I really wanted to like this hotel, but at the end of the day too many negatives added up... I booked a sea view room, double bed...on arrival I found that the 'double bed' was actually two singles pushed together with some sort of bolster pushed down the gap. I'm physically disabled and having an actual double bed is probably the most important thing I look for when booking a hotel, if I'd known in advance I wouldn't have booked the hotel. Both beds were lumpy, too soft and so were the pillows. Two single duvets instead of one full sized one, with the beds drifting apart during the night made for 6 nights of very little sleep...the air conditioning is centrally controlled and wasn't cool enough for the still very warm nights. Housekeeping is very slow, I left the room at 10am one day when they were only a couple of rooms away, when I got back at 4pm my room still hadn't been done. I also found you had to put the door hanger saying 'please clean the room' on for it actually to be done. The welcome screen on the television made it look as if it was smart television, giving access to youtube and netflix...but apart from the live tv, none of the other options worked. Most of the channels were German/Russian, with only Comedy Central having programmes in English. Bathroom was probably the best part of the room. Good sized shower cubicle, hot water always available. Staff - apart from the cleaning staff, most were disinterested once they found out I wasn't German/Russian. A couple still insisted on speaking to me in German, even after being told more than once that I didn't speak the language, as well as insisting that I was British - even though I'm not. Food was good, if repetitive, I wouldn't have wanted to be staying for more than a week. Getting a sunbed was virtually impossible after about 9am, even though there are signs everywhere saying not to reserve them. All of the very loud animation, both during the day and evening is in German. Getting to the central part of Side is difficult if you are disabled. I requested a taxi from the reception staff, was told it would be 10 -15 minutes. After waiting outside for 40 minutes I gave up and went back in. No explanation, no apology. Taxi drivers ignore the meters and charge double. As a disabled woman travelling on my own I didn't feel confident enough to argue, so a trip that should have cost at most 6 pounds one way cost 15... I've been to Side before and wouldn't stay here again. There are better places much cheaper and much closer to the centre.
Barut B Suites

Stayed at Barut B Suites for the first time, and will definately return. Quick and easy check in (even though it was 12.30 at night). Accomodation: We had a suite at the back of C block so got the sunrise in the morning. Even though we were all inclusive should you have wanted to be self catering the facilities were there to do so. The shower was huge and the whole suite was kept very clean. Food: We ate in the buffet every day as the food was great. I like trying new things to eat and ended up having some strange combinations of meals, but hey it worked for me. Didn't eat in the terrace grill so can't comment on that. Most evenings we sat outside on the terrace to have a drink, watch out for the hedgehogs. They are not bothered by people, noise or lights. Evening entertainment was so so and we didn't bother too much with it. The beach is approximately 5 minute walk from hotel but beware, depending on the outside temperature by midday the sand can be too hot to walk on. Foam party in the hotel pool is great fun. All on all we had a great time, the hotel and grounds are spotless plus staff are friendly and helpful.
Primasol Hane Family Resort Hotel

I can call myself a regular customer of the place, and I am far from being capricious but this time I have very mixed feelings. It’s a long story, and it must be read and taken into consideration by the hotel management and the owners of the business! Here I only assess the service. My husband and I stayed here in 2020 and 2021 during the tough years of the pandemic, last year together with our 19-year-old daughter and my elderly parents. All the five of us loved the place so much that we made a decision to book it again this year. However, it was fully booked till 26, October. Our vacation started on 16, October and we stayed at another hotel of the same chain (Hane Smart) and moved here on 26, October because we desperately wanted to stay here. It was a mistake, though. When we arrived we found out that the Hane Family was overbooked and they could not provide us with 2 rooms (we booked a family and a standard) and offered all of us to stay in a family suite for 2 nights. 5 adults, 1 bathroom… We did not mind it though we were not pleased that much. The receptionist (Nuriyam) apologised for the inconvenience and offered an a la carte restaurant reservation, a free safe box (it’s a paid service here) and free cocktails each of us (imported alcohol cocktails cost 5 € per one). When we decided to have our cocktails in the lobby bar they told us to go to the pool bar with our cocktail vouchers. It was 11:30 am. A man at the bar refused to serve us for a reason he tried to explain in… German. I work in a hotel myself and I should point out that the international language of hospitality is still English, even in Turkey, isn’t it? Even if you mainly work with German tourists, you have to speak elementary English! And your non-German tourists are not supposed to speak German! We left our parents and daughter at the pool and went to the reception to clarify the situation. The same receptionist called the pool bar and told us to get back and get the cocktails. We went there again, and again the same man at the bar refused to serve us. We insisted, he answered something in a foreign language which was a mix of some words with a few English words among which I could only get ‘eat’ and the gesture of eating. It was also obvious he couldn’t make cocktails or didn’t want to do it. What he meant was still unclear to me. I was looking at him in great surprise and he pointed at his temple with his index finger near which in most European countries is considered to be an indication ‘you are stupid’ A hotel employee showing a guest that he or she is stupid with a gesture!!! Very rude and highly unprofessional!!! I was shocked! We went to the reception AGAIN. This time the receptionist called the restaurant manager and went with us. It turned out that the man at the bar is.. just a waiter who poured beer and Sprite while the real bartender was having his lunch. He simply could NOT explain it in English, because his English is so poor that he even cannot say ‘barte

I stayed one week with my husband and we loved it, the location its amazing as we love to go out in the evening time for walk and enjoying the late life style, there are Plenty shops and bazaars around the hotel, Lots if option for shopping. Bus stop front of the hotel, you can easily access Side old Town, Manavgat etc. Shuttle bus to the beach every few minutes , but to walk is also OK its about 5min, beach bar, food snacks also included, you can have your lunch at the beach. Some of the bar staff (in the main bar) are rude, they don't even say hi and they should improve the English. Serkan and Bertan are the best bar man's, at least they smile, Kind and speaking English. The cleaners and the waitresses working hard, sometimes the tables were not set up but we dont mind to get cutlery ourselves. Food was okay, always we found something which we liked (plenty options, but sometimes the chicken breast was not well cooked) The curly hair ”Manager” lady in the bar I'm not sure but I think Aisha her name, she didn't welcome anyone , she should not be in this position with her rude attitude. The show was good every day different. I like that the bar is 24 hours open plus there is late dinner at 11pm till midnight whoever missed the dinner or checked in late, after midnight sandwiches are available. We tried the hamam/massage but not in the hotel, as the price is very high. If you are new in this ”business” don't jump into the first offers neither with activities or trips because online or few meter from the hotel you find way more cheaper options. Overall it was very good holiday I would recommend this hotel.
