"The service was excellent, especially the gentleman with glasses at the front desk – he was super friendly and always happy to help, whether it was checking in, borrowing an umbrella, or getting change for laundry. The hotel's location is great, right near Guohua Street, making it really convenient to walk out for food, and there are old shops nearby too. The room had a smart toilet and comfortable bedding. My only minor gripe was that the window was smaller than I expected and there was no natural light. I'd recommend paying a bit extra for a city view room, as the lighting would be much better. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tainan."

"The hotel location was amazing! Just 10 to 15 walk away from many famous Tainan sites like Hayashi, Chikan tower. The room had a sati and a wet and dry bathroom. Ruru the receptionist also tried her best to accommodate to our requests (my dad didn't want rooms on 13th floor). House keeper, Kiki, did a great job in tidying up the room. Will definitely go for a lakeshore hotel when I am in taiwan!"

"Great value for money!! You get a bigger discount if you stay multiple nights. The AC works perfectly. Hot water is consistent. The bathroom is pretty clean. It was a bit dusty. They're renovating, so some amenities are missing, lol. There's a coin laundry on the top floor. But the value for money is excellent. When you're traveling in Taiwan, you're out and about all day anyway, right? It's perfectly fine if you just need a place to sleep here, even for a nap. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby. There's the Pu-Jie bakery and the Lai Yi Wan beef noodle soup place. If you look them up on Google Maps, there are plenty of highly-rated spots, which is great!"

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The location is quite convenient, situated right next to a well-known bakery, which made it easy to grab fresh bread and snacks anytime. There’s also a nice burger place just across the street, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The surrounding area is lively enough without being too noisy, so it’s a good balance for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility. The hotel itself was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a short stay. While it may not be overly luxurious, it offers good value for convenience."

"My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...)."

"Simply perfect... The overall quality and comfort were outstanding. The dorm room was spacious and airy, featuring a full-length mirror and a long table with benches in the center for guests to place their belongings. My bunk felt very comfortable and hassle-free, perhaps because I was assigned a lower bunk, which made getting in and out easy. The upper bunks might be a bit more inconvenient. A great plus was that even the lower bunks were quite high, unlike some hostels where the beds are so low you feel like you're almost lying on the floor. The shower facilities were very comfortable, and they even provided hair oil. The common areas were also delightful, cozy, and beautifully designed with excellent分区. Upon check-in, they gave me a small Tainan travel guide. I read it thoroughly and found it incredibly charming and useful. The memory of relaxing on the beanbag in the common area, reading and taking notes that evening, is still so vivid. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tainan."

"Great place to stay in Tainan. Super close to the train station. Lovely quiet room at the end of the corridor overlooking the (empty) swimming pool. Friendly service, and a nice touch with snacks available at 9pm. The hotel is older (still need a physical key to unlock the room door) but it's in great condition. We didn't eat there, so cannot comment on the food or restaurant. We thought it was very reasonably priced for our Sunday night stay and would happily book again."

"The room was spacious enough, making a one-day stay quite comfortable. The complimentary bottled water in the room was a bit sparse; getting more water was a slight inconvenience as I had to request it from the front desk."

"Highly recommended for families with kids! There's so much fun stuff at the hotel that my child didn't want to leave. At night, they slept cuddling the little toy they received, and in the morning, they brought the bear with them for breakfast, even taking it along for car rides. They said they want to come back again next time!"

"This is my second time staying here, and I also took the opportunity to visit the nearby historical sites. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was clean, and the self-service luggage storage was a great bonus."
