Not sure where to start? I don't understand the 5 star reviews, this hotel is definitely not 5 *. Room size great, yes dated but so are most hotels, room cleaner AMAZING shame I can't remember his name but he could not do enough for us! Some of the staff are great very friendly and they are the saving grace for the hotel! Food was not great, we couldn't get into any of the speciality restaurants so can't comment on them. Main buffet restaurant was like an massive canteen :( I think we are quite well travelled but this is the first time we have ever been ill. The vast majority of the sunbeds were broken! at the pool and at the beach! I do not like the fact you cannot use the facilities in the other hotel, I do not think this is explained when booking. This is the first time I have been to an AI hotel where you have to pay extras? Children asking for popcorn and candy floss in the evening during entertainment - PAY, little electric cars for the kids - PAY, fresh juice/fruit on the beach - PAY We had an ok week, we did not pay a lot of money so I suppose got what we paid for. There were a lot of returning guests so I guess some must like it but we would certainly not return.

This hotel does a lot of things really well. The hotel is located a short walk around 10-15 minutes from the lovely beach. The beach also has AI bars and a restaurant though we never used the restaurant there. There is also a free shuttle to tye beach from reception. Reception area is very busy, with people making use of the free WiFi. Reception staff are good, but it's usually very busy there and separate desks could be arranged for check ins, outs and enquires. Rooms are dated, but ok. The cleaners are great. Entertainment is OK in the evenings. Pools are nice but very busy, especially the heated pool bar where the service isn't great imo. The other pool bar is much better service. Those guys are great and keep the drinks coming. The main restaurant....lovely food overall, though not much for vegetarians. However this place is chaotic. The hotel was very busy when we went and as a result, very few clean empty tables. It's a bit of a joke in there. As a knock on, the speciality restaurants get booked up very quick as people probably can't be bothered to race in the buffet to get a table. We only tried the Chinese "Royal Wok" and this lovely. There is a Lebanese restaurant too. I'd advise on booking these as soon as poss on the computer touch screen, adjacent to the hotel reception desk. Transfers were about 35 minutes. Good overall, but the restaurant isn't big enough imo

We’ve had a good holiday in Makadi Bay. The resort is very well kept, beautiful grounds/gardens and good choice of pools. We went during half term so the resort even though huge was fully booked and therefore quite busy which made it difficult to get a decent sun lounger if you didn’t get your towel down early enough. The “feeding at the zoo” reference in previous reviews is quite right especially during evening meal. Food is better than expected, plenty of choice some things can be a hit and miss but overall tasty with freshly cooked food stations. I was kind of expecting a lot of mince and slops but not at all. When we arrived we’ve had a small issue with the extra bed for our son but it was resolved in time but because we arrived late it was rather inconvenient to have to wait for bed. The rooms could really do with updating with old knackered furniture and dated decor. The beds are super comfy and AC works perfectly. Sun-loungers as mentioned above get reserved in the morning with towels dumped on most of them (even though it states clearly that reserving them isn’t allowed everyine does and staff assist them to do so). They are also dated and almost impossible to reposition. Staff works super hard and most of them go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and serve drinks in all areas ( tipping helps). I found staff at the heated pool bar more ignorant, many times waited awhile to be served while staff were serving guests that probably tip more. The a la carte restaurants get booked very quickly which is the reasons we were only able to try the Chinese which was good (maybe not authentic Chinese food but tasty nevertheless) . We ended up getting upset stomachs on thr last night but not sure what was too blame. Overall a pleasant stay but not perfect. Would we return? Probably not as huge busy resorts aren’t usually our vibe and you can probably get better for the money.

Для людей, которые мало путешествуют или не с чем сравнить, наверное, отдых может быть сносным. Но людям побывавшим в ОАЭ, Сингапуре… тут будет очень сложно. Мы приехали показать сыну пирамиды и Луксор, с чем справились и рады, что больше не вернёмся в эту страну. Об отеле хочется рассказать отдельно. Территория: большая, зеленая и относительно чистая (если не принимать во внимание огромное количество окурков, волос, осколков от посуды и прочего мусора в песке возле бассейнов) Бассейнов на территории мы нашли 6шт, но больших из них 2 (с горками и релакс, который должен быть с подогревом, но при нас подогрев не включали) Температуру воды в бассейне мы измеряли и была +22 градуса, хотя писали на доске у бассейна +27. Для нас вода была холодной. В море вода значительно теплее. Питание: терпимое, еда адаптирована под европейцев, вполне можно что-то выбрать. Печалит только полнейшая антисанитария. О перчатках и хорошей чистоте посуды тут не знают. Еще все соки разбавляют сырой водой и даже не стесняются этого, делают на глазах у отдыхающих. После такого «коктейля» очереди в аптеку огромные, у большинства людей сильное расстройство желудка с рвотой и жидким стулом. Это не обошло и нас(( В медицинском пункте посылают и говорят, что вы все перегрелись с непривычки или делают вид, что не понимают твой английский. Сервис: на эту тему можно книгу написать. Уборка в номере- заправить постель, повесить аккуратно полотенца, оставить 2 бутылки 0,5 воды на 3 человека и обрыскать все в поиске денег. В номере не пылесосят и не заметают, пол тоже ни разу никто не мыл, пыли куча, полотенца поднимают с пола и вешают обратно, а не меняют их. Из принадлежностей только кусочек мыла и пара маленьких гелей. Больше нет ничего! Зато после уборки пропадают всякие мелочи (пачка орешков, резинки для волос, сигареты, крем, зарядное, очки…) у всех разное. Стоит прятать в чемоданы абсолютно все вещи и особенно зубные щетки (с их помощью могут мстить за отсутствие чаевых после уборки номера)- об этом нас предупредили люди, которые выезжали из отеля и столкнулись с этой неприятной ситуацией. На своих щетках они обнаружили экскременты. Так же стоит внимательно следить за полотенцами, которые выдают на пляже и у бассейнов (полосатые). Они меняются на карточки и при потере полотенца придется заплатить 15 долларов. У нас украли полотенце с шезлонга пока мы плавали в бассейне. Повезло, что шезлонг наш стоял прямо под камерой и мы требовали посмотреть записи. Никакие записи нам не показали, но полотенце вернули. Перед выездом за ними нужно следить особо тщательно, так как забирают их как работники отеля, так и другие жильцы у которых украли полотенце, а им нужно выезжать из отеля. Приходилось постоянно фотографировать полотенца и свои вещи. Еще один не самый приятный «развод» - встреча с гидом от туроператора. Всех еще по пути в отель запугивают, что нужно обязательно всей

Séjour réservé avec Mondial Tourisme (Leclerc voyage), vous avez plusieurs représentants français sur place ce qui est en véritable atout quand votre anglais est moyen ;-) - chambres: literie de bonne qualité et chambre insonorisé correctement, du point de vue ménage RAS tout était ok! - piscines: au nombre de 8, nous avons profité de la piscine ZEN, de la piscine animée avec toboggan, de la piscine à vagues et de la grande piscine situé au fond du complexe. Les autres piscines sont plutôt des piscinettes pour les jeunes enfants! - restauration: 1 restaurant principal, aux horaires d'ouvertures larges! Vous y mangez varié le soir, pour le midi et le matin c'est à peu près toujours identiques y compris pour le buffet de dessert. Il y a également un snack au fond du complexe pour les petits déjeuners tardifs et les snack jusqu'à 15h si vous ne voulez pas vous rendre au restaurant. Votre séjour vous donne accès à 2 restaurants supplémentaires à réserver rapidement sur la borne situé à l'accueil. Nous avons testé l'indien et l'asiatique c'était très bien. - situation de l'hôtel: environ 30min de l'aéroport. L'hôtel se compose en réalité de 2 complexes: le Garden et le Beach. Vous pouvez accédez au Beach via une navette ou à pied (même pas 5min de manière sécurisée) et dans ce complexe vous avez accès à la plage, au bar de la plage ainsi qu'au snack et au service de prêt de serviette. Sur le chemin vous trouvez des commerces pour les souvenirs et les encas! et comme partout en Egypte vous pouvez négocier tous les prix ;-) - la mer Rouge: quel bonheur!! Depuis la plage vous avez un ponton qui vous dépose sur la barrière de corail. Pour les plus courageux, vous pouvez nager un peu plus loin que le ponton vous avez un mur de corail gigantesques, si vous faites le tour vous découvrirez une toute autre faune !!! Tout à fait accessible en snorkeling. - excursions: Nous avons fait l'excursion Louxor via l'agence, 70€ par adulte. RAS tout était parfait et le guide "Hassan" un véritable passionné! Attention, vous allez être sollicité pour échanger des pièces contre un billet de 10€, ne le faites pas car les pièces ne sont pas toujours de vraies! - points négatifs: le all-in qui finalement n'est plus tout à fait un all-in (mais à priori cette tendance se généralise partout). Votre bracelet vous donne droit à la carte de boisson de base ( ce qui est déjà très bien tout de même) sauf que si vous voulez un jus de fruit frais, un cocktail plus élaboré.... et bien il faut payer en extra. Idem pour les barbe à papa le soir, les pops corn,..... La facture est à payer avant de partir, attention demandez le détail car ils ont tendance à un peu trop arrondir la dépense ;-) En résumé nous avons passé un bon séjour dans un endroit propre et accueillant avec un personnel souriant. L'Egypte reste une destination low cost et evidemment on ne peut pas exiger du 5* français !! Pour info nous avons payé 2200€ pour 4personnes hors vacances scolaires.

Let’s start with the good points Hotel was very big at least 7 pools plenty of sunbeds the staff worked tirelessly always friendly. The animation team also did a fantastic job . Rooms was very spacious with a large shower separate bath with a shower in there if you wanted kettle hairdryer all there fridge you was left 2 bottles of water each day . Now the bad points ( in my eyes ) The food wasn’t the best in the main dinning room always cold even went at 6.30 still the same at busy times it was like feeding time at the zoo not enough staff on to clear tables etc . Breakfast was very poor the 4 restaurants you can use Chinese Indian Italian Lebonise They was all very good better then the main restaurant. The taxi service what gets offered book with caution mine never picked us up for the return had to book another taxi cost us 25usd I did complain the next day and got 15 usd back . On departure day they was no rooms to book got told to use the spa for showers so that’s what we did but it was shocking 2 showers for the men eventually when the que went down I got a shower but there is nowhere to put your clean clothes so you have to have someone waiting outside lucky for me I did but then when you come out the shower cubical you have to get dried in front of a urine pot honestly the service stations on the motorways in the uk are better . I would say this hotel needs a lot of work doing for there paying customers and listen to what they say or ask we all pay good money . I would say this hotel is probably a 3 star maximum never a 5 what they advertise

super hotel z super obsługa, co warto zaznaczyć w Egipcie, obsługa bardzo pomocna i nie natrętna, przy basenach ciągle są jakieś atrakcje i zajęcia nie ma czasu na nudy, jedzenie dobre , każdego dnia tematyczne kolację, grupa animatorów super bardzo zabawna, pozdrawiamy Martę z Polski bardzo pomocna, polecamy z czystym sumieniem ten hotel

Отдыхаю в этом отеле впервые. В целом все нормально, персонал прекрасный,еда вкусная,море теплое,программа как и в любом другом отеле одинаковая,но есть и минусы. Платный WiFi,не кладут полный комплект косметики и по мелочам пытаются стянуть деньги.

Из плюсов : разнообразная меню в главном ресторане, хорошие номера, много бассейнов, горки и бассейн с волнами, анимация на главном бассейне хорошая, можно пользоваться территорией Стелла бич Из минусов: бесплатный вай фай только в лобби, на территории платный и очень дорого, шампуни и гели для душа дали только 1 раз, просили несколько раз и только потом все таки уборщик дал, утюг просили 3 раза , так и не принесли , коктейлей маленький выбор, остальные платные
