"This is our second time staying at the Wanda Vista Hotel, and also our second time in one of their villa rooms. The room was very quiet and private! It was incredibly spacious, so much so that when we checked out, we were constantly searching for our belongings. More importantly, it had a private pool and hot tub. We stayed for two days this time and didn't go anywhere else. The kids loved playing in the water, and they spent both days happily splashing around at the hotel."

"The location here is quite convenient, very close to Red Earth Beach, about a 20-minute walk. Wetland Park is a 10-minute taxi ride away.
The room decoration is excellent, and the amenities are top-notch, with lots of smart features. It's also very clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, there's afternoon tea with good milk tea and cake.
The only downside is that cars pass by downstairs, which can sometimes be a bit noisy.
However, overall, I still found it very comfortable and satisfying."

"Choosing Hilton was the best decision for our Fuxian Lake trip. The hotel is located by the lake, nestled at the foot of Sun Mountain, and boasts its own private beach. Between the lobby and the beach, there's a sprawling European-style garden that's perfect for photos.
Initially, we booked a mountain view room, but upon arrival, we paid extra to upgrade to a lake view executive room. Being on a higher floor with a direct lake view, the scenery was absolutely unbeatable – just take a look at the first two pictures! The sunset clouds were breathtaking in the evening; we watched the entire perfect sunset from our room's balcony without even leaving.
While the facilities are a bit older, the room size was adequate and fully equipped.
There are both Chinese and Western restaurants, and the per-person cost was quite reasonable. After sunset, there's a fire dance performance, and there's also a paid petting zoo. You can truly enjoy a perfect vacation without even leaving the hotel."

"This is our top choice for a family vacation with kids in Fuxian Lake. As the newest five-star hotel, its price is also the lowest among the five-star options, and the architectural style is quite distinctive. We had a room for two adults and one child, and while the room originally included two breakfasts, after a quick chat and request, they kindly provided breakfast for our child as well, which was excellent. The breakfast spread was extensive, and our little one especially loved the yogurt and pancakes. The room itself was much nicer than the pictures, with a spacious balcony. The bedding was comfortable, and the room was quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep for us and the kids. The front desk staff and concierges Yuki, Kiki, and Barry were always responsive and incredibly efficient in resolving any issues. My only suggestion is that the service at the Chinese restaurant was too slow. We ordered their signature 'crossing-the-bridge noodles,' and when we placed the order, we were told it would come with two portions of noodles, but only one arrived. The other portion was delayed significantly, even after several inquiries, and the staff seemed quite unfamiliar with the process. I also hope they can diversify their menu a bit more. We came to Fuxian Lake hoping to try local fish, but the restaurant didn't offer any. I hope they can improve on this!"

"I had a sudden trip during the Spring Festival and many hotels were sold out. After choosing for a long time, I accidentally saw this newly opened B&B. In fact, I have always preferred staying in hotels because many B&Bs are scams. There are countless B&Bs with similar hotel quality but located in beautiful scenery... But I didn't make any mistakes this time! The actual check-in experience is very good, with thoughtful decoration. The room quality is very satisfactory to the children and family. It is clean and cozy. The view overlooking the mountains and the distance gives you a full sense of vacation. It is a quiet place in the bustling Spring Festival! ! Very satisfied! "A kid's paradise, they didn't want to leave! If we hadn't already booked a trip to Dali with my parents, we would have definitely stayed a few more days. Fuxian Lake's water quality feels much cleaner, and compared to other hotels in the area, Dolphin Bay offers excellent 'quality-to-price ratio.' As a Trip.com user, we also received a voucher set, which made our two-day, one-night stay packed with activities. I think a three-day, two-night stay would be more ideal to fully enjoy everything. Front desk agent #010 was great and gave us a room with a balcony since it was available, highly recommend!"

"We initially booked a guesthouse for our first night at Fuxian Lake, but upon arrival, we found the environment less than ideal and the room quite disappointing. We promptly cancelled the next two nights and booked the Xiyuan Hotel instead. Located in Guanglong Town, while the lake view wasn't as good as some hotels and guesthouses near Moon Bay (it's farther from the lake), the surrounding area was incredibly convenient. There were many restaurants nearby serving the famous stone pot fish, and Xingguang Hotel was within walking distance. Parking was free.
Most importantly, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom even played music automatically during the shower – so fun! Staying at Xiyuan was definitely the right decision!"

XimenningyanThe room is on the fourth floor, clean and sanitary. The four-piece suit and bath towels are very comfortable. There are two kinds of pillows with moderate hardness and softness. The toiletries are very useful. The room is not big but it has everything it should have. The kettle is clean and easy to use. The disposable slippers are of good quality. There is also a laundry room on the roof for drying. The water flow of the shower is not too strong and I hope it can be improved. I don't like the smart toilet flushing when I sit down. Breakfast is clean and sanitary rice noodles, corn and eggs. There is also a bar downstairs where you can drink coffee and wine. Outside the door is a beautiful lotus pond. The village is very clean and there are many beautiful plants and flowers. It is only a few minutes' walk from the lake. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He provides a lot of help. The recommended restaurants and morning markets are very good. It is convenient to take a taxi, and there are also shared electric motorcycles for rent in the surrounding area. In short, it is a homestay worth coming again.

The entry is so calming. A nice open space with plants all around. The Chinese couple owning the Hotel were very sweet even though we couldn’t converse with them (they didn’t speak English and we can’t speak Chinese). They let us store our two bicycles in the house. The room is large and the bathroom is massive. There’s a bit of road noise with the windows open (on the second level). There’s no lift. They owner walked us to a neighbouring restaurant which was very nice. In the morning they both saw us off on our ride.

Guest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

A truly wonderful hotel, impeccably curated down to every detail, from the color palette to the lighting, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start, offering us local teas and explaining their origins with genuine passion, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast is simple yet very good, with fresh, well-chosen products.

The location of the homestay is quite good. It is almost halfway up the mountain in Xiaowan B&B Village. It is not too far to walk back from Xiaowan Village Committee, and it is not particularly high and has a certain height. You can see the sunset and Fuxian Lake in the distance. The fly in the ointment is that the toilet location is a bit high, the mattress is slightly soft, not suitable for people who like to sleep harder, and the rice noodles and noodles for breakfast are too light. However, the homestay is still very suitable for vacation, will recommend it to friends around you

The environment is good, there are also food nearby, the boss will help find a parking space, it is about two kilometers away from Moon Bay. Disadvantages: 1. Check-in is slow, the boss also took photos of the children and ID cards, which made me feel uneasy, afraid that the children's information would be leaked, the boss remembered to delete the photos of my children. 2. There are not many tissues provided, only a small roll in the toilet, and no tissue outside, which is not friendly to friends who don't bring tissues.

The transportation is relatively convenient. It is just a short walk across from Moon Bay and not far from the Fossil Museum. The lady at the front desk is also very welcoming. The room is neat and clean. There is a large window that can see the whole view of Fuxian Lake. It is very beautiful. The bed is also very soft and comfortable. The lighting in the room is very soft. We also rent a car downstairs. It is also convenient for visiting the surrounding scenic spots. .

Very suitable hotel for leisure vacation, the front desk lady has a good service attitude, I can't find the parking lot, she patiently guided me to park, the lake view of the room is simply amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows are very beautiful and you can see the whole Fuxian Lake (recommend the 180-degree full lake view room), there are many restaurants downstairs, it is very convenient to eat, the Moon Bay scenic area opposite has a Sanya feel, after checking in, ask the hotel for a park card and you can enter the park for free, there is a white sand beach in the park where you can take your children to play in the sand, and take pictures. It is recommended to travel off-peak, the cost performance is really high, this time I stayed in the most cost-effective hotel in Fuxian Lake.

The first floor of the hotel is the restaurant. You can eat when you are lazy. The room is clean and the bed is sleeping. And the scenery outside the room is also good, you can see the beautiful Fuxian Lake, the front desk service is also thoughtful, and the hygiene and cleaning are also timely and intimate.
