"The hotel is really cool. I loved it. Very clean, well organized, robots bring you food to your room, near metro station, near the pedestrian area, is in a perfect location. The girl in the lobby reception are super friendly and they will help you in anyway possible. Remember to ask for your free welcome cocktail 😉. Jing made me mine and it was delicious. She was wonderful. Help me out with all the questions I had about transportation, restaurants and guidance in general. She and all her colleagues are doing an amazing job. Even if their English is not the best, they do everything possible to understand you and help you out with all your questions. Highly recommend 100%. Thnx"

"Before checking in, I saw reviews saying the hotel was old and run-down, which made me nervous. I originally booked three nights but changed it to one. Even though it was a non-changeable reservation, the hotel quickly approved my request for a refund. However, after checking in, I found it wasn't as dilapidated or dirty as the reviews claimed. It was very tidy and clean, and not nearly as old as I expected. The river view from the 27th-floor bar is absolutely stunning! When I checked in, the front desk attendant was really enthusiastic and upgraded us to a river-view room. We could relax on the sofa in our room and take in the entire river scenery – super enjoyable! So, we extended our stay for another night, and they even gave us Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). Five-star rating! I'll definitely be back to stay here again!"

The hotel is located in the cultural and commercial center of Changsha, especially in the May Day Square commercial area. It is located on the 17th floor of Dadi Jinshu, where you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Xiang River. The hotel offers a variety of room types, and the square downstairs not only provides entertainment activities, but also allows you to stroll happily.Siman Hotel welcomes guests from all over the world to experience!

"The room was spacious with large, clear floor-to-ceiling windows offering a nice view. The cleanliness was impressive; even the shelves and the balcony's table and chairs were spotless. They've also put soundproofing strips under the room door, which worked well (though nothing can block out the sound of gongs and drums outside the window in the morning!). The hotel is located right by the Xiang River. To get to your room, it's easiest to take elevators 6 or 7 (the outside of the building doesn't have very clear signage, so I got a little lost finding it the first time). It's about a 10-minute walk to Peiyuan Bridge metro station and 13 minutes to Wenchanggge metro station. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding alleys, with many options for noodles in the morning, and lively barbecue and crayfish spots in the evening."

"Our stay at the Changsha Marco Hotel was excellent overall! The location is superb, right above IFS (International Finance Square), with direct access to the mall from the 3rd floor, which made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. We booked a family room, which was decorated cutely and cozily, and our child absolutely loved it. The cleaning staff were very friendly and meticulous, doing a fantastic job, and even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The only minor drawback is that food delivery can't come directly to the room, making pickup a bit inconvenient. However, for a trip, this place offers great value for money."

The private hot spring with its floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the city at night made for such a relaxing and delightful soak. 3. **Spotless and Pristine Environment:** The entire room was immaculately clean, not a speck of dust or any unpleasant odors. Beside Sujia Lane on Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, a small red-brick building lies hidden. Before it stands an ancient statue that has gazed for a thousand years; inside, the memories of the Grain Bureau have settled for over half a century. Today, this rare Soviet-style red-brick building in Changsha is writing a brand‑new story for “Atour S.” A Dwelling Where Eras Meet Atour S Hotel, Changsha IFS Guojin Center Wuyi Square, is located at No. 36 Sujia Lane in the Baiguoyuan Historical and Cultural Block. Its predecessor was the office building of the Hunan Provincial Grain Bureau, first built in the 1950s. This three‑story red‑brick structure is a typical and rare example of Soviet‑style architecture in Changsha. It was listed as a Municipal Cultural Heritage Site in 2014 and selected as a “20th‑Century Chinese Architectural Heritage Site” in 2023. Nearby historical relics, such as the former printing site of Xiangjiang Review, give the area a rich cultural atmosphere. The Atour Group defines itself as “creating a sanctuary for body and mind.” Atour S is an upgraded line of Atour hotels – the “S” stands for “Special,” focusing on business travelers who seek quality living and offering premium experiences. The hotel fully preserves the building’s historic character and courtyard layout. Complete Amenities for the Ideal Business Stay The hotel offers various room types and facilities including a buffet breakfast (Xiang Zhao), a self‑service laundry (Chu Chen), a gym (Han Chu), the Zhu Ju reading space, and a small meeting room. The Atour S brand emphasizes the coexistence of art and practicality: public areas exude an artistic flair, while room design balances comfort with function, creating a gallery‑like visual experience and warm, home‑like service. “Zhu Ju” features a “flowing library” concept, offering a curated selection of books for guests to enjoy free of charge. “Chu Chen” laundry provides convenient clothing care for business travelers, continuing the Atour brand philosophy of being “humane, warm, and interesting.” Prime Location for Effortless Travel Located in the core commercial area of Changsha, the hotel offers outstanding convenience: 3‑minute walk to Huangxing Square Metro Station (Line 1) 5‑minute walk to IFS Guojin Center 5‑minute walk to Wuyi Square, Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, and Pozijie Street Approx. 8‑minute drive to Orange Isle, Yuelu Mountain, and other Changsha landmarks Sujia Lane also preserves a statue of the great Song‑Dynasty writer Su Xun and the legend of “Laoquan Biejing” (a secluded path named after his literary name), creating a delightful contrast with the 1950s Soviet‑style red‑brick building. This quaint, tranquil yet downtown lane allows you to experience Changsha’s old‑city charm while plunging instantly into its modern bustle and convenience. Here, you will find the historical depth of a century‑old red‑brick building, the distinctive taste of Atour S, and the utmost central convenience of Changsha. Business travel and quality living – both are yours to enjoy.

"Highly recommend Atour S Changsha Wuyi Square (formerly Hunan Provincial Grain Bureau Old Site)! This Soviet-style red-brick historical building from the 1950s, a Chinese 20th-century architectural heritage, perfectly preserves its original stone plaques, five-pointed star gatehouse, retro red walls, and era-specific slogans. It offers a unique historical charm amidst the bustling city, with tranquil and elegant courtyards and a strong cultural atmosphere. The biggest surprise was that the entire hotel was completely free of the musty smell common in old buildings or any renovation odors. The ventilation and sanitization were impeccable. The guest room furnishings were warm and soft, with thoughtful and meticulous arrangements, making for an exceptionally relaxing and comfortable stay. It completely sheds the impersonal feel of traditional hotels, providing a strong sense of home and belonging. The service was warm and attentive throughout: Front desk staff, Jiarong, handled check-in efficiently and gently, patiently guiding us on nearby attractions. We highly recommend the in-house photography service, Wei Yu Travel Photography; photographer Xiao Ming was very professional, actively guiding poses and selecting the best angles, and the final photos exceeded our expectations. When checking out and arranging for refunds and luggage storage, Miss Muhuo was meticulous and thoughtful, handling everything perfectly. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was top-notch. Staying in a historic old house and enjoying a comfortable and thoughtful travel experience, I left with a fantastic mood. This is definitely my first choice when visiting Changsha!"

GGuest UserI have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! The staff, especially those on duty on the 5th and 6th, were incredibly welcoming. From the moment I walked in until check-in, I felt completely at ease. What really put my mind at ease was the elevator control system on every floor – it felt very secure. And the biggest surprise was the face recognition system for both the elevators and room doors – so high-tech and convenient! My experience was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely be back!

__.KennethSo delighted with my stay at the Chaocong Ancient Street branch in Changsha! Tucked away on an old flagstone street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Step outside and you're surrounded by street food, and it's a short walk to Wuyi Square. The wabi-sabi style decor is chic and perfect for photos. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer and Le Labo toiletries, and the bedding is so comfortable I slept soundly. The concierge service was attentive and thoughtful, breakfast was plentiful, and they even had a unique 'magic cube' event where you could swap for milk tea. So many thoughtful details! This is definitely my top choice for travel, I'll be staying here again next time.

EEloise L.This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at by far. If I come back to Changsha, this will definitely be my go-to hotel from now on. First and foremost, the hotel is clean! That’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to hotels, and this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is also themed, so the atmosphere feels much more pleasant and unique compared to a lot of modern hotels. I especially loved the small library space they have. The room itself is spacious, and the layout is perfect. I like that there’s a separation between the toilet area and the shower area. I also appreciate that the windows can be opened for fresh air. Overall, the room is super quiet, which made the stay even more comfortable. The service is impeccable. Check-in was smooth, and they offer free laundry service and complimentary afternoon tea every day during your stay. You can also request bottled water for free, and the minibar is stocked with drinks and snacks that are all complimentary as well. Honestly, I can’t think of a single issue I had during my stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations. It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient. Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.

GGuest UserGetting to Orange Isle is super convenient; you can either walk across Xiangjiang Bridge or take the subway just one stop. It's also only about 3 stops to downtown areas like Wuyi Square. Environment: The surrounding area is a bit so-so, with a few construction sites, but it's very quiet. Service and hygiene were both excellent, making me feel right at home.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel by chance, and it was pretty clean. The hot water came out fast and had good pressure, and the air conditioning was excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, definitely worth trying – much better than the Zhou Ji noodles (my personal opinion), which were a complete mess. One minor issue: the toilet splashed water when you sat on it. On the bright side, the subway station is right on the -1 floor, making transportation very convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel butler contacted us a day in advance to ask if we had any special requests for the room. They tried their best to accommodate all our needs, arranging rooms on the same floor. The room itself was quite spacious, featuring a bathtub, sofa, and refrigerator, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and a good showerhead. There was a slight incident at the restaurant on check-out day regarding my child's breakfast, which was handled a bit too seriously. However, after I reported it to the butler, it was promptly resolved, so overall, it was still a good experience.

GGuest UserApproximate Spend: £84 (756 yuan). Very nicely furnished hotel in a very central area. One of the comfiest if not the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Great amenities with a mini bar that was replenished with each cleaning and a good hair dryer (which is so important). Good value! The only real issues I could mention were the toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner) were named in Chinese and had random, non-indicative English names, so I had to translate to actually pick the correct item. I totally understand why this is the case, but maybe it is worth mentioning for the hotel. The mini fridge just didn’t cool anything, and was more just a cupboard. And only one toilet roll was given at a time, which was not ideal given I was ill throughout my stay. These are all minor issues and certainly don’t detract from my stay.
