Very basic hotel. Great location next to train. No windows. Breakfast is also basic. Reception is helpful.

Tong Bing hotel a value choice for convenience, cleanliness and comfort. There is a hot & cold dispenser and nice bed for a good sleep. Superb location near train station.

Our stay at tongbing was decently comfortable for one night. We were four in one room with lots of space and a couch. Also had a jug of water. Free breakfast included was yum. We were interrupted at 3 am by a loud beeping noise for 20 seconds but then it went off and other than that it was fine.

Good and staff are easy to call if you need help

Location is good, cleanliness needs improving. Services are nice, fried eggs, free adaptor.

The Hsinchu Railway Station is across the street which is great for a solo traveler like me on the go. Checking in is simple and smooth. The room I booked is relatively small with the queen-size bed taking up most of the space but not a problem for me. The small table allows me to do some writing. The “wet”-style bathroom takes getting used to for many foreign travellers but everything is functional and clean. The only downside is the noise outside and within the building, but earplugs allows me to drown it out when I sleep. Overall, for the low price, it is of good value.

The location is very good. It’s easy to go shopping nearby. It’s also very close to the Chenghuang Temple. Parking available, 200 yuan per night The price is affordable, and the CP value is quite high for this price.
