Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Ibiza

This hotel was recommended by a friend for their location and their breakfast buffet but everything about our experience exceeded expectations and was beyond 5 star! We went on our honeymoon to Spain earlier in May. We stayed at 5 star hotels in Barcelona, Ibiza and Madrid. I told all of them that it was our honeymoon in the notes section of the reservation, but the Ibiza Gran was the only hotel that made us feel special about it. Gustavo did an amazing job at showing us our room amenities. He made me want to clap with the way he opened the curtains to show us the the view of Old Town Ibiza - we upgraded to the Panoramic Junior Suite and it was so worth it! Then he asked why we were visiting and we said our honeymoon, he said ”oh ok, the hotel must be doing something special for you then”...as he walked us to the entrance of our room and showed us a display of champagne on ice, chocolates, balloons and a note from the GM thanking us for choosing to stay there. Some how Gustavo managed to make us miss this when we walked in, or he had some undercover help, either way it was such a beautiful surprise! The TV in the room said welcome Mr & Mrs ***, another great touch. But here's the real kicker! They surprised us by offering to drive us to dinner in the hotels Bentley car service. No where on their website is this advertised so we were in total AWE! They have one Bentley and I chose early May to avoid the crowds, and I'm so grateful of this because we were able to get dropped off in a Bentley every time we left the hotel. Luis was so great at arranging this and Javi was a fun driver with great music. The buffet lived up to it's reputation, but again it was the combination of the staff, toiletries in the room, the view and location, the Bentley car service and their attention to detail! We will stay here every time we come to Ibiza!!!

We had 2 nights here on way to Formentera. We had a seaview room with a balcony which was amazing. Almost on the beach, fantastic views. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and rooms were spotless. Perfectly situated for restaurants and bars and some very good bakery/ cafes where we got breakfast just a couple of roads away. A 15 min walk away from centre and the castle, so perfect! Given hotel a 4* rather than a 5* as it is a little tired and worn in places but would definitely stay here again.

This place was obviously old but very well updated and appointed. Some might call it quaint. The hotel staff was very accommodating, professional and pleasant, and for the most part spoke English well which made communication less of a challenge. We had a booking discrepancy which necessitated a larger room, fortunately we were able to move into the two bed premier unit which by my standards was very nice. The AC cooled the room off exceptionally well, the windows and balcony doors were all new with double insulated panes and sound trim insulation. The balcony overlooked the square which tended to be noisy throughout the night but not so much that sleep could not be attained. Obviously this facility has no control of people in the square. The rest of the room touted a nicely decorated and well designed living space, and a ceiling fan that could really move some air, the bathroom was newly redesigned and also very nice. Plenty of hot water, not that we needed it in this summer 2022 heat wave. Parking was a challenge, we rented a car when we arrived and street parking was nearly impossible. Lot parking was 38e/night. The upside is with a receipt the hotel reimbursed that expense which was a pleasant discovery. Would definitely stay here again. I had zero concerns or complaints about this hotel. Side note for other Americans contemplating to rent a car or not. I suggest that you do. Parking, though not convenient but reimbursed makes it worth it and getting around the island via one of maybe three taxis would be crazy expensive and not worth the time standing around wasting. Driving is easy after you realize how the roads are laid out IE mostly one ways, the triangles on the road mean you yield at that intersection AND pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. Scooters and motorcycles will pass you up on the left and right so just keep an eye out. Once out of downtown Ibiza driving is much more relaxing and easy, the rest of the island is an easy and relatively care free cruise. The sunset at Cafe Del Mar is greeted with cheers nightly and an accompanying beat from the club. I would like to come back here again for a longer stay. A full month would suffice.

Circled by the zigzagging- medieval streets of Dalt Vila- Torre del Canonigo is wrapped up in Ibizan history. Once a trio of 16th century buildings that have houses everyone from pirates to Jesuits- this boutique hotel has had a contemporary makeover. Inside- rooms and suites follow an old-meets-new dress code- where exposed stone walls and beams contrast with modern White Isle style. Think flowing fabrics framing restored windows- and monochrome detailing for a crisp- minimalist look. Many rooms offer beautiful views- but the rooftop terrace has a wonderful panorama - ideal for yacht-spotting after a dip in the pool. Once you have the lay of the land- stroll back down through the Old Town streets- pausing at one of the many shops or cafes- to step into modern day Ibiza. This is where characterful museums stand alongside contemporary bars- and drinks in leafy plazas are the perfect prelude to some of the finest nightlife on the island. If it turns into a late night- the Torre del Canonigo restaurant- Kyuppido- serves breakfast until almost lunchtime - for night owls. Or skip straight to dinner- for Mediterranean menus with a dash of Asian flair- served alfresco on the terrace. La Torre del Canonigo is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

Very good, the staff was very enthusiastic to do a free upgrade, and the public facilities of the company's three hotels can be used free of charge at any time, travel is also very convenient, popular bars, restaurants are not far away can be reached .

We arrived at this hotel today . 2nd of September 2024 This hotel has the opportunity to be beautiful but it is dirty and is not been taken care off in terms of cleanliness. The hotel surroundings of the property are becoming tatty and dirty including the outdoor seating area for breakfast & the pool chairs are scruffy and cracked. We arrived today to a dirty room , you can see from the photos I have included the room has mold in the showers , dirty cups left in the bathroom that haven't been washed, stains of dirt on the walls and the bottom of the bed is ripped with Sand all over And blue stains on the ceiling!!!!!! I went to the reception and immediately told them , they offered me a new room. Upon showing me the new room it was a disabled room , I'm sure this was a mistake but who knows ? We finally got shown a new room which is slightly better but not what I would expect a 5 star hotels cleanliness to look like. As much as I appreciate the manager Cristan tried to be helpful , I feel as though they could have done a lot more for an unhappy customer after I told them this is my anniversary week and the first day has been ruined by unpacking, repacking then un packing again for another room. To top it all off , we arrive back from dinner to swap the rooms finally at 10.30 pm and then had to wait 30 minuets for someone to come and help us move rooms with our luggage. All round , this hotel isn't up to 5 star standards and shouldn't be in the Forbes top hotels. They are charging £400-500 a night and it needs cleaning up + the service needs a nudge. I only stay in 5 star hotels and I'm afraid to say I won't be staying here JJ again or recommending it. There are much nicer hotels at 5 stars in Ibiza. I think due to the fact they are in ”'Forbes” they are becoming lazy. I would like to mention Xavi who works at the hotel from Barcelona is amazing , super friendly , he was helping us with all our cases and was an Angel and such a nice gentleman.

A resort hotel that is absolutely striking. It's impeccable in terms of facilities and services, especially with unparalleled ocean views and sunsets. It is a resort paradise. Can come back later.

Loved the Dorado Sea view suite. It’s very spacious and enjoyed the beach view from room and balcony. Kitchen has pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, electric kettle, stove, toasters, refrigerator etc. glass plates could be cleaner and kitchen towels/tissues could be provided. Bathroom amenities are good. Bed, pillows, couches are very comfortable. Rooms were neat and clean. Check in & check out was very efficient. We arrived earlier than check in time, gave us the room within 20 mins. Marina is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for providing good services!
