Anonymous UserOur villa had a king-size bed and a terrace right by the water. The room was spacious and well-designed, with all the amenities we needed. Elld at the front desk was always asking if we needed anything, and Chen Liang, the shuttle driver, was so thoughtful. He noticed I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of the shuttle and immediately offered me a footstool, which was really touching. The staff at the Chinese restaurant recommended a set menu that was delicious and generous; they even helped us pack up the leftovers to take back to our room and heated them up for us later that evening. They truly go above and beyond for their guests.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive. The room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. I particularly enjoyed the view outside the window and the lighting in the room. It's also very soundproof, allowing for complete relaxation without any disturbances.
The hotel service is great; if you need anything, just contact customer service, and they'll take care of it.
Wangyan Hot Spring is conveniently located just 150m away, within walking distance. You can easily spend a whole afternoon relaxing there. The hot spring usually has 10-15 pools open, which is more than enough, and it's equipped with spa services, a children's play area, a dining bar, and more, offering great privacy.
The hotel breakfast is very rich, with a full selection of Western options like bread, jams, and pastries, as well as Chinese dishes like wontons, knife-cut noodles, and tofu pudding. Dining with the window view was a very pleasant experience.

The guesthouse is located on Hengshan Island, and you can drive directly onto the island. You need to change into slippers upon entering, and the hygiene is excellent. The rooms have a Japanese style, and stepping inside is breathtaking—the huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a terrace facing the mountains and sea, offering panoramic views of sunrises, sunsets, and a sky full of stars—simply romantic! The private hot spring bath is also very comfortable.
The rooms are well-heated, and the butler service is exceptionally attentive, promptly resolving any issues and even enthusiastically recommending renting tricycles on the island, which would be great fun for families with children.
It's a perfect place to relax and unwind; I'd definitely come back again.

Guest UserSuzhou Xishan Xixili Hotel is truly amazing! The environment is serene and elegant, with breathtaking scenery. You can see the beautiful Taihu Lake right from your window, and in the evening, you can enjoy a stunning sunset directly from the hotel – the ambiance is absolutely perfect. The service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the staff, both the ladies and the gentlemen, are warm, friendly, and always smiling, which made us feel so welcome. They even prepared a thoughtful souvenir for us when we left, showing great attention to detail. We had a comfortable stay and a wonderful trip; everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend!

This was a truly amazing trip. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain in the Piaomiao Peak scenic area, with a trail leading directly to the summit. The overall atmosphere was very quiet, and the environment and facilities were excellent. Even if you don't go to the scenic area, you can find a secluded spot in the resort to spend a relaxing afternoon. The service was also very attentive, with dedicated customer service staff who were easy to contact at any time. They even upgraded us to a suite—lucky us!

This hotel is perfectly situated right by Lake Taihu. We'd contacted them beforehand, so check-in was super smooth upon arrival. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. Our room on the 11th floor directly overlooked Lake Taihu, offering a truly beautiful view. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, bright, and spotless. The bathroom was particularly great for families, with a separate shower and tub – perfect for anyone who loves a good soak to de-stress.
The hotel's 2nd floor boasts excellent fitness facilities, including a swimming pool and gym. The pool was very clean, and the water temperature and hygiene were reliable. There's also a LEGO playroom on the 2nd floor where kids can play freely or build with LEGOs, accompanied by family. Sample LEGO models are displayed on the tables, allowing children to follow along and discover the fun of LEGO building.
Breakfast hours are very convenient, running from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This extended window is ideal for families with children or seniors, allowing everyone to sleep in and still enjoy a leisurely meal. The breakfast spread was extensive and varied, with both Western and Chinese options to suit all tastes.
Overall, the hotel offers a luxurious, elegant, and comfortable environment, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Anonymous UserA truly therapeutic garden-style guesthouse experience, the service was so heartwarming it was almost unfair!
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised – the housekeeper, Xiao Cheng, rushed to greet me, warm and attentive, incredibly friendly, and meticulously attending to everything from check-in guidance to detailed reminders. Even though my stay was only one day, the guesthouse created a dedicated service group, and the response time for inquiries about directions and feedback was astonishingly fast. No communication was required throughout the entire stay, making for a fantastic experience!
The accommodation environment was absolutely perfect for me! The all-glass room design was amazing; waking up in the morning, the beautiful garden view was immediately apparent, lush and green, a true testament to nature's beauty.
The guesthouse itself has an elegant garden style; every step in the courtyard is a scenic view. I even received a custom-made folding umbrella as a welcome gift – the attention to detail was truly remarkable.
Even more surprising was the follow-up call from the manager after check-out, who patiently inquired about my experience and offered suggestions for improvement. Her exceptional focus on customer experience was evident; this after-sales care was incredibly heartwarming!
However, I have a few minor complaints: the TV in the room is a bit small, making the viewing experience slightly less enjoyable; a projector would have been much better. The shower water pressure is also a bit weak, making rinsing less satisfying. Additionally, there are limited entertainment options, so there aren't many choices for killing time, and the breakfast selection is also rather limited.
But overall, the experience is absolutely worth five stars! The manager and butler's service, and the stunning accommodations, are impeccable. These minor shortcomings don't detract from the core experience. Once the facilities and details are improved, I will definitely come back without hesitation!

As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here.
1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail.
2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief.
3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down).
There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident.
Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

AichiyudemaosangThe overall stay experience of ”white time” in Xishan, Suzhou is great! The homestay is built near Taihu Lake, and the window is open to the lake view. The sunrise on the lake in the early morning is particularly moving. The public area is very rich in facilities, swimming pools, KTV, mahjong, billiards are all available. It is just right for friends to build a group to play. The whole house is carefully maintained and the room facilities are brand new and easy to use. The boss is easy-going and enthusiastic, and can help solve problems in time. You can watch the lake quietly empty, or you can gather and entertain lively, come to Xishan for a holiday, it is worth staying.

Room: Overall it's OK, the area is large, and the equipment is relatively new. The bathroom is very bright, the functional division is reasonable, the toiletries are complete, and the rosemary smell is very nice. There is no river view, and there is a plastic greenhouse outside the window, as shown in Figure 1, the left side is the front row of rooms. As soon as you enter the door, you can see a lot of scratches on the wall. The sloping ceiling of the second-floor attic is relatively low, so you can see it more clearly. There are bubbles and peeling in many places, indicating that there is a leak. The bathing pool is outdoors on the second floor, which is easy to get dusty, but it is still very interesting to soak your feet, but it's a bit sunny. The swimming pool is not open yet, and the scenery is good.
Service: As soon as you enter the door, the aunties who are cleaning are very warm and friendly, and lead us to the front desk. Probably because I went there on a weekday, the front desk staff was really ”relaxed”. At 3pm, I walked in with my sleeping child in my arms. I was so tired that I could definitely hear my heavy footsteps (it was just two meters away at the unobstructed bar counter). The people inside didn't even raise their eyelids, and no one stood up to take the initiative to greet me. There was no care and concern. I had to ask loudly ”Is anyone there?” before they responded. Well, the child woke up, and the relaxing moment I had planned was completely scrapped. I drove for two hours, got off the car, and walked in from the parking lot with my sleeping child in my arms. I was numb all over. Mothers can probably imagine that their children always fall asleep suddenly. But my psychological expectations were completely dashed, and there was no smiling face on the other side the whole time. It seemed that I was wrong to stay in the hotel. In addition, if welcome fruit cannot be guaranteed, why display this option on the booking interface?
The next day, breakfast started at 7:30. I went in at 7:40 and still no one greeted me. She didn't even raise her eyelids. The girl was on the phone. So the priority of the guests standing there was not as high as the priority of the phone. At least it would be acceptable to say hello and wait a moment. I ignored it directly. There was no coffee for breakfast, which I had never seen before. I was told to buy it myself. In fact, it would be acceptable if they were more polite.
Or there are too many people who are eager to stay here.
