"The homestay is located on the pedestrian street right outside Luoyi Old City. It is easier to access through the parking lot at the back, though most taxi driver will refuse to reach there as the street is pretty narrow. Although the homestay follows old Chinese theme for all rooms and furniture, everything is new and clean. We even had water filter machine. There’s a separate laundry room that you can use for free. We were lucky that our room was at the very back, far from the noisy pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who prefer staying close the to old city to take photoshoot in Chinese costumes."

However, what truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service provided by Manager Li Manli. Her professionalism and problem-solving skills were outstanding. "Out of the Jinjiang, Huazhu, and Intercontinental hotels we stayed at during our 5-day trip, this Intercontinental was the only one I immediately wanted to give a glowing review to. We were two adults with one child, and at every hotel, we'd ask the front desk for kids' toiletries. This was the only hotel that proactively sent kids' bath towels to our room without us even asking (even though we had our own disposable towels and didn't use theirs). This small detail alone shows how meticulous and thoughtful their service is, and it's definitely made me a huge fan of Intercontinental hotels!"

"Locarion is nearby to Luoyi Ancient Town. The room service was superb. The hostess upgrades us to bigger room when there's availability. All other staff will help us in making the stay comfortable, including helping us move our luggages to the other rooms when needed. The hostess recommended us places to eat and helped to call to confirm our Empress Wu feast seats. Absolutely a delight to stay there."

"Stayed at the Tongque Hotel for two days in Luoyang, and overall it was fantastic. They have their own dedicated parking lot. The most crucial thing is the hotel's great location, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The service was exceptional. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Our room was also very spacious, and we slept incredibly comfortably. They provided four bottles of mineral water daily. The hotel is very quiet because it doesn't have many rooms. I'm really glad I chose this place; I saw other reviews saying this hotel was excellent, and now I'm leaving my own review. Luoyang has low prices and incredibly warm service. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"The room was clean, spacious, and bright, with fresh air. The bed was just the right firmness. The hotel is in a quiet spot despite being centrally located, and it's very convenient for visiting Luoyi Ancient City. There are two lovely cats that are super friendly and well-behaved. The staff provided thoughtful, attentive, and detailed service. My son especially loved the smart home features. I'll definitely recommend it to friends."

Environment: The guesthouse's location is perfect! It's just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Ancient City and Shizijie. Cleanliness: The room was spacious and spotless! Facilities: The room featured smart home appliances, and the zero-pressure, spine-friendly mattress was super comfortable and helped us relax after a long day. The price was also very affordable, offering excellent value for money. If I get the chance to visit Luoyang again, I'll definitely choose to stay here!"

"I chose to come to Luoyang because I saw the hotel's promotional video. I chose to come to his house. I was really not disappointed. The room was big and beautiful. The new hotel had no taste. The service was very intimate and I had nothing to say! Next time I come to Luoyang, I will choose his home. It is a pleasant hotel."

"To be honest, Luoyang International completely exceeded my expectations. It truly deserves its five-star rating, from the service to the hardware facilities. I'm so glad I decided to upgrade to an executive room upon arrival; the experience was absolutely fantastic. Every single staff member at the lounge was incredibly kind! I honestly found the lounge food to be delicious! Happy hour consists of a self-serve buffet and à la carte main courses. That hot and sour Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, in particular, was amazing!!! So, so good! I ate it two days in a row. However, I did find the afternoon tea mini cakes to be a bit average and not quite to my taste. Cocktail hour in the evening was also a big hit. The bartender, Ethan, was exceptionally friendly and kind! His name is Ethan, and he's really a wonderful person! The cocktails he made were perfectly to my liking. He even mentioned he taught himself how to make Mojitos, haha! And he kept saying he wasn't confident in his bartending skills! But I thought they were delicious! Truly, really delicious!!! No exaggeration, seriously. Every single staff member in the lounge was absolutely wonderful! I've had such a fantastic time these past few days! If I had to mention any downsides: Firstly, the fried food issue. The fried items at breakfast were soggy. I tried the hash browns again on the second day, and I wondered why they seemed so crispy – turns out they were completely dried out! And the whole batch in that warmer was dry. I think the hotel's heat lamps could use some adjustment; it felt like there was no heat under them whenever I went to get food, which might affect how fried items are kept. This was also an issue with the fried items in the lounge – very soggy. Secondly, the hotel doormen. I feel like this was a bit hit-or-miss. On our first day, when we arrived, there was a doorman at the entrance, and we were the only car there, but he was on his phone. He was a young man with glasses. I'm not sure if he was dealing with work or something else. We had to call out to him when we couldn't manage our luggage anymore before he came to help us. The second night we returned to the hotel, there was no one to greet the car or assist. However, on our checkout day and the young man who helped us change rooms were both exceptionally good! He seemed to be an intern and was incredibly proactive and diligent in everything he did! Many thanks to this young man! I regret not catching his name. The cleaning lady was also excellent. Thank you to every staff member at the hotel! I will definitely choose this hotel again! The service truly impressed me! Especially every staff member in the lounge! A big shout-out to the lounge team! Thank you all! I had a wonderful time in the lounge these past few nights!"

"This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel."
