"The pictures from this place are well taken! The building is quite in need of renovation and the lifts don't look in the best shape at all. In our bedroom, the shower was leaking both from the shower head and from the tiles through the toilet and so was the air-conditioning - it kept dripping water in the middle of the room all night long. For the washing /drying machine theres only one of each, so it's constantly busy; I've used once and my clothes were taken off from the washer while someone else got their clothes to wash and dry. So far in my experience the hotel staff would take care of ”moving the queue” during the night and get the drying done for you/ moving clothes to dry/ removing from dryer but in the morning my clothes were back in the washing machine, still wet. Breakfast was ok. The bed was comfortable. The mini room is actually tiny and there's not a single shelf where you can put your stuff: we had two small backpacks and didn't manage so if you have luggage don't book this room. The view from the rooftop was actually amazing and the location was also super! So this isn't a horrible place but improvement can be made :)"

"Please excuse the messy room; after a five-day stay, it hadn't been cleaned. (It was my own laziness in not requesting cleaning, not the hotel's fault.)
Pros: It's a 6-minute walk to Chunxi Road subway station, and across the overpass is the bustling outer edge of the Chunxi Road commercial area, offering plenty of shopping. Right downstairs is a local Hongqi chain convenience store, making shopping convenient and prices normal. Across from the hotel, there's a popular hotpot restaurant, a traditional breakfast shop, and a fruit stand—very convenient.
Cons: The room was dim; the shower didn't work well, and the shower space was cramped. The cleanliness was just average, especially during the last two days when I woke up with itchy skin, and I'm not sure why.
Overall: Very good value for money, and the front desk was responsive. I would recommend staying here. My suggestion is for them to be a bit more thorough with the cleaning."

"❌ The bed has a faint cigarette smell even though I requested anti-smoke treatment and communicated that I'm particularly sensitive to smoke. Could be due to third-hand smoke which is understandably difficult to get rid off, BUT could still be prevented by making some rooms or one floor strictly smoke free.
❌ The provided two fluffy slippers are actually quite slippery in the elevated area. These aren't waterproof, and because the highlight of this hotel is the bathtub, I personally think It'd make sense to also provide two extra bath slippers that can be used in the shower as well as after bathing.
🟠 The bathrobes are fluffy and thick and would perhaps be more suitable for winter? Considering the baththub and current summer temperaturet, it might be convenient to switch to thinner, towel-like bath robes so that you can throw it on immediately after bathing.

"My stay at the Chengdu Lynn International Hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I originally booked it for its convenient location near IFS and Taikoo Li, but from the moment I stepped into the lobby, the experience was far better than I anticipated.
First, what impressed me most was the environment and ambiance. The hotel's exterior is modern and simple, but the interior cleverly incorporates elements of Shu culture. The public areas are adorned with panda plushies and various art pieces, creating a quiet yet stylish atmosphere. Our room, located on a non-smoking floor, was spacious and bright. The bedding was soft and dry, the curtains provided excellent blackout, and the soundproofing was very effective.
I have to specifically praise the staff's service. From the front desk to the room attendants, everyone greeted us with a smile and was eager to help. Their genuine and unforced enthusiasm made us feel very comfortable.
The biggest bonus of this stay was the complimentary lacquer fan making activity offered by the hotel. In the afternoon, a teacher in the lobby patiently guided the children in mixing lacquer and painting fan surfaces. I initially thought it would be a casual activity, but the finished products turned out to be surprisingly elegant and traditional. Once dry, they carried a subtle lacquer scent, making for a unique souvenir and a perfect cooling accessory for subsequent days of sightseeing – fanning ourselves with our handmade fans while strolling through Taikoo Li definitely got us some admiring glances.
Equally heartwarming was the complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. It was peak summer, and after a full day of sightseeing, we were hot. Returning to the hotel, we enjoyed afternoon tea and pastries, complete with chilled 'Bingfen' (ice jelly) and 'Guilinggao' (herbal jelly) along with thoughtful toppings. The hotel's attentiveness truly earned a perfect score from me.
Finally, the location is absolutely 'top-notch.' An 8-minute walk to the left leads directly to IFS, with that famous climbing panda practically at your doorstep."

"Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

"Stayed here for the second time during our trip in Chengdu. Mainly because of the location and also the friendly staff. They were helpful to allow early check-in when we first arrive since there were rooms available. They also extended our checkout time to 2 pm for free. The front desk stuff also helped me with my Taobao refund issue. The hotel also helps to receive parcels from Taobao and when I needed to refund some of the parcels, the hotel staff helped to pass to the courier for pickup since i was out exploring the city. Definitely recommend!"

I spent a long time looking before I decided to book this place, and I was really nervous before checking in, worried the environment wouldn't be good or it wouldn't be clean enough. When we checked in, the front desk attendant was very responsible and told us about the hotel's situation, then showed us the room. It was genuinely spotless, the disposable amenities were complete, and the water temperature was perfect – very accommodating for someone like me who needs good sleep! The only minor drawback was that our room was close to the road, so it was a little noisy, but it wasn't a big deal. After a long day of sightseeing, we were so tired that once the curtains were closed, it didn't really affect our sleep. All in all, this stay far exceeded my expectations!"

"The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the soundproofing is great – I slept soundly all night. It's right next to the subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. Highly recommend! The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding soft, and the front desk service was warm and welcoming. I'll definitely come back next time! They even provided an umbrella in the room, which was a thoughtful touch. And that rocking chair was perfect for someone like me. Overall, very comfortable, cozy, and spacious. The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of the bustling commercial district, yet surprisingly quiet. This 'peace amidst the hustle' vibe is a huge plus. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly warm. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, taking the time to explain local sightseeing routes. Any requests I had were addressed super quickly. The common areas are kept spotlessly clean and elegant; there were no strange odors in the hallways or elevators. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfect for both tourists and those on a short stay. I felt completely at ease and comfortable throughout my entire visit.

AAina1008What a wonderful place! Tucked away in the back makes it quiet and serene, while still being at the center of the traditional Wenshu Monastary area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers, i was a solo female and stayed in the dorms with other friendly guests.
Lovely inner courtyard with a cafe for relaxing and drinking tea. The staff are all so friendly and ready to give you all the tips on what to do in Chengdu. They speak perfect English as well! There are a lot of regular visitors, since people keep wanting to come back.
The rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made, with fresh towels provided. Everyday felt like I had just checked in, brand new.
Breakfast has a range of western (toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal) or chinese (rice, wontons, fried pancakes..) and fresh fruit that changes from day to day. All ranges of coffee and tea as well. It filled me up well to start my day walking around the city!
Definitely recommend to anyone, and I will be staying here next time I visit! Thank you :)

XXixixikaI originally chose this hotel because it's only 3km from the city center, surrounded by upscale shopping areas, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. From the moment I checked in, the doorman downstairs helped with my luggage and patiently waited while I bought water, truly making me feel at home. The housekeeping staff are always fully uniformed and incredibly thorough with their cleaning. A special thanks goes to Andy at the front desk, who was incredibly patient when I returned late at night, explaining the menu, how to use the TV's screen mirroring, and the restaurant's location. He even patiently helped me search online for a Qingcheng Mountain day tour when I expressed interest. The hotel's restaurant also boasts very authentic Sichuan flavors. The service attitude, from top to bottom, is absolutely perfect. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu.

My high-floor room was a delightful surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive, boundless view, bringing the entire city landscape right into my sight. During the day, I could look down upon the sprawling buildings and intricate street networks, taking in the vibrant pulse of the city. As night fell, countless lights twinkled on, and the shimmering flow of lights unfolded before my eyes, allowing me to solely enjoy the romantic nightscape of the city. Just standing by the window dissolved all travel fatigue; the view and ambiance were absolutely top-notch.
The in-room amenities were incredibly comprehensive. All the equipment was brand new and fully stocked, including smart home features, branded bathroom fixtures, high-quality bedding, and comfortable soft furnishings. The space was elegantly arranged and organized, with a thoughtful and practical wet/dry separation design in the bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, and the hardware functioned flawlessly. It was quiet and peaceful during rest, striking a perfect balance between quality and practicality, so even a long stay wouldn't feel cramped.
Downstairs and in the surrounding area, there's a rich and diverse food scene. Local specialties, exquisite Chinese cuisine, creative light meals, and unique snacks are all scattered around. The variety of cuisines is incredibly wide, with a rich, inviting aroma of local life lingering in the air. Finding meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was abundant, and I could savor diverse flavors without traveling far. Food lovers will definitely find it hard not to adore this place.
What impressed me most was the exclusive butler service; their sense of discretion was just right. From check-in and luggage assistance to travel route inquiries and responding to daily needs, the entire process was meticulous and thoughtful. Their responses were prompt and gentle, proactively caring without being intrusive, fully balancing guests' privacy with an excellent service experience.
The location, views, facilities, food, and service were all top-tier, offering both convenience and a high-end living experience. The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable travel experience!

There are a couple of areas for improvement. The hotel is not actually within the Kuanzhai Alley area as we had expected, and there is not much to explore within the immediate surroundings. In addition, the soundproofing could be better, as some noise from outside and neighboring rooms could occasionally be heard.
That said, the cleanliness, comfort, and generous room size more than made up for these minor drawbacks. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would gladly consider staying here again.

GGuest UserOur hot spring trip was fantastic, with a smooth and pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. The butler's warm and thoughtful assistance made us feel incredibly well taken care of. The hotel's location is convenient, just an hour's drive from Chengdu, with easy parking. They also offer a shuttle service, and having parking spots in the villa area was very convenient, making travel hassle-free. We even received a complimentary afternoon tea. When the butler learned I would be arriving a bit late, they thoughtfully arranged to have it delivered to my room in advance and provided turn-down service, which was a very nice touch.
Upon arrival, the staff meticulously explained the breakfast times, meal arrangements, and various entertainment options. The detailed and attentive service ensured we had a wonderful time. 😊

XXiaoxiaobaidemama❤️Traveling to Chengdu with my kids during the summer, and this hotel's butler service was a lifesaver! The biggest worries when bringing energetic kids to Chengdu in the summer are the heat, long queues, and meltdowns. This time, I chose the City Hotel next to Tianfu Square, and the location is truly unbeatable. The subway entrance is right outside, and it's just a short ride to Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli, so there was no need to expose the kids to the blazing sun and hassle. But what I want to praise most is their butler service! I added them on WeChat in advance, and they sent a detailed 'Summer Family Travel Guide,' clearly marking where to see pandas and which hot pot restaurants offer kids' meals. After checking in, my child felt a bit unwell from heatstroke, and the butler immediately brought Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke) and cooling patches. They even helped us adjust our itinerary and recommended an air-conditioned route to cool off at the Chengdu Museum. The kids had a blast, and the adults weren't exhausted – this is how summer vacations should be!

Check-in at the front desk was efficient and the service was warm and friendly. The location is super convenient and it offers great value for money.
