"Wonderful place and people. The staff are really kind and helpful. They make the hostel experience worthwhile. The dorms beds are really private and comfortable. Everything is really clean. The hostel is a short walk from the old street and the temple which is truly magnificent. Everything was very clean. The only odd thing is they don't provide towels, you can rent one for 3 yuan but this wasn't explained at check in. Everything else was superb."

"The location of this homestay could not be any better, right next to the ancient town and the birth house of the 7th Dalai Lama. It’s also only a short walk to the Litang Monastery. The host is friendly, helpful and communicative. Note that this is a true homestay with a large shared room for people to gather. The host invited us to ******* milk tea and drinks, which was lovely and stood out!
Unfortunately, the rooms are quite dated and not very clean, with dust and hair from previous occupants on the floor and couch. The bathroom and toilet were also not clean, and there was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom.
That said, the host did her best to remedy this and the price for the room was also more than fair!"

"After a whole day stuck in traffic on Route 318, we finally arrived in Litang late at night, dusty and tired. We booked the Hanting Hotel, and though the price was a bit high, it was totally worth it! First, when we checked in that night, they saw we weren't feeling well and, realizing it was altitude sickness, immediately gave us Coke to help. They didn't rush us at all, constantly telling us to take our time. When we asked for an extra blanket for the kids, they brought it right away. Their attitude was excellent. The breakfast was also delicious, and the lady working there was incredibly nice too. Everything was so thoughtful. The next morning, feeling better, I wanted to do some laundry. The front desk lady patiently guided me and answered all my questions. A huge shoutout to Ms. Ciden Zhima! She helped us solve so many problems and added a lot of pleasant experiences to our trip."

"I initially chose this Zangbala Hotel because I had ”no other choice,” but the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was very warm, and with the electric blanket, I had a cozy night's sleep in the chilly Litang. The service was also good, and they responded to my needs promptly. Although there weren't many options, the stay was quite satisfactory, and I have to give it a five-star rating."

"First, I want to say that the service and environment of the establishment were excellent. Secondly, I didn't mention that I was a reviewer for the InterContinental Hotel. However, the service was excellent for everyone. Here are my suggestions:
Facilities: The toilet had no water. There was no water to flush after using the toilet. I suggest the establishment repair this.
Cleanliness: The cleaning lady may not have been thorough enough. The light switches were covered in dust.
Diffuse oxygen supply: I suggest adding an indicator sticker to the machine.
Service: The service was impeccable. We arrived quite late. The establishment was very attentive, waiting for us and even coming to meet us at the door to make sure we couldn't find it. They also asked if we needed any help with our luggage.
My suggestion is to replace the toilet paper in the room with facial tissues. Currently, they use rolls, and when you pull them, the whole box falls to the floor."

"This was the fastest hotel booking I've ever made. My child was suffering from severe altitude sickness, so we just looked at two and booked them right away, eager to check in as soon as possible. The handsome guy at the front desk was incredibly helpful. They even provided an extra oxygen concentrator that we had purchased but didn't have. The only thing that needs improvement is the room cleanliness; hopefully, they'll clean it thoroughly after guests check out! There was road construction in front of the hotel when we checked in, which was a bit of a downer, but it should be fine once the construction is finished!"

The room was very clean and tidy, even the bed in the standard room was very wide and comfortable. The boss family was very religious and very high-quality people. Living in their home was very comfortable, very relaxing and very comfortable.

The host thoughtfully provided travel tips, responded promptly, and provided attentive service—warmer than a hotel, offering exceptional value for money. Stepping into the room was like entering a tranquil haven; the decor was exquisite and stylish, with thoughtful details everywhere. The view from the window was delightful, and the nights were peaceful and restful. The host was gentle and caring, making me feel as comfortable as if I were at a friend's house. Comfortable hotel in remote town. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean with stylish rooms. The staff are very friendly, though some are a bit too casual (e.g. smoking while setting up the breakfast buffet). I stayed here twice as did my friend and on each occasion our rooms were missing things that they had on other occasions...e.g. mineral water, toiletries, humidifiers. Some of the lights in the room are sensor activated and came on several times during the night. Also, on one occasion the power went out for almost an hour. I would stay again though. This region has developed very fast and its impressive that this standard of hotel exists here already. I'm sure the little glitches will occur in other Litang hotels too. The food in the 8F cafe was very good and great value.

Great hostel especially if you’re a cyclist. Lots of cyclists stop here on their way to Lhasa, there is space to keep your bike and there’s an attached bike shop if you need any parts or maintenance help. As for the hostel there’s a nice common area with free water, the hosts are lovely and the dorms are clean and comfortable, albeit pretty simple. But it’s very cheap so no complaints. Only complaint I would have is the cleanliness of the toilets. Unfortunately other guests leave them in a mess sometimes.

Guest UserWe were able to get a ride from Yading to Litang via a carpool service, and the driver dropped us off directly at the hotel. The accommodation itself was well-equipped with underfloor heating and an oxygen concentrator. The owner, who is also a musician, spoke excellent English. In the evening, they lit a stove, and we could have enjoyed music and dancing with them, but we were too tired and went to bed early. They were incredibly kind, even preparing a PDF file with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which they shared with us on WeChat. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the Old Town, Baita Park, and King Gesar Square. For breakfast, the host's mother prepared a simple yet delicious meal of cherry tomatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, and mung bean porridge. My sister, who is a picky eater, found the mung bean porridge so tasty that she had two bowls! They even gave us a ride to the Litang bus terminal for our journey to Kangding. The host, a big fan of 'Running Man,' was truly the kindest. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer, as it rained on the day we arrived and the weather remained poor the next day. We had also accumulated fatigue from over six weeks of high-altitude travel, and the stay in Yading village brought on altitude sickness, which continued, compounded by the low atmospheric pressure due to the rain. Litang is a city at an altitude of 4000 meters. I really wanted to see Mount Genyen and visit Litang Temple, but due to the rain, I couldn't. If another opportunity arises in the autumn or May, this is a guesthouse I'd love to revisit.

The facilities are excellent, and the service is great. Oxygen is provided in the room from 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM every night, which was very comfortable, and I didn't experience altitude sickness. The room has heating, and the intensity is adjustable. The hotel is at an altitude of nearly 4000 meters. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the environment is superb. There is a Tesla Supercharger available! However, the oxygen supply is a bit noisy, so I recommend bringing earplugs.

The room was really nice, but there were some issues. The ceiling was leaking water overnight. A constant drip sound and water on the floor, luckily not on the bed. My bathroom also has drainage problems. The floor was also very dusty and dirty. It was explained in the morning when a sledge hammer was being used on the floor above starting at 8am. Not a big issue, but they also didn't give me the obligatory two bottles of water. I had to boil my own. No heating, but there is an electric blanket.
This will be a good hotel once they sort a few issues out.

The proprietress is very good. Seeing that we are cold, we are afraid that we will directly plug the hot tea oxygen generator without saying anything. We have ～ moved 🥹🥹 and electric blankets. The week here is very comfortable. ～ The burger and butter latte of the homestay are forced! ! ! There are a lot of meat stuffing, and the butter latte is very delicate. It is not comfortable to have a cup in this day.
