Stayed in the hotel room (#15) and the mildew smell was bad. Thought it would subside but it didn’t. Either the carpet or AC, or both, need to be replaced. Carpet looked and felt like it was 10 yrs past dead. If those were fixed, it was a good value. Food options in area OK but limited and don’t plan to eat late. If you want an early breakfast before 8, you’ll need to run back up to park lodge.

Quick stop right outside the national park. Clean room, friendly service and went smoothly. Will stay again if we come back to the Badlands.

Absolutely fabulous! Beds were very comfortable, nice and quiet surroundings, very friendly frnt desk people. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend the Badlands Motel and Campground.

How the tiny space we occupied be rated a 7, I'll never understand. The bathroom fan was very noisy. There was food available according to the website. Not so!

Overnight stay traveling through Badlands. Great location for entrance to the park and amazing view of the mountain. Off the beaten path but so good to be in a small town environment.

Perfect place to stay. As part of our trip we came to visit the badlands....perfect stopping point so we could enjoy the scenery during the daylight hours, and not be rushed. Views were excellent from the site, and enjoyed the rustic, yet modern location
