"It is across the road from Guilin West Station, a little further up the road. This is supposed to be a suburb. I didn't feel anything when I checked in during the day, but when I went out and came back in a taxi at night, it was pitch black everywhere, with no people and no shops, which was quite scary. I chose a room close to the high-speed rail station because I had to catch a train early in the morning. But the room was unexpected. We booked a parent-child room, which was very large, with good decoration and bedding. The facilities are a little old, and the bathroom has a dry and wet separation. There are only 2-3 such village homestays nearby, and this room should be the best. There is a farm restaurant in the village next to it. We had dinner at Pan's Restaurant in the city. The restaurant is very old and the environment is very average, but the taste is like those old restaurants. The Pipa Duck and Plum Spare Ribs we ordered are not bad, and the blanched cuttlefish is just average. The four dishes for three people cost less than 200 yuan."

"The hotel is newly opened, and the first stay experience is really good. The room is not big but very cozy, enough for one person to live in, and has all the necessary facilities. What else do you need for this price? The service of the guy at the front desk was very good. He sent me tissues and hangers to the room. It is very convenient to eat nearby. I also went to Yongning Square. There is a grilled cold noodles restaurant that is particularly delicious. I will choose to stay here when I come to Guilin in the future."

"I happened to visit Guilin during the rainy season, so I barely went out and spent almost the entire day at the hotel. On the day I checked in, I arrived quite early, and since they had rooms available, they allowed me to check in ahead of time, which was very thoughtful. The service and reception throughout my stay felt very natural; they weren't constantly trying to upsell me on things. Since I spent most of my time in the hotel room, I got to explore all its features. Even though my room wasn't on a very high floor, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I *stumbled upon a chicken pot restaurant*, and as soon as the rain let up, I went out to try it. And with that, my trip to Guilin came to an abrupt end."

There is only one laundry room and you have to wait in line for a long time to wash clothes.
I recommend this room type to those who like duplexes. I prefer ordinary river view rooms with refrigerators, large bathrooms and toilets. It is not convenient to climb a duplex with a child."

I checked again before getting off the high-speed train the next day and found that no car appointment was arranged. Fortunately, I confirmed again in advance and made a temporary car appointment. I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel for two nights, and I can truly say it was an unforgettable experience. The owners—a fantastic and lovely couple—made me feel more like a welcomed guest in their home than just a visitor at a hotel. The hotel itself is like a small palace, full of charm and character, and even features its own museum, which adds a unique and fascinating touch.
Every single moment spent here was pure joy. The ambience is simply magical—peaceful, elegant, and full of history. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special, treating me with genuine kindness and care. The entire place was impeccably clean, and it’s clear that a lot of love and attention goes into maintaining this gem.
This is not the kind of hotel you come across every day. It’s truly one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have discovered it. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’ll definitely be coming back

Guest UserI spent a long time searching on Ctrip before, and I saw this Shiyu Smart Hotel with its fresh-looking pictures and knowing it was newly renovated, well-decorated, and highly rated. So I navigated here. The lobby was very clean and bright, looking quite upscale. I actually booked after arriving at the hotel. I've had experiences before where I booked online and then the actual place was totally different, so I usually check out a place in person before booking. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew it was a good choice. My stay experience was genuinely excellent, definitely worth praising! It's just a few minutes' walk from the North Station. The room also had a faint, pleasant scent. It features voice AI control and a projector, making it very smart. The bed and floor in the room were spotless and very tidy. It looked incredibly comfortable. The bedding was also great, and the mattress was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. The hotel staff were very warm and helpful. My stay exceeded my expectations; at this price point, it's incredibly good value. It truly feels like a star-rated experience. Staying in a hotel like this for this price is just too good, an amazing deal. It was extremely clean and tidy. When I come back to Guilin for Chinese New Year, I'll definitely stay here again.

The room has a lot of character, and the padlock on the door gives it a very retro feel. The housekeeper was very attentive, giving us a tour of the ancient village and offering explanations, and was also very enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage. The village is very quiet during the off-season, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It really helps you slow down, and if you have the time, staying here for a few days would be incredibly comfortable and relaxing. There are also many special activities for children to experience, and in the summer, you can even play in the water. Every spot is perfect for photos, and the villagers are very nice too.

This hotel gives us the feeling of a paradise🤩Quiet, cozy, and especially relaxing😊I didn't expect that such a treasure hotel is hidden in this small village🤩I like the design and decoration of the room very much, the bedding is super comfortable, and the breakfast is simple but very fresh, all homemade eggs, sweet potatoes, and fresh meat rice noodles, which are especially fragrant😍We stayed for three nights in a row and were still not satisfied. Crossing the bridge to Maozhou Island Pier and taking a boat to Dayu Ancient Town is also a very special travel experience. It was a great accommodation experience for the first time👍The fairy who served the homestay was very nice and answered all the questions. Special thanks❤️

aimeswongOpened only a year ago, this hotel looks exactly how the photos are on trip.com. Location is super close (5 minutes) walk to Guilinbei station. So very convenient if you are traveling on high speed rail or even if you want to catch a cheap bus no.100 (30 minutes) which gets you to the touristy center area of Guilin. Didi there only around RMB 15 rmb if you don't like buses!
Room is super clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. I actually only stayed 1 night. In future if I visit Guilin I'll rather stay and book this hotel than to stay in the Guilin center which is double the price and much much older hotels! Friendly and helpful owner too which makes the stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!
Note: fast wifi and free laundry area up the roof.

This hotel is very strange. The name sounds high-sounding, but it is strange that there are only two pairs of plastic slippers. I asked the front desk if they have disposable slippers? The answer is no. This is a minus! The rest is OK. The price is cheap and it is ok to live in. There is a vegetable market and many noodle shops nearby, so it is quite convenient to eat.

The guesthouse is located next to Daxu Ancient Town, just a two- or three-minute walk from the town and pier. You can see ancient buildings from the windows; the Li River flows by, and the decor is antique and elegant. The owner is warm and welcoming, making it highly recommended. However, the lively chatter of geese and roosters behind the guesthouse, along with the morning crowing of a rooster, adds a unique touch. The last two pictures show the specialty tofu that the owner of the small tavern opposite the guesthouse highly recommends.
