"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"The facilities are very new, probably just renovated. Everything feels fresh. What a coincidence! We had a double celebration and needed a one-bedroom, two-hall suite, and they happened to have this exact room type – it was perfect! They even had electronic firecrackers when we arrived.
The hotel is right outside the high-speed train station, only 200 meters away, which is incredibly convenient.
The front desk staff were always smiling and provided excellent, warm service, even giving us extra bottles of water. It's definitely worth using as a wedding room, and the overall price wasn't expensive. Even Mazu would give it a thumbs up! 👍"

"I highly recommend the Hilton Putian Sanfang! The location is absolutely superb, right in the commercial and government hub. It's within walking distance of the Xinghua Mansion historical district, and there's direct bus access to the Meizhou Island ferry terminal, making getting around incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, I received a warm DoubleTree cookie, and the front desk kindly upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the Crabtree & Evelyn amenities were a nice touch.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, with some hidden Putian specialties. The fried wontons, oyster cakes, and noodle paste were authentic and flavorful, and the freshly squeezed juices and made-to-order seafood congee were fantastic. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a free indoor pool and fitness center. The staff were enthusiastic and professional, always ready to answer any questions. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a perfect fit and offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Putian!"

"This hotel was recently renovated this year. The room was spacious and clean with no unpleasant odors. All the amenities inside were brand new and excellent. There's parking available right outside. While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there are plenty of small eateries right downstairs on the street, one after another. The front desk staff were all enthusiastic and always ready to help. It's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended!"

"I came to Putian to run a marathon. The service and environment were very good. The item that deducted points was the air-conditioning outdoor unit. Like a guy in the comment section, I was woken up by the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit at two o'clock in the middle of the night (most people in commercial areas are reluctant to turn on the heating air-conditioning, and only other hotel tenants are using air-conditioning). Afterwards, I couldn't fall asleep while listening to the rumbling air-conditioning outdoor unit. Of course this is not the hotel owner's fault. I myself am very sensitive to sound, but it did make it really uncomfortable for me to run the marathon the next day, and I was in very bad shape. A suggestion is to prepare disposable earplugs and noise-reducing earmuffs, which can be provided free of charge or for a fee if tenants need them. In general, I am very satisfied with other aspects and highly recommend it."

Seeing Putian's sights from this hotel is easy with South Gate Lizhi Park, Sanqing Palace, Yuanmiao Taoist Temple and Nanhu Park all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Putian hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling on business.
"Overall, the room are clean, and spacious. Front desk are helpful as well even upgrade our room. The downside for this hotel is everywhere got smoke smell. From elevators to room corridor, all with smoking smell. Even though we choose non smoking floor, but still got smoke smell throughout the stay. Maybe because there is a KTV on 4th & 5th floor. Not recommend if come with small children."

XXiangjianfeidebojueGenerally speaking, it is a B&B that is geared towards family travel. Whether it is the garden next to the building or the rooms inside the building, there are many facilities for parents and children to enjoy. (But personally, I just go for the quietness of mountain living, and the non-smoking for family and children. I chose this B&B instead.)
Unlike some other B&Bs that use sightseeing cars to pick up and drop off, the proprietress of this one drives her own big bread, which is faster and more comfortable. It is recommended. (If it is your first time traveling to Meizhou Island, it is best to call before and after boarding the boat. B&B owner, it just so happens that the drive from his place to the pier is about the same time)
The owner of the B&B was also very enthusiastic and provided me with many useful suggestions for checking in at attractions. He was also very helpful in recommending an electric car to rent. It cost 50r a day in the off-season. I made three trips back and forth from north to south in one day. (If you don’t eat seafood, you can only go there. I went to look for food at the Farmer’s Trade Center)
The room is very spacious and bright, and the environment is very quiet and hygienic. It has a balcony, and it is also a good choice to watch the sunset from the balcony. The breakfast has a variety of varieties and is better than I expected.
It's a wonderful trip.
(By the way, let’s talk about how slow the off-season of a 5A scenic spot can be)

There are even disposable toilet seats in the bathroom, which is much better than other B&Bs. It was very quiet at night, the bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The Rainbow Road by the sea is very beautiful. You can drink tea on the balcony and enjoy the sea view, which is very comfortable. The boss and his wife are warm and attentive in their service. The soy milk for breakfast is freshly made every day and is very delicious. As soon as you drink it, you can tell that it is not made from soy milk powder that is made for the sake of cheapness and convenience. The breakfast is buffet style, very clean, hot and warm. The corn is sticky and fragrant, very healthy and delicious. It was also the first time I had shredded squid for breakfast. It was sweet and refreshing. I read the guide on a certain website, and it specifically mentioned that the must-try food on Meizhou Island is Chunweifang’s special fried buns. We went to buy some that afternoon but were scared away by the long line and didn’t get to try them. To our surprise, we saw them on the breakfast table at the B&B the next day, and they were really delicious! It seems that the proprietress really put a lot of effort into preparing these breakfasts to present the special snacks of Meizhou Island, focusing on health and wellness. Especially since the prices on Meizhou Island are so expensive, the family can save a lot of money by having a full breakfast! !

MM28v996v5****Super satisfied! ! ! The homestay itself is very new and clean, with complete facilities and modern bedding. Living on the fourth floor has a sea view rooftop with invincible scenery. Independent breakfast, exquisite and rich, from 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock, far beyond the average homestay level. The location is close to the Tianhou Palace (shocked at night), there is a food street nearby, all within 10 minutes walk, very convenient. The boss and his wife are friendly and welcoming, with appropriate benefits, providing very practical routes and transportation information. The boss not only picked up the station at the pier, but we played on the island after checking out. The boss readily helped us send the stored luggage directly to the pier, so that we could catch the return liner smoothly and had a great time. The people and scenery in Mazu's hometown are beautiful, I hope to have a chance to come again!

GGuest UserThe hotel front desk staff was polite. When we checked-in, they gave us fruit as welcome gift. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakwast was average. The hotel is near the train station but to the town centre, the journey was 30 minutes by didi. Overall, we are happy with the stay. When we left the hotel, we used their free drop-ofd service at the train station.

MM2cvw2xm2****My wife and I chose this place for our honeymoon because we loved their infinity pool. We initially booked a sea-view room, but later paid extra for their terrace pool room. The terrace directly faces the sea, offering panoramic views of the shimmering water and distant islands. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace was an amazing experience. Location: Located on Lianchi'ao Beach, the guesthouse is built right on the beach, offering stunning sea views right from the room door. Room amenities: 2. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The private pool on the terrace was a unique feature; after swimming, we relaxed on the lounge chairs next to the pool, enjoying the sea breeze – so relaxing we didn't want to leave. The room's decor was simple yet stylish, with wooden floors and large windows providing excellent natural light. It even had a projector, so we could watch movies with the sea view from bed at night.
The package includes complimentary pier pick-up and drop-off, exquisite breakfast and afternoon tea with a variety of delicious snacks, fruits, and drinks. Enjoying these on the terrace with the sea view creates a truly special experience. The infinity pool on the first floor is also very photogenic. Overall, the place is very clean, the service is attentive, and the facilities are new, especially the comfortable lounge chairs.

MM313265****The hotel was excellent. I arrived late, and they even upgraded my room for free. It's right across from Jiuhua Plaza and very close to the E-commerce Town, about two kilometers away. The café, however, had poor service; there was only one staff member. I waited for ages without being served, and whenever I asked something, they said they didn't know. I've stayed at Shangri-La many times, and this was the only time the café experience was bad. After the hotel lobby manager found out, they sent up chocolates, wine, and a small cake as compensation. The service experience was exceptional, and I'll definitely choose to stay at Shangri-La again in the future. Highly recommended!

They patiently answered all our questions about local dining options, and their recommendations for restaurants were spot-on – the food was fantastic! The complimentary buffet breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, and the quality was excellent. It was incredibly satisfying to start each day with such a rich and delicious meal. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose Fengdalin Hotel again on my next visit to Putian, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

GGuest UserFirst off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
