Children have always liked Nubia Hotel. This is the third time I stayed at the hotel, but now it has changed its name. The water park is fun, but the price is expensive and the food is not as good as before.

The hotel is in a practical location in that it is very convenient for further trips to Cairo/Giza because you are the last to be picked up and the first to be brought back. This saves time and makes the trips more pleasant. The hotel is also conveniently located for trips to see the dolphins or diving trips. In the immediate vicinity to the north there is no adjacent hotel, which means more peace and quiet and an extra wild beach with corals. The bazaar in the city is about 12 km on a relatively straight route. One way by taxi costs 150 LA or 3 euros. It is probably cheaper, but I thought the price was good. (Prices should be agreed upon for all passengers before boarding.) The beach and piers to the excursion boats are good. A beautiful, mostly well-kept hotel and the rooms, at least the ones we got here, were also very large and well equipped. The aqua park (actually the reason why we booked this hotel) was not included, however. We had to pay extra for that (not cheap). Maybe this should be found out in advance and communicated more clearly, because for some people with hotel bookings this was included and for others it was not.

We spent 2 weeks at this great hotel, made better by the wonderful helpful friendly very busy staff. Room upgraded to sun in the morning left side, great extra king size bed and view of the main pool. Pool lifeguard made every day fun, Hosan is a star! Restaurant was interesting..... so many rude people - you know who you are - but there was always something nice to eat, morning omelette, Said's spaghettis, and the desserts, even cakes at breakfast. Our waiter Ahmed was so polite and quick to get my coffee mango beer wine. Also Mr Galal who stopped to chat despite being so busy, telling us stories, he even searched out some tablets for me, touring pharmacies by taxi to find some, and they cured my problem, thanks to him. Housekeeper Gamal was so friendly and hardworking, decorating the beds with towel animals, expert work, thank you! Unfortunately we did suffer some illness but nevertheless had an enjoyable stay. We've noted the fabulous hot weather was too much for us, hope to return at a cooler time of year. Thanks Dr Ebram and his nurse. Guest relations lady, Lena showed interest in us, asking how I was almost daily, another thank you. Special mention to reception staff, always pleased to help me, in particular Peter Michael, but all were good. Spa staff were constant nuisances, but I had a free taster 15min massage, and a nice haircut the day before I hit 68. Lots of boat trips etc but can be found cheaper online. I’ve stayed for 7 days and can say that of course not everything is luxurious but anyway we enjoyed our stay. It’s rather family hotel. And the most worthy thing in this hotel is the guest relations manager, Ms Alaa who does her best for guest to have no problem and enjoy their stay. She is really a goddess and because of her I will return here once again as I’m sure the rights and leisure of guests are guaranteed

If : - You are total looseness, - You got a trip to this hotel for free, - you have a lot of free time, This hotel can be treated as a new anthropological experience of Arab -Russian culture. That's it. And now a few additional words of the undemanding tourist, ignoring the above. The hotel recommended us an employee of a travel agency as one of the better hotels 5* in reasonable money for families with children, so we bought a "holiday trip" and go the road. Flight from Poland 4h. From Hurgada airport to the hotel "El Karma" 1h bus. We arrived at 2am. And the adventure began. At the beginning, despite the room purchased with a pool view of the 55m2, we received the 35m2 standard room with a view of ... bushes. The intervention and almost a fuss came and we received a room with the pool view but ... destroyed. Another intervention at the manager but as it turned out more rooms in this best-completed standard. The hotel manager informed us that he will settle the matter but after breakfast. Unfortunately, after breakfast there was no this room again so they offer us another date after lunch (all for delay to give up peace). We don't give up and fight for our own. We succeeded, we got the room we paid but ... forget about the Egyptian standard 5* or 4*. His advantage is size and that's it. Cracking walls and tiles on the floor, dirty joints in the bathroom. The mushroom is generally visible that the construction and finishing works were probably done by chefs. The lift to the room without security so only one door and driving it must be careful. Generally, I think that the room on exotic, sunny holidays is basically only to sleep, so apart from its "values" now a few words about food because 4* -5* obliges but ... not here. Two dining rooms one air -conditioned another does not, and hungry a whole bunch of people and there are no places for everyone, so queues behind vegetables, chicken, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cookies and of course the tables unfortunately dirty. And so 7 days. So many people in the dining room that the service could not keep up with cleaning on the floor and on the tables and as I mentioned at the beginning Arabs and the Russians around - everywhere - on the canteen in the bars by the pools and on the beach. Sometimes you don't know if you are in Egypt or Russia. Being longer, you could learn the basics of their languages. Coca cola drinks only from the barrel and in each bar they taste differently (???) sometimes you feel the taste of chlorine so it leaves food for their originality (water + concentrate). Sometimes you managed to drink from a bottle of tonic or cola zero but if you do not give $, suddenly they are not available (for you). Another distance topic and here attention in the description of the beach object but not the main hotel. From the main hotel to the beach about 550-650 meters and in the heat 44 degrees in the shade, it is really hard to get a total of a few kilometers a day on the road: Hotel - Aqua

We have just spent a week here and we have absolutely loved it. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and clean and the cleaners work their socks off. Our cleaner was incredible friendly and we tipped him for his efforts. The children’s pools are perfect and my daughter absolutely loved it. Loads for the kids to do, there’s a couple of pools with children’s slides in and there’s also a little park. Bigger slides for the adults but children can enjoy those as well. You do get mithered by the men that work in the spa while your sunbathing. They’re quite persistent but you can pick up a red flag when you get your towels and they leave you alone. The food isn’t the best but we always found something to eat. The Italian is beautiful and the Chinese was ok, there’s also a sea food restaurant but we didn’t go there as it’s not our thing. The beach bar serves food at lunch and have pizza, chips, kebabs, salad, beef koftas and on one of the days they served chicken from the bbq. There’s burgers and chips at the little hut next to the beach bar. The ice creams and iced fruit drinks are not free but there is free ice cream at the drinks bar next to the beach bar but only at set times. There is a love holidays rep named Mohammed Alkady who is in the reception in the morning and the evenings. He is absolutely amazing and we can’t recommend him enough. He’s such a lovely rep and there is no language barrier. He’s lovely and very helpful. He arranged our taxis at good prices and also our trip. We recommend the orange bay island trip that includes the submarine, water sports, snorkelling, dinner and then to Orange bay. I’d personally say ignore the bad reviews and make your own opinions. We had a lovely holiday.

Fantastic stay for families with children. and friendly staff that ensure that everyone is happy and comfortable. The room was kept clean everyday and we got surprised by new towel designs on our beds done by the lovely Abdullah Hamdy. Such a fantastic guy! We will definitely come back to Egypt and I’d defo it recommend this resort to families.

Had a good time on my holiday here. The pools and slides are good for young children. The staff are friendly and helpful and great with kids. I rated 4 stars as the food could be better, and there are not many options for children. The staff did try to accomodate us by cooking some meals specifically for children but again these wernt the best. The choice of drinks for all inclusive is a bit limited and the spirits are not the best. Overall a good experience and you get what you pay for. I would stay again but not for longer than a week.
