If you want to be scammed, this is the place to be. Overcharged by hundreds of dollars. When speaking to the manager the only answer we got was her employee made a mistake and refused to take responsibility or find a solution to the issue. 1) If you’re shown evidence of you overcharging there is no excuse. 2) If you can’t properly train employees they don’t need to be working by themselves. I’ve been traveling for work for a few years now and have never come across this and the lack of accountability like this hotel. If you want to properly pay for a hotel and not be scammed, STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

I booked multiple rooms here for my nephews wrestling competitions. The hotel was okay, but had writing on walls, cracks in the drywall, and water stains The worse part was the service received by the GM Lebron. We were treated as if we didn't belong and were unwanted. I had to call above this GM to get the issue resolved. I know this is Alabama, but it's 2023 and racism should not be experienced at a hotel, a place meant to make you feel at home when away from home. I'm completely opposed and dissatisfied with this treatment.

My stay at the jacuzzi suite of Quality Inn was average at best. There was a large cockroach in my room. The wifi signal connecting to my laptop was weak, and I was hard pressed to access the internet from it. The toilet in my room did not work. After one of the maids fixed it, a day later, it again failed to work. Out of six jacuzzi jets (not the additional four jets that squirt water, as those did work), only one fully worked. When I told the man working the front desk, he came to my room with a tool in hand and pretended to fix it. He fixed nothing—no more jets were working than when he started. However, by simply showing me how to turn on the four squirter jets, the man acted like he fixed everything. Breakfast goes daily from 6-9 a.m. in the dining area. I normally eat my first meal of the day at around 11 a.m. Therefore, my preference as a customer is to take my breakfast to go from the dining area to eat at my usual time. The first day at breakfast was no problem doing this. The second day, I showed up at a busy time with many workers eating breakfast before going off to work. When I took my breakfast to go the second day, the lady working in the dining area treated me like a homeless person who just came out of the woods trying to steal a free meal from them. She asked me if I was staying at that hotel, what was my room number? I told her and did everything short of showing her my room key. She said that nobody is allowed to take breakfast to go out of the dining area. I can understand if a customer is hoarding the food from others to go and taking more than his or her FEASIBLE/POLITE share of breakfast to where there is not a fair amount left for other customers. In no way did I do this. Quality Inn, you lose no more breakfast supplies if I take my breakfast to go to eat later in my room instead of eating it then and there in the dining area. I asked the lady if there were any cereal bars. She said no. One of the workers opened a drawer in the serving area with a full stock of cereal and granola bars. Later, she told me that she was saving these for another day—they were not for me. Why not? I paid my money to eat everything available there, just like the man who knew they were hidden. Sometimes, there is no choice for customers. However, based on this stay, I will never again think about offering my business to Quality Inn if there is an alternative choice for me—even if I must pay more per night. Even with the staff shortages due to COVID-19, this stay, for me, was terribly unimpressive.
