We loved our overnight stay at the Aaron Causeway Hotel. Our family room was clean and spacious with three proper beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The room had a large kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided (fresh milk on request). We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant which was very good , a kid’s menu was also available. The breakfast was great with many different choices and good coffee and tea.

Accommodation reasonable, it was suggested due to an early start,Orange juice and croissants could be arranged, Neither materialised.
We would stay again due to convenience of the airport.
Just a little disappointed overall.

The room we stayed in was very small,but we were only staying one night, so it was okay. I liked the railway theme. Breakfast was good.

Very pleasant one night stay prior to boarding ferry to Cherbourg. Super easy check in and very clean, comfortable room. Beautiful surroundings too.

Not the warmest welcome we have ever received, but it was efficient I guess. Our room was quite small, for a double, and the outlook was over a flat roof, but perhaps that's the price you pay for getting a discount via a third-party booking website? I did wonder, a couple of times, if the heating had been left on because our room seemed to be incredibly hot, but opening the window brought a different problem: the noise from some sort of machinery (perhaps the refrigeration units?). Don't expect to dine in the railway carriage pictured (which I suspect is only available to organised parties), but the food - both evening dinner and breakfast - was very good, and the staff were helpful and (as I said prevously) efficient.

We dropped in for a drink, liked the friendly atmosphere and jolly staff so decided to have some lunch. Good choice on the menu, as we only wanted a lite meal we went for sandwiches or starters . The chicken wings were delicious, cooked perfectly, moist, tender and tasty. The fish bun was generous and tasty, but with a portion of fries was a bit more than a lite lunch. The Butcombe Gold was well kept, clear a good temperature and very tasty. In fact 1 was not enough!
