva Journey “A Journey Beyond Destination”I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The staff made me feel very welcomed and were always ready to assist with a smile.
The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. All facilities were well maintained, including the gym, swimming pool, and public areas.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the high standard of hospitality throughout my stay.
Thank you to the entire team for providing such an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers, and I definitely look forward to staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserThis was our first hotel in Jakarta with the kids, and overall, it was pretty good. While it might not quite measure up to the Shangri-La, for the price, I think it offers incredible value for money. The kids' play area was decent too. I even saw a staff member meticulously folding towels, which showed a good attention to detail. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why kids weren't allowed in the executive lounge, but thankfully, they opened up a meeting room for us to dine in instead.

However they checked me in early, offer a free ice cream/ ice lolly on arrival and the rooms were lovely. Not sure about the transparent pool though! I felt very self conscious being directly above the lobby!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a modern and vibrant design that gave the hotel a unique atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist whenever needed. Breakfast offered a good variety of food, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. The direct access to the mall and nearby dining options was also very convenient. GGuest UserA mixed bag of feelings here. I thought I was feeling lucky when they told me at check-in that I was getting a complimentary upgrade (to Deluxe) Unfortunately I was plagued with a number of recurrent issues. The room itself is very nice (311), best thing about it was the bed and the views into the city by the window. With that said, it did have a number of issues, so it was not the finished article in my mind (the safe locked without instructions, the wooden strip on the floor coming off making me trip, the kettle malfunctioning, not hot water on the basin, so had to use the kettle to shave daily) When I arrived, it had not been fully cleaned (see pictures) All of these were actually minor issues vs. other stuff I experienced, I didn't make much of it as I was getting an upgrade. The problems came a few days later when it started raining, and suddenly I was getting sore throats in the room with the temp marking almost 25c and the air con off. I had to take mucolytics and anti-flu tablets cause I was getting a bad cold there. I was wondering if the air conduct were releasing bad spores into the air because it was so tatty (pictures attached)
So with no heating, I got cold there with 27c outside, I find this very very strange.
But the much bigger problem was a few days later when I was hearing massive thumps, bangs and wall stomping from the room right above me, they had placed a family with 4 kids on top of me and it went on at all times in the evening. It got so bad that I requested a change of room, and surprise, they gave me a really REALLY bad downgrade to the 17th floor in a much smaller room, on a really grotty floor that looked like a 2 star highway motel. I thought maybe they were penalising me. The staff at reception told me the next day the people checked out, but the same noises continued another 2 days, so they lied to me or they placed another family with noisy children. The floor on top is super thin. You can hear anyone walking as if they re stomping on it.It will drive you crazy. I also heard people next door hammering something at 1 am in the morning for two nights straight. This hotel has big structural problems. I don't pay $520 to get tortured, it felt like it at some point.
On a separate note, the breakfast service was more like a brunch, very varied and many choices (except for meat and fish that was very underwhelming) They had a temp control management problem, there were mornings when I touched the trays and they were at room temp. Also the plates for the hot section are not heated, so that with the powerful air con overhead translated into your hot food going lukewarm almost immediately, which makes it taste disgusting.
It was only the last 2 or 3 days when I started placing my plates on the griddle for a few mins with the staff's permission, when I could finally start eating hot food. Due to this, I was getting ”stomach runs” every single day after breakfast, except for two days. This is a breach of H&S
So there are several issues that affected my health here.
The restaurant and cafe in the evening had some good meals. The Mexican had some Western tucker that I enjoyed, my last meal (Mexican enchiladas) was underwhelming, felt like cantine food that was microwaved and badly, because I had to send it back for being lukewarm.
Overall I cannot recommend this hotel due to numerous health problems I suffered. I also discovered that if it weren't for the upgrade, I would have been given a horrible room like the one I saw quite possibly.(the room I received cost almost $1000 for two weeks, still very overpriced) This wasn't cheap, and I feel it was so expensive for what it was. Definitely not a 4 star, a 3 star is more befitting.
The staff was mostly corteous, And premises are up to standard only in places. The gym was very nice. The pool area nice with some views, if only a little tiny..

DDr. AdamWe spent 4 nights here at this hotel. The location is great, foods are around the corner as well as a mini market.
The hotel service are reception are excellent. The room is clean and spacious. The room is a little outdated, but still good and didn't spoil our stay.
The gym is good with all the machines you need. The pool is decent size. Our stay at this hotel was very good and we'll certainly stay here again in the near future.

CChristine LokNot that recommended if you looking for a 5 star hotel standards. Staffs are friendly, but the room doesn't looks like the photos it shows. My room's lights are quite dark, and beside the roadside. So even is at 12am still quite noisy from the outside. And the plugs beside the bed both have issue, so I have to inform the team. For the telephone, I couldn't call the team, they said probably technician problem, so come and fixed it. But after checking it said because I didn't press 0 first. I think it would be great if on the phone they can paste an instruction sticker better. The light in the toilet also quite dark, it is hard for a lady to do the makeup since light is not enough and there's no additional small mirror that can zoom in see the details type.
The location is great, you can walk over to plaza indo and grand indo. Staffs are friendly and helpful also. But overall quality needs to improve if looking for 5 stars standards.

DDon Thusitha - AustraliaSwiss Bell Hotel chain is very expensive compare to other 4 star hotels. Not worth for money. There are more 4 star hotels much better than this at lower price in this area. I have experienced that. First room they gave me is disgusting. Not clean and broken room. After I complained they gave me another room with same aminities. Booked as a double guest room. But amenities were for a single person.
Location is very good. Near pondok indah mall. Staff also very good and friendly. But greedy management trying to earn big money, giving lower class hotel to customers. So the problem is Management. Not the staff. Also remember, there is no good seating lobby. Restaurant also high price food and drinks. .
You can get much better hotel at lower price than this is my final conclusion
